Excavation in trenches not exe 1.5m wide and not exc 1.5 mtr depth for laying cable, pipes etc and not exc 10 sqm on plan and getting out in hard/ dense soil complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm in hard and dense soil.

Removing of excavated material exc 1.5 KM but n exc 5 KM and depositing where directed at a level n exc 1.5m above the starting point.

Riddling Sand obtained from excavation for cable protection 8cm under the cable and 15cm above the cable in trench and get the thick layer of 18cm after ramming. Note :-The rate is deemed to be included for in case sufficient sand not obtained from excavation, the required additional qty obtain from out side land as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Fly ash cable protection cover of any size.

XLPE insulated,screened, PVC Bedded, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cable heavy duty with aluminium condutor 1100Volts grade cross sectional area 150 Sqmm 3.5 core laid in trenches /ducts/fixed to wall/pole/ inside panel/ drawn through pipe including cable glands and terminal sockets, taking down existing cable etc all as specified and directed. Cutting existing road/PCC/Drain for laying of GI or any type of pipe including necessary earth work, excavation exc 600mm depth but not exc 1mtr depth, wide 800mm including making existing surface with PCC 1:2:4 type B1 using 20mm aggregate thickness of concrete is 150mm complete all as specified and directed.

Note for item No 8 :- The tenderer shall take into consideration for following points while quoting his rate for this item and the unite rate is deemed be included for :-

(i) Earth work excavation in any type of soil

Supply only 80 mm bore of pipe high density polyethylene pipes (HDPE) of pressure rating 6 kgf/ cm2 laid in trenches for cable protection passing under road/ floor or for fixing to poles complete all as specified and directed. Note : The unit rate is included for supply only and cutting existing road , excavation, Laying of any type/any bore of pipe in trenches including taking down any description and 150 mm thick PCC 1:2:4 type B1 as in road will be measured and paid separately.

Cable jointing kit for 1.1 KV grade cable for outdoor stright through heat shrink type joint complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3.5 core XLPE armored aluminium conductor cable of size 120 sqmm to 150 sqmm. Make : Reychems, Densons, M Seal

Supply, installation, commissioning and testing of Factory assembled, Floor mounted, free standing, type tested LT Feeder Pillar Panels, with canopy, as per electrical specifications for outdoor installation, to be made of IP65 Polycarbonate modular enclosures. The Enclosures made of Polycarbonate, should be weather/ vermin proof, anti-acid, anti-corrosive, UV resistance in accordance with IEC 61439-1, Fire retardant and Self-extinguishing in accordance with IEC 60695-2-11, UL subject 94 for flammability V-0, should pass glow wire test for 960° in accordance with 60695-2-11. Degree of protection against mechanical load should be IK 08 (5 Joule) in accordance with IEC 62262, IP 65 in accordance with IEC 60529 & IEC60439-1, should have Dielectric Properties, RoHS compliant & Halogen free. The manufacturer of boards/panel shall submit a copy of type test reports as per above-mentioned norms from UL/ERDA/CPRI/NABL labs in India. The panels should be modular and compartmentalized in construction with opaque and transparent doors, properly tightened to base with thermoplastic screws having sealing gaskets of extruded silicon rubber to withstand adverse weather effects. The depth of modular enclosures should be above 200mm for air circulation & to minimize temp rise. Panel should be fitted with 01 No polycarbonate IP 65, 9W LED translucent bulk head luminaire, color temp not less than 6500K, PF > 0.95 under canopy for easy maintenance. Panel should be fitted with 01 No of 16A 3P IP 65 industrial socket and 01 No of 32A 5P IP 65 industrial socket outside. 3 phase and neutral 600 amps current carrying capacity copper bus bar insulated with colour coded heat shinkable sleeves with SMC/ DMC insulators, complete with the following switch gears and mounting the panel board on ground with PCC (1:3:6) bedding upto a height of 45 cm above ground level, including dismantling and taking out old u/s LT Panel Board and remove from site reconnecting existing LT Cables with new panel board complete all as directed :-

