REPAIR/MAINTENANCE OF EOT CRANES, HOT CRANES, DRIVE CONTROLLERS AND CONNECTED MISCELLANEOUS WORKS INSTALLED AT DRDL, ASL AND NGARM AREA UNDER GE (I) RND KANCHANBAGH, HYDERABAD

Material and labour for conducting the load and deflection test to EOT/HOT cranes by the lift inspector operated by the state Govt. for following capacities and submitting test report to the GE through Engineer-in-charge. Note (i): Load blocks for testing of cranes shall be provided by the contractor under his own arrangement including transportation to and from the site and the cost for the same is deemed to be included in quoted rate. (ii) The load carrying slings should be tested prior to load test and the test certificate with all parameters should be signed by the safety officer & Engineer-in-Charge.

Periodical examination, normal and routine maintenance including cleaning/greasing & oiling of all wherever applicable parts like Wheels, Girder, Wire rope, Hook block, Hook, Bumper, Walkway, Trolley, Hoist, Hoisting motor, Hoisting gear, ropedrum, loadbeam, buffer, LT & CT etc., corrective maintenance of trouble free working of all electrical connections in panels/wiring/contactor/drive/fuse link/MCB, Terminal, Bus bars testing and functioning of all parameters like CT/LT and Hoisting checking and functioning of gear box, push buttons/station limit switches on both of CT & LT, radio remote control switches also included topup gear oil/lubrication system & greasing of all rotating parts wherever applicable, repair and replacement of spares in place of old unserviceable items of EOT cranes/HOT/EOT flame proof cranes of any model of various spares for the following capacities and all as specified and directed. Note : (i) Spares required to maintain the cranes will be measured and paid separately as supply only under relevant item. (ii) Labour element required for spares are deemed to be included in rate quoted. Note: EOT crane inspection to be carried out by authorised crane Technician of OEM, once every month. (iii) EOT crane inspection to be carried out by authorised crane technician of OEM once three month and submitted to Engr-in-charge without failing to submit the report from the authorsied technician double the rate quoted would be recoverd from the quoted rate of each crane job.(iii) Each job is done quaterly.(iv) Job should only measured and paid after informing JE/ Engr-in-Charge before starting job.
