Construction of Digestion-cum-Sample preparation of SSWM at main campus Nauni, Solan (SH- Site development, building portion, Water supply and Sanitary installatin).

Amount

Cutting in all kinds of earth work and disposal of all excavated earth upto all leads, lifts and carriage of material complete in all respect as per satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge.

Excavation in foundation trenches etc. in all kinds of soil such as pick work, jumper work including chiseling / wedging etc. with all lifts stacking the excavated soil not more than 3 metres clear from the edge of excavation and then returning the stacked soil in 15 cm layers, when required into plinth sides of foundation etc. consolidating each deposited layer by ramming and watering and then disposing of all surplus excavated earth as directed with all leads and lifts of material as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Filling in plinth with sand under floors including watering ramming consolidating and dressing complete including all leads and lifts of material as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Form work with steel plates 3.15mm thick welded with angle iron in frame 30x30x5mm so as to give a fair finish including centring, shuttering, strutting and propping etc. with wooden battens and ballies height of propping and centring below supporting floor to ceiling not exceeding 4 metres and removal of the same for insitu-reinforced concrete complete and plain concrete work including all leads and lifts of material as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

a) Foundation footings, bases of column etc. and mass concrete.

b) Beams, cantilever, girders and lintel : Sides and soffits of beams, beam haunchings, cantilevers, girders bressumers and lintels not exceeding 1 metre in depth.

c) Flat surface such as soffits of suspended floors, roofs landing and the like Floor etc. upto 200mm in thickness.

d) Columns, pillars, posts and struts: Square rectangular polygonal in plan.

e) Vertical surface such as walls (any thickness) partitions and the like including attached pilasters burresses, plinth and string course and the like.

f) Vertical fins and vertical sum breakers.

Providing and laying cement concrete 1:6:12 (one cement: six sand and twelve graded stone crushed aggregate 40mm (forty milimetre nominal size) curing complete excluding cost of form work in foundation and plinth in all leads and lifts of material as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and laying cement concrete 1:8:16 (one cement : eight sand : sixteen graded stone crushed aggregate 20mm nominal size)and curing complete on slab and floor excluding the cost of form work screed laid under flooring complete in all respect as per satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and laying cement concrete 1:5:10 (one cement: five sand and ten graded stone crushed aggregate 40mm (forty milimetre nominal size) curing complete excluding cost of form work in foundation and plinth in all leads and lifts of material as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and laying damp proof course 38mm thick with cement concrete 1:2:4 (one cement : two sand : four graded stone crushed aggregate 12.5mm nominal size) and curing complete including all leads and lifts of material as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and laying damp proof course to horizontal / vertical surfaces with cement mortar 1:2 (one cement : two sand) and curing complete in all respect as per satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge. a) 20mm thick

Applying a coat of hot bitumen (maxphalt 80/100) or equivalent using 1.70 kg. per square metre on damp course after cleaning the surface with piece of cloth lightly soaked in kerosene oil including all leads and lifts of material as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and laying cement concrete work with concrete mixer and vibrator mix 1:1.5:3 (one cement one and half sand: three graded stone aggregate crushed aggregate 20mm (twenty millimetre nominal size) and curing complete excluding cost of form work and reinforcement for reinforced concrete work in all leads and lifts as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

a) Foundations, footings bases of column and the like and mass concrete.

b) Suspended floor roofs, landings and shelves and their supports balconies, beams girders, bressurmers and cantilevers upto all floor level.

c) Columns pillars, posts and struts upto all floor level.

d) Vertical and horizontal fins (thickness not more then 0.10m) individually or forming box louvers and projected band unto all floor level.

Providing and laying cement concrete 1:1½:3 (one cement : one and half sand and three graded stone aggregate 20mm (twenty milimetre nominal size) reinforced concrete Chhajjas not exceeding 10cm thickness upto all floor level including finished the exposed surfaces with cement mortar 1 : 3 (one cement : three sand) to give a smooth and even surface centering/form work and curing complete excluding the cost of the reinforcement including all leads, lifts, and carriage of material.

Providing and laying upto all floor level reinforced cement concrete 1:3:6 (one cement : 3 sand : 6 graded stone aggregate 20mm nominal size) to give a smooth and even surface centering and shuttering etc. but excluding cost of reinforcement complete in all respect as per satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge. a) Moulding as in cornices window sills etc. not exceeding 15cm in girth.

