CRACKFILLING ON PARAPET WALL (UP TO CHAJJA) & MUMTY ROOMS: Providing and applying crystalline mortar by mixing in the ratio of 4.5:1 (4.5 parts crystalline mortar: 1 part water) for the treatment of cracks and spalled & honeycombed surface of parapet wall and mumty rooms. The crystallie mortar shall conform to the EN 1504- 3 having compressive strength Class R4 >= 45 MPa and adhesive bond strength Class R3 >= 1.5 MPa. The work shall be carried out all complete as per specification and the direction of the engineer-in-charge. The product performance shall carry guarantee for 10 years against any leakage. For sealing cracks, routed out/ making U-shape groove size 25x25 mm and then primed the area with integral crystalline slurry @0.05 kg/running metre and while the surface is tacky filled the groove upto surface with crystalline mortar @1.50 kg/running metre. Once crystalline mortar is touch dry then finally applied two coats of integral crystalline slurry @0.05 kg/running metre per coat.

REPAIRS TO PLASTER ON PARAPET WALL (UP TO CHAJJA) & MUMTY ROOMS: Repairs to plaster with sand faced plaster in patches of area 2.5 sq.meters and under. Cutting the patch in proper shape, raking out joints and preparing the surface. Providing sand faced plaster in cement mortar using approved screened sand, including base coat of 12 mm thick in cement mortar 1:5 (1 cement : 5 coarse sand) using waterproofing compound as per manufacturer specification and curing the same for not less than 2 days and keeping the surface of the base coat rough to receive the sand faced treatment 6 to 8 mm thick in cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement:3 coarse sand) finishing the surface rough with sponge by taking out grains and curing (for fourteen days). Including disposal of rubbish to the dumping ground, including cost of Jhula and Complete in all respect as per the direction of Engineer- in-Charge.

WATERPROOFING ON PARAPET WALL & MUMTY ROOMS: Surface Prepration including cleaning the surface with wire brush, remove dirt, dust, fungus, paint etc. Use water spray and allow it to dry for 12 hours. Providing & Applying Polymer Modified flexible cementitious positive side waterproofing coating with elastic waterproofing polymers on exterior surface in three coats @ 10 sqft/ltr one coat of self-priming coat of Dulux Aquatech Roof Waterproofing Polymer (dilution with 30% water) and two coats of cementitious waterproofing polymer (without dilution). Including cost of Jhula and Complete in all respect as per the direction of Engineer- in-Charge.

WATERPROOFING TREATMENT ON TERRACE: Providing water proofing treatment for existing common terrace and terrace of mumty rooms. i) Dismantling and Surface preparation: Dismantling of existing china mosaic flooring, old brickbat coba etc. Prepare the surface thoroughly by cleaning, washing and removing dust, dirt, oil, grease and loose particles etc. ii) Crack filling: Clean concrete cracks and hairline cracks, of dust, residue or other contamination. Clean thoroughly construction joints and all cracks >2mm in width and prime locally with primer. Fill the prepared cracks and Construction joints with PU sealant and followed by two layers of liquid applied polyurethane waterproofing membrane. iii) Polyurethane Waterproofing Treatment: The concrete surface should be prime with PU primer at an application rate of 0.20 Kg / m2 and allow it to touch dry condition which typical may take 3 -4 hours. Apply liquid applied polyurethane waterproofing membrane as per manufacturer specification. Apply liquid applied polyurethane waterproofing coat to the primed substrate and spread with roller or brush. Allow it to cure for 12 to 18 hours and apply consecutive layer at same recommended thickness and consumption (not later than 48 hours).After 3rd coat of application, allow it to cure for 7 days. Loosely lay more than 100 GSM geotextile fabric over fully cured surface as separation layer. Provide and lay average 15mm thk protective coat of CM in 1:4 over the surface and allow to set and cure. Angle fillet must provide while screed application using polymer modified mortar at all junctions. iv) Provide and lay brickbat waterproofing coba in 1 Cement : 5 Coarse Sand. mortar as per specifications and with waterproofing compound conforming to IS-2645 shall be laid over R.C.C. Slab with necessary gradient for easy flow of rain water. This treatment shall continue along the inner side of parapet of other adjoining wall upto height of about 30cm in the shape of round vata. The top surface shall be covered with joint less waterproofing plaster of 1 Cement : 4 Coarse Sand of 12 mm to 15 mm in thickness with waterproofing compound conforming to IS-2645 as per specifications of specialized waterproofing Co. The average thickness of complete treatment shall be 120 mm and minimum thichness at Khurras shall be 65mm. The surface shall be rendered hard and tough to withstand the weather, normal domestic use. Make khurras as specified for draining roof water. Cure the entire surface with water for a period of 14 days. Finally the top surface shall be covered with glazed China mosaic tile flooring as per design. The rate is inclusive of the cost of watering, tamping, curing and cleaning the top of all dust, loose materials, stains etc. complete as directed. PU based waterproofing undercoat is to be done as per manufacturer's specifications and through manufacturer approved/authorized applicator. Debris shall become contractor’s property and shall be disposed as per the directions of Bank. The finished terrace surface shall be ponded for a period of 10 days to test for any leakage without any extra cost. The waterproofing treatment shall be with 5 yrs. warranty. Clear horizontal measurement between walls will be paid for actual. All above operations to be done in order and as directed and specified by the Engineer-in-charge.
