Soil Bearing Capacity Report of 50 Bedded Critical Care Unit at Manimara, Chandigarh

Drilling bore holes of 100/ 150mm dia. in all type of soil by shell and auger method or percussion machine upto 30 mtr. depth or refusal level (N>50) whichever is earlier in all type of soil including conduction standard penetration tests in the boreholes at regular intervals as per the standard practice, collection of undisturbed soil samples from the bore holes at regular intervals and recording or water table level if met with within the depth drilled and conducting all the necessary laboratory tests on the samples collected as per IS for and to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge. a) Classification of soil b) Consistency Limits c) Cohesion d) Angle of Friction e) Specific Gravity f) Wet and Dry Bulk Densities g) Evaluation of Bearing Capacity h) Bore hole strata logs etc. to base allowable bearing capacity on shear failure and settlement considerations.
