Supply and fixing in repairs Air termination, single pointed, copper rod 12mm dia and 300mm long fixed on galvanised iron pipes with copper/aluminium/GI strip for earth conductivity to ground complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.Note: MS/PCC work shall be measured and paid separately.

Note: 1) MS/PCC work shall be measured and paid separately. 2) Nuts, bolts and washers shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate

Supply and fixing in repair for earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or buried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe or fixed to buildings / equipments / plants or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc. as required for 20 mm x 3 mm thick, copper strip using porcelain clit/post insulators with fixing screw including brazing and nut, bolt at joints complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and fixing in repair for earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or buried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe or fixed to buildings / equipments / plants or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc. as required for 32 mm x 6 mm thick, galvanised iron strip using porcelain clit/post insulators with fixing screw including welding and nut, bolt at joints complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and fixing in repair for earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or buried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe or fixed to buildings / hangar (roof / down conductors) or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc. as required for 25 mm x 3.0 mm thick, aluminium strip using porcelain clit/post insulators with fixing screw including brazing and nut, bolt at joints complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Refixing of old serviceable copper/GI/aluminium strips of any type and size after straightening and dressing and fixing in existing position with new saddle/connector /insulators with screw and making good disturbed strip including taking down existing complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note: saddle/connector /insulators with screw shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

Supply and fixing in repair of saddle/insulator for earth strip with fixing arrangement in roof/ wall conductors of building/ hangar complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and fixing in repair test point terminal block made of gun metal or phosphorous bronze, size 75mm x 75mm x 25 mm thick, drilled and screwed including 3 Nos. 8 mm dia. 25 mm long hexagonal head screws, including MS box 2 mm thick of suitable size for protection of test point terminal, including dismantling of old unserviceable test point complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Material and labour for brazing of broken/ loose connected copper strip of any size and type not exceeding 3.2 cm in length and not exceeding 6 mm in thickness including bringing of necessary machine at site complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Material and labour for brazing of broken/ loose connected aluminium strip of any size and type not exceeding 3.2 cm in length and not exceeding 6 mm in thickness including bringing of necessary machine at site complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supplying and fixing in repairs 20 mm bore, galvanised mild steel pipe /tubing, medium grade complete with all fittings, laid in trenches / floor, fixed to poles/roof/wall with Mild steel clamps , bolts , nuts and washers complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note :- Excavation & Earth work shall be measured and paid separately)

Supplying and fixing in repairs 40 mm bore, galvanised mild steel pipe /tubing, light grade complete with all fittings, laid in trenches / floor, fixed to poles/roof/wall with Mild steel clamps , bolts , nuts and washers complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note :- Excavation & Earth work shall be measured and paid separately)

Supply and fixing in repairs Plug type bib tap 15 mm bore cast iron, screwed for iron pipe and fixed complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Excavation in trenches not exc 1.5 mtr wide and not exc 1.5 mtr in depth; for trench of cable etc and getting out in Soft/loose soil, making the surface plain complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Removing excavated material to a distance n.exc 50 mtr and depositing where directed at level n.exc 1.5 mtr above the starting point complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm in Soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and Fixing in repair Gl funnel with wire mesh for earthing pits with proper existing size for fixing complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Material and labour for dismantling of PCC earth pit chamber and making new PCC earth pit chamber of size as per electrical plate No. 3 of SSR-2009 Part-I with PCC (1:2:4) type B1 with pre cast cover RCC (1:2:4) type B-1 cover slab of size 540 mm x 540 mm x 50 mm with 8 mm dia TMT bar @150 center to center both ways with one handle for lifting made out of 8mm dia mild steel bar with wire mesh funnel including excavation and earth work as required at site complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. (Note: Excavation, earthwork is deemed to be included in quoted rate by contractor)

Dismantling taking down old cross arms, clamps, braces etc of any section from pole, building, PCC or any other indicated situation including nuts, bolts, washers complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note - Cost of cutting of bolts (Slag bolts) if reqd shall deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted for this item.

M&L Mild steel cross arms, bracings, supports, clamps, and back plates fabricated from structural steel sections including nuts, bolts, washers , welding, bending, cold or hot , drilling holes for bolts , in any shape or size as indicated or directed and inclusive of two coats of aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide primer after preparation of surface

Material and labour for writing letters or figures ( Block , Roman, Italic or Indian ) n exc 30 cm high with thick synthetic enamel paint with out showing signs of brushes mark ( if necessary they shall be repainted until the desired result obtained) complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Material and labour for PCC 1:2:4 type B 2 (using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregate) for foundation to support pipe/angle as required on site complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Taking down old unserviceable Earthing pit of any type with accessories including removing of demolished material from work site at any distance out side MD land complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Material and labour for Earthing complete with copper earth plate electrode 600 mm x 600 mm x 3.00mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 m deep below the normal ground level) with top edge of plate not less than 1.5m below normal ground level and the earth plate surrounded by adequate quantity of charcoal dust and common salt to a packed thickness of 15 cm on all sides, connected to copper earth lead strip of size 20 mm x 3 mm thick by means of brazing, bolts, nut, check nuts and washers made out of brass and connected to main switch board/panel/test point all as shown in electrical plate No 3 of SSR part 1. complete all as specified and directed including testing on completion. Notes:- 1) The unit rate also including for excavation, earth work in any type of strata, PCC 1:3:6 mix, Type C1 pit, pre cast cover RCC (1:2:4) type B-1 cover slab of size 540 mm x 540 mm x 50 mm with 8 mm dia TMT bar @150 center to center both ways with one handle for lifting made out of 8mm dia mild steel bar, 20 mm bore galvanised iron pipe 'medium grade' for watering, funnel, wire mesh and 40 mm bore galvanised iron pipe "light grade" for protection of earth lead connection 2) If the earth resistance less than 5 ohm is not found, earthing shall be redone by the contractor at no extra cost to the department.

Material and labour for recharging of earthing pits by filling of magnesium sulphate, 100% water soluble fertilizer type in earthing pits complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. (Note:- Recharging materials shall be soluble in water and to be filled/ poured in earth pit after mixing in water in appropriate quantity.)
