M&L Wire brushing and cleaning top surface of tiles, cement concrete, including flashings and junction of parapets including taking out old membrane/grass roots/vegetation etc., from existing roof surfaces and cleaning the surface after drying from dirt, mortar, dust mortar buds, algae and all other foreign matter and brushed and wiped, complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L Cutting out cracks to V-section in existing roofs or terracing surfaces, cleaning out and filling solidly with a hot mixture of bitumen and clean dry sand 1:1 (by weight), complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L Cutting chases, pinning in. making good to facings where required and pointing in cement mortar 1:3 to ends or edges of landings, steps, cills, sunshades, shelves, lintels, etc.; and cutting chases for inserting APP membrane, concealed water tubing or concealed conduit wiring, etc., and making good, cutting not exc 10 cm girth in brick wall.

M&L for providing cement concrete type 1:2:4 type B-0(12.5 mm graded agg ) as in roof kerbs or mud stops, filling of hold fasts and door frames, rounded or chamfered on edges complete all as specified.

M&L PCC 1:3:6 type C1 with 20 mm graded stone aggregate as in padding over roof slab for making slope on roof top surface finished even and smooth complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 10 mm thick Cement plaster on surfaces of concrete in CM 1:4 on roof surfaces (Over PCC Padding) with WPC (Note :- WPC shall be measured and paid separately)

Supply only of liquid water proofing compound complete all as specified and directed.

M&L Applying evenly a coat of bituminous primer conforming to IS- 3384 @ 0.30Ltr/Sqm, over the primed surface, apply a coat of hot blown 85/25 penetration grade bitumen conforming to IS- 702 @ 1.2 Kg/Sqm of the surface area, applying APP based polymeric membrane minimum weight 3.50kg/Sqm and of minimum thickness 3mm, reinforced with polyster non woven fabric ( weight not less than 150gm/Sqm ). APP membrane will be laid by torching overlaps with a propane or butane gastorch and laid across the slope from lowest line of roof towards ridge with over laps of 75mm in length side and 100mm on the width side of membrane bonded with hot blown bitumen and applying one coat of aluminum paint. (Note : (1) The work shall be executed through authorised applicator of manufacturer only. (2) Authrised Applicator shall be approved by GE before starting of work. (3) Guarantee: The contractor shall furnish a written guarantee for the effectiveness of the water proofing treatment for a period of Ten years in favour of the GE. A sum equivalent to 2.5% (Two point Five Percent) of the cost of water proofing treatment shall be retained by the Govt from the contractor’s dues as security deposit. The contractor may, however, furnish a fixed deposit receipt in lieu from a Schedule bank pledged in favour of Garrison Engineer.

Taking up or down 15mm bore steel tubing and connection incl cleaning for refixing or removal to store.

M&L Refixing old steel tubing and connections in new or old position with necessary fittings (Walls, ceiling, floors, etc.) bore of pipe in 15mm.

S&F for GI tubing medium grade galvanised with all fittings and fixed complete to walls and ceiling or laid in floors 15 mm bore.

Taking up or down 20mm bore steel tubing and connection incl cleaning for refixing or removal to store.

S&F Gun-metal globe or gate valves, with iron wheel head, screwed both ends for iron pipe and fixed , bore of pipe 15mm.

S&F for 20mm PVC Nipple suitable for HDPE Water tank (Min Wt 20mm-45gms) complete

M&L for Cement concrete tiles 20cm x 20cm x 20mm thick, machine pressed; set jointed and pointed in neat cement slurry in floors, and cut and polished with grey cement and pigment laid over and incl 15mm thick screed bed in CM 1:4 complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Demolition of cement concrete in ground floors of any description and in any position not otherwise specifically provided (un reinforced) complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.