Supply and fixing 45 watt LED Inverter RTC Street Light with inbuilt RTC (Real Time Clock) for AUTO ON/ AUTO OFF and shall have inbuilt Li-ion battery of 5200 mAH. Housing made of Pressure Die Cast Aluminium, TOP MAINTAINABLE and with clear heat resistant toughened glass, have secondary lens for better optics, should have Constant current RTC enabled electronic driver with 5 KV SPD, IP66. Street light shall have >1.5 hrs battery backup at inverter load in case of power failure, Efficacy > 100 LPW, CRI > 70, THD <10%, PF >0.95, Cut off Voltage at 300 Volt + 10% and suitable for 50mm mounting pipe. Make :- Halonix Model No : HLSLD-ML04-45-CWL-INV-RTC-R or equivalent in Philips/ Bajaj

Note for item No 21 :- (a) The contractor shall submit to Engr-in-Charge LM-80 and LM-79 report from the NABL approved lab of LED chip used and luminaire respectively. (b) The contractor shall submit warranty certificate from manufacturer for minimum 2 years. (c) The contractor shall also submit test report from the manufacture to comply with all requirements and specifications given in the contract.

Note for item No 24 : (a) The Work shall be carried out through the authorised service engineers of the OEM only). (b) Servicing of Manual operated, 11kV, three position load break switch with snap-action knife blade mechanism along with associated earthing switch. (c) Servicing of true position mechanical indication of switch position ON, OFF and EARTH on the front facia of the panel for proper indication. (d) Checking and tightening control wiring and rectifying the defects if any.

Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of stand alone HT Panel, 11 KV, 3 phase, 50Hz, 630A, 25 KA for 1 sec factory made, out door type cubicale fabricated out of CRCA sheet 3mm thick weather, dust and vermin proof, epoxy powder coated of IP-55 protection class with self contained air insulated compartment for bus bars and cable boxes with necessary support and 630A rated aluminium bus bar including cable galleries and provision of following switch gears including earthing switch, all pre-wiring with PVC copper conductor cable of suitable size including taking down of the unserviceable panel all as specified and as directed as per the below details :-

(a) Manually operated air break, load break switch alongwith earth switch and fuse trip mechanisum of HT HRC fuse - 50A, 230 V AC, Trip Coil and Aux Contact 2 No + 2NC.

Supply, installation, testing & commissioning of maintenance free chemical earthing system comprising 17mm dia copper bonded rod 3 mtr long horizontally pre welded T-terminal rod with provision for connection size of 50 x 150mm long, 6mm thickness with equal space either side, with 12mm dia hole of 02 numbers each on either side of the terminal clamp with 250 microns (average) coating thickness, tested and certified by CPRI India alongwith 50 Kg earth energizer compound and 10 litres earth resistance reducing liquid. The earthing energizer compound and resistance reducing earthing liquid shall be tested as per IEC-62561-7 read with ASTM G57-06, CI 3.4 A by any NABL accredited lab. The above mentioned rod shall be installed in 4-6 inch bore, 12 feet depth with a distance of minimum 3 meters between each installation including taking down existing one all as directed. Make : Model HTSP 317 of safeTrode or equivalent in OBO Betterman/ FURSE/ERICO.

The quoted rate shall also deemed to be included the following :- (i) Prior to installation of maintenance free chemical earthing, soil resistivity test to be carried out at the location where earthing work to be done in presence of Engr-in- Charge/JE (E/M),user and the report has to submit to Garrison Engineer with recommendation of manufacturer, if required additional interconnection of earthing (not more than 04 number of earthing) to achive earth result less then 1 Ohms. The arrangement done for soil resistivity testing and submission of report with recommendation deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

(ii) The description/ size/ qty of items mentioned in above are for indicating only however qty/ size may vary at site condition to maintain the earth resistance 1 ohm. The contractor shall quote rate by considering all factors.

