M and O for STP for Guwahati Transit Camp

M&L for Comprehensive Maintenance of Sewage Treatment Plants with its connected equipments for 11 months, STPs running in shifts wise (each shift of 08 Hours) per day by employing qualified or experienced Operators and Helpers/Safaiwala (which is measured and paid under BOQ item Nos 02 & 03) including repair maintenance and opertion of all electrical & Machenical equipment installed at STP Installation all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge. Details of comprehensive maint & Operation as follows :- (a) Reapir and rewinding of pumping set and motor starters, replacement of filter medias, activated carbon medias, jel medias, and replacement of unserviceable/burned out electric breakers with contral gears i.e, MCB, MCCB, Contactors, Spares parts of STP etc as per site requirement by the contractor on quoted rate without extra cost. (b) Contractor will be responsible to keep clean surrounding area of STP installations. (c) The following chemicalls will be used for treatment to achieve the result of treated water and consumption record will be maint each installations : - (i) Salicylic Acid (C7H603) (ii) Sodium Hydroxide Flakes (NaOH) (iii) Amonium Ferrious Sulphatic (NH4)2 SO4 FeSO4 6H2O (iv) Magnesium Salphate (MgSo4 7H2O) (v) Sodium Thiosulphatc (Na2 S2O3 5H2O) (vi) Potasium di chromate (K2Cr2O7) (vii) Sodium Iodise (NaI) (viii) H2So4 (ix) Banrkem (Ph) (x) Distrilled Water as required (d) The treated water samples will be tested on monthly basis from Govt lab or Govt authorised lab and submit test report on monthly basis. (e) Contractor will produce character certificate issued by Police Station, Education/qualification certificate and Experience Certificate belonging minimum 02 years of the staff employed. (f) Necessary life insurance will be done as per prevailing rules for each tradesman employed through this job and the original policy documents will be produced for verification and record of the accepting officer immediately on after approval of trades man (g) All expenditure for Reapir and rewinding of pumping set and motor starters, replacement of filter medias, activated carbon medias, jel medias, and electric breakers with contral gears i.e, MCB, MCCB, Contactors, Spares parts of STP, T&P, Dress, Safety Hardness Equipments communication, stationery, insurance of tradesmans etc as per specified in this job are deemed to be included in the quoted rate Note:- (a) Contractor shall quote his rates for maint of STP installations and provide chemical as per site requirements. (b) Wages for Operator & Helper/Safaiwala will be measured and paid seperately under BOQ Item Nos 02 and 03. (c) All payments of labours will be done by contractor through Nationalized Banks and produced the bank statement to department before claiming any payments on account of the contract. (h) PENAL CHARGES :- (i) contractor is failed to maintain/operate STP, they will be liable to pay @1000/- per shift per STP as penaulty. (ii) contractor is failed to submt the water test report from Govt lab or govt auth lab, they will be liable to pay @ Rs 4000/- per month per STP as penaulty. (iii) Not cleaning (General Maint) of area - Rs 1500 per month per STP (iv) Not providing T&P, protective clothing or safety equipment - Rs 4000 per month

Operators (i) First Shift (0800 hrs to 1600 hrs)

(ii) Second shift (1600 hrs to 2400 hrs)

Helper/Safaiwala (i) First Shift (0800 hrs to 1600 hrs)

(ii) Second Shift (1600 hrs to 2400 hrs)