Providing TMT steel reinforcement for R.C.C. work including bending binding and placing in position complete upto all floor level including all leads and lifts of material as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

2nd class brick work using common burnt clay building bricks in foundation and plinth in cement mortar 1:6 (one cement : six sand) including all leads and lifts of material as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and fixing anodized aluminium and dyed to required shade work for doors, windows, ventilators and partitions with extruded built up standard tubular and other sections of approved make conforming to IS-733 and IS-1285 anodized transparent or dyed to required shade according to IS-1868 (minimum anodic coating of grade AC-15). Fixed with rawl plug and screws or with fixing clips or with expansion hold fasteners including necessary filling up of gaps at junctions at top, bottom and sides with required PVC/neoprene felt etc. Aluminium sections shall be smooth, rust free, wherever required including cleat angles, aluminium snap beading for glazing/paneling, C.P. brass / stainless steel screws, all complete as per architectural drawings and the direction of Engineer-in-Charge (Jindal / Hindalco make).

Providing and fixing glazing in aluminium door, window, ventilator shutters and partition etc. with PVC/ neoprene gasket etc. complete as per architectural drawing and the directions of Engineer-in-Charge (cost of aluminium snap beading shall be paid in basic item). a). Providing & fixing 10mm thick antiskid water proof stain & impact resistant heavy duty vitrified tiles (Premium Kazaria / Nitco/ Johnson make) 600x600mm and 10mm thick manufactured of approved shade and colour in floorings, treads of steps and landing laid on a bed of 12mm thick cement mortar 1:3 (One cement : three sand) jointed with cement slurry mixed with pigment to match the shade of tiles as required complete in all respect as per satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing & fixing 10mm thick Glossy stain & impact resistant heavy duty vitrified tiles (Premium Kazaria / Nitco/ Johnson make) 600x600mm and 10mm thick manufactured of approved shade and colour in floorings, treads of steps and landing laid on a bed of 12mm thick cement mortar 1:3 (One cement : three sand) jointed with cement slurry mixed with pigment to match the shade of tiles as required complete in all respect as per satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge.

White / coloured glazed jointlesss tiles 8mm (eight milimetre) thick in skirting risers of steps and dado 12mm (twelve milimetre) thick cement plaster 1:3 (one cement : three sand) and jointed with white cement slurry including all leads and lifts of material as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge (Nitco/ Johnson / Kazaria make 1st quality).

Providing and laying granite stone in flooring 20mm (average) thickness base of cement mortar 1:3 (one cement: three sand) laid over and jointed with grey cement slurry mixed pigment to match the shade of granite stone including rubbing and polishing complete. a) 20mm thick black jet.

Providing & fixing 0.60mm (point sixty milimetre) thick prepainted steel sheet in roofing with hot dipped metallic zinc coated sheet with top coat of regular modified polyster (RNP) organic coating of 20 microns over 5 microns primer coating to back coat of polister of 5 micron over 5 microns primer coating including fixing with prepainted iron J or L hooks, bolts and nuts 6mm dia with prepainted limpet and rubber washers complete with all accessories as required as per the direction /satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge. Steel work welded in built up sections trusses and framed work including cuttings, hoisting, fixing in position and applying a priming coat of red lead paint including all leads and lifts of material as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. (TATA / JINDAL make)

a) In beams, joists, channels angles, tees, flats with connecting plates or angles as cleats in main and cross beams, hip and jack rafters, purlins connected to common rafter and the like.

b) In grating framed guard bars, ladders, railing, brackets and similar work.

Painting two coat (excluding priming coat) on new steel and other matter surfaces with enamel paint brushing to give an even shade including cleaning the surface of all dirt, dust and other foreign matter including all leads and lifts of material as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. a) Enamel paint other than white.

Applying Birla white wall care putty over plaster surface after thoroughly brushing the surface free from mortar drops, dust, loose materials and other foreign matters sand papered smooth to give final matter finish to the surface complete in all respect as per satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge.

Wall painting (two coats) with acrylic emulsion paint of approved brand and manufacture for interior grade on undecorated concrete / stone / plastered wall surfaces to give an even shade including thoroughly brushing the surface free from mortar dropping and other foreign matter and sand papered smooth including applying of putty a required for metling the surface complete in all respect as per satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge.

Finishing wall with weather proof exterior grade emulsion of approved design (Apexultima) or its equalized on undecorated wall surfaces (two coats) to give an even shade and final finish after thoroughly cleaning the surface to remove all dirt, dust & other foreign matter etc. including sand paper smooth complete in all respect as per satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge.

6mm (six milimetre) cement plaster to ceiling in cement mortar 1:3 (one cement: three sand) complete in all respect as per satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge.

15mm (fifteen milimetre) cement plaster in single coat in fair/rough side on brick concrete/stone walls for interior/exterior plastering with all height including arises internal rounded angles chamfers and/or rounded angles not exceeding 80mm (eighty milimetre) in girth and finished even and smooth in cement mortar 1:6 (one cement: six sand) including all leads and lifts and material as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
