Cleaning the concrete surface by removing dirt and debris, marking defective locations and removing loose concrete by careful stripping untill hard surface is exposed, cutting the concrete to regular shape, wire brushing the exposed surface and removing debris from site complete as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Applying epoxy mortar over leached, honey combed and spalled concrete surface (@ 20-24 kg of Epoxy mortar /sqm) and exposed steel reinforcement complete as per Technical Specification (Reference to MORT&H's specification 2804) and as per direction of Engineer-in-charge. Thickness of epoxy mortar = 10mm
Supplying & laying 20 mm designer chequered tiles of any shade and of approved quality as per IS:1237:1980 laid in patterns as directed in pavement, footpath including necessary underlay 25 mm thick average cement mortar (1:3) complete in all respect with all labour and materials [using cement slurry @ 4.4 kg./sq.m at back side of tiles and as per direction of Engineer-in-charge. Cement of mortar & slurry will be supplied by the Department. Border concrete if necessary to be paid separately]
Providing and placing high strength, non shrink pre-packed free flow micro concrete (location as per direction of Engineer-in-charge) having compressive stringth of 60 Mpa at 28 days (compresive strength of one day should not be less than 25 Mpa) as per specification. The mirco concrete mix shall be prepared by mixing non shrink pre-packed free flow micro concrete powder with well graded cleaned crushed, aggregate 10 mm and down (aggregate should be less than 10 mm but retained on 3.36 mm) in proportion of 2:1 (two prt packed micro concrete powder: one part stone aggregate) by weight for repairing excessively damaged area of structure element excluding reinforcement but including scaffolding, entering, fixing water type form work, shuttering, quring inclusive of all labour, materials equipments, etc. complete as per specification and instruction of Engineer-in-Charge. This item includes preparation and submission of mixed design for compressive strength of 60 Mpa at 28 days (Compressive strength of one day should not be less than25 Mpa for approval of Engineer-in-Charge. (Note:- Non shrink prepacked micro concrete powder content consider in this item is 1450 kg/cum, Excess/less micro concrete powder used as per design mix is payable recoverable separately).

Providing and laying 30 mm thick mastic asphalt wearing course with approved grade bitumen meeting the requirements given in table 500-39, prepared by using mastic cooker and laid to re quired level and slope after cleaning the surface, including providing antiskid surface with bitumen precoated fine-grained hard stone chipping of 13.2 mm nominal size at the rate of 0.005 cum per 10 sqm and at an approximate spacing of 10 cm center to center in both directions, pressed in to surface when the temperature of surfaces is not less than 100°C, protruding 1mm to 4mm over mastic surface, all complete as per clause 516 (Reference to MORT&H's specification clause 516 along with IRC:107) and as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.
Providing anti-corrosive protective coating to inhibit the corrosion to HYSD reinforcements including two coats of anti-corrosive coatings of consumption as per manufacturer's specification, cleaning etc. complete as per the direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Supplying & fixing of Raised Pavement Markers/Road Studs/Cats Eye made of poly carbonate moulded body and reflective panels with micro prismatic lens capable of providing total internal reflection of the light entering the lens face which shall support a load of 13635 kg tested in accordance to ASTMD 4280 Type-H and compling to Specifications of Category A of MoR&TH Circular No. RW/NH/33023/10-97-DO III Dt.11.06.1997 & MoRT&H's specification for Road & Bridge Works (Fifth Rev.). Marker height shall not be less than 10 mm and shall not exceed 20 mm, width shall not exceed 130 mm and with minimum reflective area of 13 sqcm on each side and slope to the base shall be 35±5 degree. Fixing will be without nails but by using epoxy resin based adhesive as per manufacturer's recommendation including site clearence etc and complete as directed by the Engineer in Charge. The contractor will have to provide a test certificate from a reputable national/international laboratory comforming the above specifications.
