Clearing jungle including uprooting of rank vegetation, grass, brush wood, trees and saplings of girth up to 30 cm measured at a height of 1 m above ground level and removal of rubbish up to a distance of 50 m outside the periphery of the area cleared.
Excavation in soil with hydraulic excavator of 0.9 cum bucket capacity including cutting and loading in tippers, trimming bottom and side slopes, in accordance with requirements of lines, grades and cross sections, and transporting to the embankment location (Airport operational premises) with all lifts and lead.

Providing, laying, spreading and compacting graded stone aggregate (size range 53 mm to 0.075 mm ) to wet mix macadam (WMM) specification including premixing the material with water at OMC inmechanical mix plant, carriage of mixed material by tipper to site,for all leads & lifts, laying in uniform layers with mechanical paver finisher in sub- base / base course on well prepared surface and compacting with vibratory roller of 8 to 10 tonne capacity to achieve the desired density, complete as per specifications and directions of Engineer-in-Charge.
Providing and applying primer coat with bitumen emulsion SS1 grade conforming to IS:8887 on prepared surface of Granular Base including clearing of surface and spraying primer at the rate of 0.70 kg/sqm using mechanical means complete in all respects as per direction of Engineer-In-Charge. The contractor shall quote his rates assuming quantity of bitumen emulsion as 0.70 Kg/Sqm. If the actual quantity of bitumen emulsion varies from the quantity assumed above, necessary cost adjustment for deviation in the quantity of bitumen emulsion shall be done as per rate in actual supply voucher from nearest refinery at the time of execution. The rate of bitumen emulsion exclusive of GST shall only be considered for payment.
Providing and applying tack coat using suitable low viscosity paving bitumen of VG 10 grade conforming to IS:73 spraying the bitumen with mechanically operated spray unit at the rate specified below, cleaning and preparing the existing pavement surface as per specifications complete in all respects as per direction of Engineer-In-Charge. If the actual quantity of bitumen varies from the quantity specified, necessary cost adjustment for deviation in the quantity of bitumen shall be done as per rate in actual supply voucher from nearest refinery at the time of execution. The rate of bitumen exclusive of GST shall only be considered for payment. a) 0.20 Kg/Sqm on existing bituminous surface

Refineries and 2% hydrated lime by weight of aggregates as filler material]. The necessary cost adjustment shall be made based on JMF & availability of filler.

Painting runway/taxi track/apron marking with adequate no. of coats to give uniform finish with road marking paint of superior make as approved by the Engineer-in-charge i/c cleaning the surface of all dirt, scales, oil, grease and other foreign material etc. and lining out complete. a) New work (Two or more coats)
Making 50 mm (wide) x 50 mm (depth) furrows at an angle of 45 degree to the center line of Runway and at one metre interval and furrow of size 50 mm (wide) x 50 mm (depth) longitudinally to the runway edge in the existing bituminous wearing coarse including sweeping and disposal of excavated material within 1000 metres lead. Note: The work will be executed as per drawing attached and runway surface area will be measured for payment purpose.

The box should have two SS earth bolts of M10 x 30mm tapped inside near the hole (4" away from the hole center) and having a drain hole at the bottom suitably tapped to receive 15mm dia, "B" class GI pipe and having clear opening of 220 mm at the top surface and 6 Nos. M10 tapped hole at the hole center 260 mm to receive fitting base plate and bolts.
Supply of 16 Sqmm plug & receptacle of type I, class B connector & suitable field attachment with 5 KV grade XLPE insulated PE sheathed single core screened copper conductor cable as required.

Supply and fixing of MS dummy/blank base plates of 330 mm dia (minimum 10 mm thick) and 6 nos M-10 SS allen bolts as per drawing for covering the CI transformer housing box including providing gaskets, and SS allen bolts etc. complete as required
Supply of 2X4 sq.mm secondary lead made out of multi stranded copper conductor, EPR insulalted PCP sheathed, treated 600V grade cable as specified in particular specification and as required.
Supply of 2 x 4 sqmm, 600 V grade plug and receptacleof type II, class 'B' connector and suitable field attachment with EPR insulated, PCP sheathed,two core copper conductor secondary cable as required.
Dismantling of PAPI system (4 units) along with Transformer housing boxes, pipes, secondary leads, isolating transformers and check stick base etc. all accessories for re-use and transporting the same to the Departmental store/ Site premises etc. complete as required.
Installation, testing and commissioning of PAPI System (04 units) along with all its accessories, bases for checking stick including finalization of new location, taking level & setting right angles (minimum 03 times) by Total Station / Theodolite, excavation, RCC foundation (1:2:4) as per manufacturer/AAI recommendation upto required level, plastering, refilling, providing foundation bolts and nuts, fitting, fixing, cleaning, marking, earthing, connecting, providing pipe for secondary leads, painting and ground calibration of the system etc. complete as required.
Dismantling of Threshold light, End light along with secondary leads, isolating transformers etc. all accessories for re-use transporting and reinstalling the same at temporary location as per site requirement. Agency will have to shift threshold and End lights along with secondary leads, isolating transformers etc from temporary location to final location after completion of work.
Dismantaling the existing Runway Inset fitting (12") including shallow box from bitumen/concerete area in safe condition i/c disconnecting the secondary lead &same should be re Install, testing and commissioning with core cutting machine in the bitumen/pavement area of runway / RESA, aligning and setting including providing sealing material and installation of isolating transformers, crimping/joining of plug & receptacles and moulding the leads, connections of secondary leads alongwith other accessories required for commissioning etc as required.
Dismantaling of existing unidirectional threshold light fitting i/c CI box housing box and isolating transformer etc. complete as required
Dismantling of existing elevated type taxiway fittings completely alongwith isolating transformers after disconnecting the existing cable termination etc. all complete as required and stacking in electrical store in good condition within airport premises.
Dismantling the existing Elevated Runway Edge light fitting including Isolating transformer, base plate, disconnecting the secondry leads and re-Installing the same fitting withall accessories like isolating transformer, secondry lead, base plate, nut bolts etc as required.
Installation of C.I collar (size varies from 25 mm height to 200 mm height) on the existing tranformer housing box with M-10 bolts and base plate gasket, washer etc. with cement concrete mixture of 1:2:4 & thickness 150mm all round, including merging the collar with runway surface with slope from top to bottom with bituminous in cordination with civil. It also includes removal of runway edge light fitting from the transformer housing box and re-installation of runway edge light fitting on the collar. Fixing suitable Blank plate so as to avoide falling mixer material into CI box (Note: sufficent blank plate should be provided by the contractor untill work completes )as per EIC direction etc.complete as required.
Installation of transformer housing boxes with a base concrete of 1:3:6 of size 630 x 630 x 100 mm. thick all round concrete of 1:2:4, 150mm thick, the top sloped with 1:2:4 cement concrete including providing and fixing 10" long 15 mm. dia "B" class GI pipe with check nuts for drainage of water including excavation of side shoulder and refilling (wherever the transformer boxes are in a line the same has to be aligned in such a way that the centre fall in a straight line) etc, complete as required. (The box shall project above the shoulder to a maximum of 5 cm.).

This item includes dismantling of existing poles of approach lights and deposit the same at AAI store. It also includes supply and cutting, threading, making frangible of GI pipe sections complete as per site requirement, painted in yellow color etc..
Dismantling and Reinstallation of existing CAT-1 approach light. Agency will have to calibrate all the approach lights as per ICAO standard. Agency has also to provide final level and angle of approach light as per ICAO standard after reinstallation.
