SCHEDULE 'A' PART-I (B/R WORKS)

Demolition of brick work or stone / boulder masonary or precast concrete block walling , built in cement mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars, etc but exclusing ashlar facings, dressed stoneswork and precast concrete articles complete all as direcetd.

Dismantling wrought iron or mild steel work of any description not otherwise provided for complete all as specified & as directed.

Dismantling structural steel work including doors, gates but excluding framed truss etc complete all as directed.

Demolition of reinforced cement concrete of any description (reinforcement cut as required to facilitate demilition) and in any position not otherwise specifically provided for complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition to cement concrete (un-reinforced) of any description and in any position not otherwise specifically provided for complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling old PGI/CGI sheeting any gauge, thickness including Nainital. Sikkim or similar pattern roof/facia including ridge etc and keeping serviceable sheets in safe custody for re-use complete all as directed.

Dismantling of wall and ceiling board (fibre pulp, insulation etc.,) /AC sheets and plywood any thickness and cover fillets and removal of dismantled materials/rubbish from site complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling timber scantlings in fillets, rails, posts, rafters, purlins etc under 40 Sqcm in section complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking down chowkats with shutter of any description (without taking down shutter from the frame) exc. 1.5 Sqm and n.exc 4.00 Sqm each and removing from site complete all as directed.

All as per item no 10 here-in- but n.exc 1.5 sqm each.

Surfaces excavation n. exc 30 cm deep and averaging 15 cm deep and getting out in soft/loose soil, complete all as specified and as directed.

Excavation in trenches not exc. 1.5 metre wide and not exc. 1.5 metre in depth and getting out as in soft/loose soil for foundation etc complete all as directed by the Engr-in-Charge.

Excavation over areas, n.exc 1.5m deep and getting out as in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for pre cast cement concrete block masonry with solid blocks, exc. 10 cm in width and settting in cement mortar 1:6 with PCC (1:3:6) type C1 (using 20 mm graded stone aggregate) as per IS 383 complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for brick work subclass "B" bricks using old size bricks, straight curved on plan to any radius, built in CM 1:4 as in half brick thick wall complete all as specified and as directed.

Roughning surfaces of old concrete floor by picking, sweeping clean and washing down with water to remove dust, etc complete all as directed.

Taking down cement plaster of any description on brick or stone walls, including racking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water etc complete all as specified and directed by the Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for rendering 15mm thick in cement mortar (1:6) on fair face of brick/stone masonry surface finished even & fair complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for rendering 15mm thick in cement mortar (1:4) with using WPC @ 3% shall be mixed with cement mortar in finishing outer layer, on other than fair face of brick/stone masonry surfaces (external surfaces) finished surface fair and even with out using extra cement complete all as specified and as directed. Note :- WPC shall be measured and paid separately as supply only.

M&L for rendering 20mm thick in cement mortar (1:4) with using WPC shall be mixed with cement mortar in finishing outer layer only as per manufacturer instruction, on other than fair face of brick/stone masonry surfaces (external surfaces) finished surface fair and even with out using extra cement complete all as specified and as directed. Note :- WPC shall be measured and paid separately as supply only.

M&L for rendering 15mm thick CM (1:4) admixed with integral waterproofing agent FOSROC conpast x 42 11C confirming to IS-2645-2003 @ 150 ml per 50 Kg bag of cement on old wall over a coat of FOSROC Nit Cote CM-210 2 Kg/Sqm all as per manufactuers instructions directed & specfied.

Supply only integral Water Proofing Compound, conforming to IS-2465-2003 of approved make complete all as specified and as directed.

Material & labour for mild steel TMT bars 10mm dia over as in stirrups, spacers and binders cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns , hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9 mm dia or securing with clips complete all as specified & as directed.

Material & labour for mild steel TMT bars 6mm to 8mm dia as in stirrups, spacers and binders cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns , hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9 mm dia or securing with clips complete all as specified & as directed.

S&F rolled mild steel section as in main and cross beams, hip and jack rafters; purlins where connected to common rafters and running rails and guides for sliding doors; fixed with angle cleat or other connecting plates conforming to Fe-410-W(Gde-E-250 quality-A) including one coat of red oxide zinc chrome primer after preparation of surfaces at contractor's workshop before fabrication complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F mild steel framed work such as grills, gratings, etc. With ends of bars shouldered and/or riveted, or forged into spikes, framed balusters; walk ways; railings, framework of water tanks and similar work conforming to Fe 290 Gde-E-165 complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply & fix mild steel flat iron bent to shape, holes drilled etc complete as in wind ties or as in hold fast, clamps, supports for rainwater, ventilating pipes, including bolts, if required; hooks (stay), etc and similar small articles conforming to Fe-290 Gde-E-165 including one coat of red oxide primer complete all as directed.

