Supplying jamba wooden bally piles 150 mm mean diameter cut to length required (not exceeding 9 metres) and planted in position ready for driving: a) Upto 2.5 metres long pile

Driving down wooden piles of 150mm diameter either in vertical or battered work to approved lines and level through various strata including arranging all the appliances necessary for pile driving complete at site ( portion in ground only to be measured) a) Upto 2.5 metres long pile.

Centering and shuttering including struttings, propping etc. and removal of formwork for i) Foundations, footings, bases for columns.

Providing & laying cement concrete 1:1.5:3 (1 cement: 1.5 coarse sand: 3 graded granitic or basaltic stone aggrt. 20 mm. nominal size) excluding cost of centering, shuttering and finishing in: a) All works upto plinth level.

Earthwork in Embankment with approved earth (Contractor earth)/moorum including spreading the earth in layers not exceeding 250mm. in depth, breaking clods, watering, rolling each layer with half ton roller or wooden or steel hammer including filling up ground depression, dressing etc. complete with all lead and lift and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and Driving Nilgiri wood or equivalent piles of length upto 6.00 m. as specified and 0.13 m. mean diameter spacing at 0.50 m. c/c or as directed under water including cutting the driving edge to the required shape, erecting in position, fastening driving with wooden mallet or steel hammer including strutting etc. as per specification with all leads etc Complete and as directed by Engineer-In-Charge.

Providing and fixing bamboos of length 6.00 m. or as specified and 4 cms. mean diameter spacing at 0.20 m.c/c or as directed for groynes, cofferdam and closure of breaches including cutting into pieces, longitudinally holding in position, fastening with coir string, nailing as per specifications with all lead and as directed by Engineer-In-Charge etc. complete.

Rubble packing with hard laterite stone under floors including watering ramming and consolidating etc. in pipeline trenches and other foundations complete.

18mm cement plaster in two coats under layer 12mm thick cement plaster 1:5 ( 1 cement : 5 coarse sand) and top layer 6mm thick with cement plaster 1: 3 (1 cement : 3 coarse sand) finished with sponge.

Providing woodwork in frames of doors, windows, clerestory windows trusses & other frames wrought framed and fixed in positon.d) Second class matti wood

Painting 2 coats with oil type wood preservative of approved brand & manufacture on new work.
