REPAIR RESURFACING OF CERTAIN ROADS AND REPLACEMENT OF ROAD FURNITURE ITEMS AND ROAD PAINTING INSIDE FORT WILLIAM UNDER GE(FW) KOLKATA

M&L for repair to potholes any depth not exc 1.00 Sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc.cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth and making good by applying tack coat with bituminous primer VG-10 at 5Kg per 10 Sqm putting in premixed bituminous macadam, well rammed and sealed with paving bitumen VG-30 binder 9.8 Kg per 10 Sqm, blinded with 0.09 cum of 6.3mm size stone chippings and again well rammed complete depth of potholes exceeding 30mm all as spcified and as directed.

M&L for preparation of existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brush for removing caked mud etc sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc and applying evenly a tack coat with paving bitumen VG-30 @5 kg per 10 Sqm complete all as specified & directed.

M&L for bituminous premixed carpet 25 cm consolidated thickness with 0.34 cum of stone chipping mixed with 18.25 Kg of Paving bitumen VG-30 binder, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient with exc 8 tonne to 10 tonne power roller complete all as specified and directed Note:- Mixing will be carried out by hot mix plant and laying will be carried out by mechanical paver.

M&L for Premix bituminous, macadam laid / rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness 75mm or less), binder content 4% by weight of total mix of paving bitumen of VG-30 grade complete all as specified and directed

S&F of Cat's eye / Road stud, solar reflective type, metal body alloy, size 100mm x 100 mm x 20mm with PAMA striplens reflector with and incl MS stud of suitable size complete and fixing as per manufacturers instructions and all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge, as in repair. Make:- Dark Eye Model No DA-952 GP or equivalent product of 3M / SInor Infrstructure.

S&F of Solar Cat's eye / Road Stud, aluminium alloy (100% water proofing design ) of size 125mm x 125mm x 25mm (shank 65mm) of high efficieny Mono rystafie solar panel 2.4V / 0.3 watt one NI-ed rechargeable battery (1.2V / 1600MA) consisting of super bright LED with 10,000 to 18,000 mcd complete and fixing as per manufacturers instructions and all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge, as in repair. Make:- Dark Eye Model No DA 110 or equivalent product of of 3M / Sinor Infrastructure

M&L for applying a tack coat over existing bituminous surface @ 0.5 Kg/Sqm of 20/30 bitumen and providing and laying 20mm thick bitumen mastic asphalt on prepared surface strictly design mix in accordance with IS specification No5317-2002(As latest modified) with mastic i.e. bitumen of grade 20/30 @4.50 Kg /Sqm (minimum) mixed stone dust (lime stone powder with calcium value 80%) @0.008 Cum/Sqm and stone chipping of size 12.5mm and 10mm @0.0096 Cum/Sqm and sand @0.004 Cum per sqm and inerting stone graded of 22mm size with 0.017 Kg/Sqm of 20/30 bitumen per Sqm for anti skiding including all tools and plants etc complete all as specified and directed. Note:-(i) No price adjustment shall be applicable if the approved quantity of binder as per design mix is more than the specified quantity. (ii) Tenderer is adviced to assess the realistic quantity of binder for the Design Mix specified above before quoting. If considered necessary, they may get the Design Mix done one their own before quoting the tender. However, the Design Mix done prior to quoting of tender shall not be considered for incorporation in the work after conclusion of contract.

M&L for preparation of bitumonus surfaces of road and marking 2.5 mm thick centre lines, stop lines, dashes, arrows etc and the like n.exc 10cm wide on roads, pavements with hot applied thermoplastic road marking paint of approved colour conforming to BS 3262-1989 with special applicator machine all as per manufacturers instruction complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking up old manhole cover with frame (heavy duty) and raising / refixing in proper position, set in cement mortar 1:3 and haunching with PCC (1:2:4) type B1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) concrete all around and finishing even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed.