Supply and fix 0.50mm thick pre-painted galvalume aluminium zinc coating GI based corrugated steel sheets of trapozoidal profile & of any colour as approved having tensile strength of 550 Mpa as in roof covering fixed with self tapping screws as in roof complete all as specified and directed by the Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and fix 0.50mm thick pre-painted galvalume aluminium zinc coating GI based plain steel sheets of any colour having tensile strength of 550 Mpa as in ridges, valley, eaves, etc fixed with self tapping screws complete all as specified and directed by the Engr-in-Charge

Materials & labour for 0.63mm thick CGI sheeting , ISI marked with 275 grams per sqm zinc coating with two corrugation side laps fixed with 'L' type or 'J' type or cranked hook bolt and washers in roof covering / walls etc etc complete all as specified & as dirceted.

S&F 1.0 mm thick galvanised class 3 half round plain mild steel sheeting as in eaves board made to shape including fixing with clamps on position complete as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

S&F in repairs powder coated GI grid frame work for false ceiling comprising of the following sections for making partition of 600 x 600mm size fixed to walls with rawl plugs and screws and hanged to roof with and including 2mm dia GI wire suspender of suitable length and buterfly clips, size of main tee shall be 24mmx 28mm x 3mm thick, cross tee shall be 24 x 28 x.3mm thick and wall angle shall be 24mm x 24mm x 3mm thick complete all as per manufacturer's instructions specified and directed.

Suply and fix 4mm thick Non asbestos fibre cement building boards (E- board) of approved texture, for insulation and acoustic purpose of size 595 x 595 mm size fixed with staples on snap grid as in ceiling with and including dusting of surfaces and applying two coats of oil emulsion distemper over a coat of primer including preparation of surfaces complete all as per manufacturers instructions specifed and directed by the Engr-in -Charge.

S&F in repair 25mm dia aluminium powder coated fancy curtain rod plain or colour as approved with teak wood finish brackets and knobs complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for RCC M-25 (Design Mix) as in beams, cantilever, bressumers, lintel over 1.50m span complete all as specified and as directed. Note : Reinforcement shall be measured and paid separately.

M&L for RCC(Nominal Mix) 1:2:4 type B0 (using 12.5mm graded stone aggregate) as in chajja and the like work complete all as specified and as directed. Note : Reinforcement shall be measured and paid separately.

M&L for providing cement concrete (1:2:4), type B1, (using 20 mm graded aggregate) as in lintels upto 1.5m clear span, cills, steps; seismic and other similar bands,plinth courses, string courses,lacing courses, parapets and railings upto 60 cm in height,copings, kneelers, apex stones,bed plates including necessary formwork complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for reinforced cement concrete (nominal mix) 1:2:4 type B-1 (20 mm graded aggregate nominal mix) in beams, cantilevers, bressummers, lintels over 1.5 m span complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for providing 25 mm thick PCC 1:2:4 type B-0 ( using 12.5 mm aggregates) mixed with water proofing compound @ 3% by weight of cement and finished rough to receive floor finishes such as tiles etc complete all as specified and as directed.

Cutting holes in stone wall built in cement mortar or in cement lime mortar for inserting holdfast /purlin/refater etc and making good dismantled portion in cement mortar 1:3 or cement conc 1:2:4 type B1 as required exc half brick wall but n exc one brick complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for plain cement concrete 1:3:6 type C-2 (using 20 mm graded stone aggregate) as in fixing in hold fast, bed blocks and similar work including necessary for work as required complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for 2nd class hard wood timber scantling fixed in frame clean swan including treating with raw linseed oil as in unframed work complete all as specified & as directed.

S&F 2nd class hard wood Plain, solid, straight chowkats and frames, wrought, framed rebated on the solid, rounded or chamfered, put together with glue pinned at joints, complete all as specified and as directed.

S & F of 12 mm thick laminated glass consisting of two or more glass lit bonded togther by a sheet of polyvinyl butyral (PVB) plastic inter layer between each glass lit provides numerous advantages for particularits safety aspect. The laminated safety glass tested in accordance with AS/NZS 2008:1996, complete all as specified and as directed. Make :- Saint Gobain or equivalent approved.

S & F in repairs aluminum powder coated 3 track sliding windows frame of size 65 mmx 25 mm x 1.5 mm thick or appropriate equivalent section and shutter of section 20 mm x 40 mm x 1.50 mm thick or appropirate equivalent section fixed with 5 mm thick tinted sheet glass of area not exc 1.0 sqm on each pane with neoprene rubber gasket packing, handle, locking arrangement etc as external window shutter and provide 20 mm x 40 mm x1.5 mm thick flyproof window incl fixed with 0.36 mm nominal dia of wire stainless steel wireclothes with aperature 1.4 mm and fixed with stainless steel wire stapple etc complete all as shown on TD drawings & specified and as directed. Make of Aluminium : Jindal or equivalent approved.

S&F in repairs factory made steel ventilator with top hung shutter including hinges with fixed type MS handles, peg stay and tower bolt, complete all as specified and directed complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F in repairs factory made steel windows with side hung shutters openable type including friction/box type hinges, steel handle and peg stay complete with glazing bars including a shop coat of primer complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F of factory made steel windows with side hung shutters openable type including friction/box type hinges, steel handle and peg stay complete without glazing bars including a shop coat of primer including complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix 50 mm thick 2nd class hard wood clean sawn boards or planks,width nexc. 20 cm in roof celing complete all as specified and as directed.