(iii) Rate of earth energizer compound of 25 Kg of 02 bags and earth resistance reducing liquid 10 litre per cane for each pit deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

(iv) Resistivity of earth energizer compound and resistance reducing earthing liquid shall be certified by any NABL accredited lab carried out as per IEC-62561-7 read with ASTMG57-06, CI-3.4A and the certificate of same shall be submitted by the contractor before commencement of work.

(v) Earth enhancing material should not leach into the adjacent soil or underground water channels and its PH valve should be in neutral range complete all as specified and as directed. It should solidify when mixed with water and set like concrete.

(vi) Copper strip of size 20 x 3 mm should be fixed on proper post insulator at the instrument end ( copper strip will be measured and paid separately).

(vii) Testing of earth shall be carried out in presence of departmental and user representative and report shall be submitted to Garrison Engineer duly signed by all concern.

(viii) Earth resistance tester will be provided by the contractor. Tester should be calibrated from authorised company/ lab.

(ix) Earthing shall be tested after completion of work by the contractor in presence of Engr-in-charge, user and proper record shall be maintened duly signed by all concerned. After testing if the desired earth resistance of less than 1 Ohm is not obtained, the earthing will be redone at no extra cost to Govt. till desired result is obtained.

(x) The contractor shall given a written guarantee of minimum three years for maintaining the earth resistance less than 1 Ohm after certified date of completion.

(xi) No further maintenance or periodic watering or recharge shall be required in earthing during its guarantee period of over 03 years in all type of soil including soft/ disintegrated or hard rock.

(xii) During the guarantee period, if earth resistance is not maintained less than 1 ohm the contractor has to redo or rectify at no extra cost to Govt till desired result is mainained.

(xiii) A security deposit of value equal to 2.5 % of the rate quoted for chemical earthing per each earthing shall be retained from payment due to the contractor for the guarantee period.

(xiv) The electrode shall carry manufacturer's name .

(xv) The connection clamp shall be permanentlly welded to the copper bounded rod to avoid any kind of connectivity loss,.The pre-welded copper bounded rod shall not need any additional clamp for termination.

(xvi) The acceptable earth resistance at earth busbar/ test point shall not be more than 0.1 ohm.

(xvii) The contractor shall submit CPRI India certified document for copper bonded rod to ensure genuity of material.

(xviii) Sign board of mild steel 2 mm thick duly painted with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide Zinc chrome primer showing result of earthing should be fixed near the earth pit after completion as directed by engr -in- charge.

(xix) Earth work such as auguring and making good the surrounding area shall carried out in any type of soil.

Copper strip 20 x 3mm thick as earthing lead fixed to wall/roofs etc including taking down existing one all as directed. NOTE : All Joints should be joined by Exothermic Welding or Brazing.

Earth pit cover made of heavy duty poly plastic of high grade polypropylene tested and certified by any NABL accredited lab for load bearing capacity not less than 9.2 tonnes with top dia not less than 250mm, bottom dia not less than 330 mm and height not less than 260 mm dia for each electrode pit complete including taking down all as specified and directed. Make : Model SEPC 250 of SAFE TRODE/ Electrogrip Model/ EGTEK3LC of ISG Global or equivalent in OBO Betterman/ ERICO. Note :- The contractor shall submit load bearing capacity certificate from the manufacturer.

Note for item No 69 :- (a) All Joints should be joined by Exothermic Welding or Brazing.

(b) The rate of earthing strip upto 7.5 mtrs shall be included in the quoted rate and beyond 7.5 mtrs shall be measured and paid separately.

(c) After completion of work earthing shall be tested by the contractor in presence of Engineer-in-Charge, User and proper record shall be maintained duly signed by all concerned.

(d) Earth resistance tester shall be provided by the contractor. It should be caliberated from authorised company/ lab.

(e) After testing if desired earth resistance of less than 5 Ohm is not obtained, the earthing will be redone at no extra cost to Govt till desired result is obtained.

Galvanised Earth Strip of size 25x6mm as earthing lead fixed to wall/roofs etc all as directed. NOTE : All Joints should be joined by Exothermic Welding or Brazing.
