Description of work for NS items

Providing, fabricating and fixing powder-coated aluminium glazed window of approved make, design and size, comprising heavy-duty aluminium outer frame and sliding/openable shutters as per approved drawing, fitted with 5 mm thick clear float glass and external aluminium safety grill/jali of approved design and pattern, including aluminium glazing beads, EPDM/neoprene rubber gaskets, wool pile/weather strips, heavy-duty rollers wherever required, handles, locking arrangement, cleats, brackets, corner joints, SS screws, anchor fasteners, necessary hardware and accessories, weatherproof silicone sealant around frame and joints, including cutting, fabrication, glazing, drilling, assembling, transportation, loading, unloading, erection, fixing, adjustment, making good the surrounding surface and all materials, labour, tools and tackles, complete in all respects as per approved sample/drawing and directions of Engineer-in-Charge/CEO.

Providing, fabricating and fixing powder-coated aluminium ventilator of approved make and design, comprising aluminium outer frame with fixed/top-hung shutter, 5 mm thick frosted/obscure glass and external aluminium safety/insect jali, including glazing beads, EPDM/neoprene gaskets, hinges/friction stays, handle, locking arrangement, SS screws, anchor fasteners, weatherproof silicone sealant and all necessary hardware and accessories, including cutting, fabrication, glazing, transportation, erection and complete fixing with all materials and labour, as per approved drawing and directions of Engineer-in-Charge/CEO.

1. Conditional tender shall not be accepted and in such case if the same tender is found lowest

the earnest money deposited by the contractor shall be forfeited.

2. Quantities may be increased or decreased upto any extant and contractor shall have no

claim for the same, the contractor is liable to pay all taxes as applicable by the Government.

3. If rates for N.S. Item not quoted, it means that contractor is ready to execute the work at free

of cost upto the value mentioned above in N.S. item.