Use & waste of form work to chajjas & like works including edges rough finished surface of concrete flat complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for preparation of newly plastered surfaces of walls and applying two coats of weather coat exterior acrylic emulsion paint white or tinted over a coat of primer as per manufacturer's instruction complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparation of newly plastered surfaces of walls and applying two coats of distemper oil emulsion , white or tinted over a coat of Birla white wall care putty of required thickness as per manufacturers instruction complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparation of old plastered surface and applying two coats of oil bound distemper over a coat of birla white wall care putty of required thickness as per manufacturers instruction complete all as specified and directed.

Use & waste of formwork to sides and soffits of floor ,roof beam,beam haunching girders, lintels, cantiliver shelves including support overhang etc also splay floor and beam etc rough finish surface complete all as specified and as directed,

Use & waste of form work to sides of pillars, post, struts , piers, columns and atancjions for rough finished surfaces of concrete complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for two coats of synthetic varnishing on new wooden surface of any description, width or girth including cleaning and preparing the surface with a coat of wood filler complete all as directed.

M&L for preparation of new or previously untreated wooden surfaces of any description over 10 cm width or grith and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over one coat of pink primer complete all as specified & as directed.

M&L for Dark/Light shade Vitrified ceramic tiles 10mm thick (Square/Rectangular) polished, area of each tiles not exceeding 0.36 Sqm, in verticle surfaces such as skirting/dado etc. Set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match over and including 10mm thick screed bed/backing layer in cement mortar 1:4 complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Dark/Light shade Vitrified ceramic tiles 10mm thick (Square/Rectangular) polished, area of each tiles not exceeding 0.36 Sqm, as in floor etc., set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match over and including 15mm thick screed bed/bedding layer in cement mortar (1:6) complete all as specified and as directed.

Material & labour for coloured glazed ceramic tiles of size (300x200mm/350x250mm/450x350mm) of 7mm thick, as in vertical surfaces such as skirting/dado/riser to steps etc conforming to IS-13712 grade IB-III set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match the shade of tiles over and including cement screed bed/backing layer of 10mm thick in cement mortar (1:4) complete all as specified and as directed.

Material & labour for non skid coloured ceramic tiles of 7 to 8mm thick ( Square/rectangular) area of each tile exc 0.11 Sqm but not exc 0.18 Sqm as in floors etc conforming to IS-13712, grade B-II-(a) set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match the shade of tiles laid over and including cement screed bed/bedding layer of 15mm thick in cement mortar (1:6) complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for 35mm thick 2nd class hard wood well seasoned glazed and skeleton shutters, open rebated and prepared to receive glass, gauze, etc (without sash bars), edges of framing plain, chamfered or rounded, fitted with cut and mittred beads for securing glass, etc, size of members of shutter as specified in SSR Part I, Section8, Clause 8.20 (a) complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for 35mm thick 2nd class HW plain, framed, paneled shutters (two panel) with lock rail and panel of 9mm thick BWP commerical ply or 12mm veneered particle board with commercial face veneering on both faces. The size of rail & stile as per IS : 1003 (Part-I), Kiln, seasoned & chemically pressure, treated complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F 100 mm long butt hinges, medium weight, cold rolled, mild steel complete all as specified.

S & F in repair floor door stopper of aluminium alloy anodised with rubber at bottom of required size fixed in door with screws etc all as specified and as directed.

S&F Stainless Steel Wire Cloth 0.36mm nominal dia of Wire and average width of aperture 1.40mm and fixed with Stainless Steel Wire Staples and fixed, complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F of factory made solid PVC door frame of size 50mm x 47mm made out of 5mm thick single side prelaminated PVC sheet reinforced with mild steel square tube and edges will be painted to match with single side prelaminated sheet as per specification and drawing given on Sl Page No. 160, MES Schedule Part-II(2010) complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix factory made solid panel PVC door shutter 30mm thick (style) consisting of frame made out of MS tubes for top & bottom rails, MS frame shall be covered with heat moulded wood grain finished colour PVC 'C' channel having a PVC sheet strip of 20mm width stuck inside with solvent cement for stiles and plain colour PVC sheets for top rail, lock rail &bottom rail on either side & as gap insert for top rail & bottom rail panel will be of wire gauze in lieu of wood grain PVC sheet panel. The wire gauze shall be wrapped on additional square 8mm MS solid tube and this tube will be welded to MS tube. The wire gauge shall be stretched to tighten firmly and all as per specification and as specified and as per drawing on Sl page No 159 of SSR Part II.

Supply and fixing in repair star white vitreous china wash down water closet pan (pedestal pattern) EWC, of size 520x360x390 mm with 'P' or 'S' trap, including fixing bolts, Plastic water closet seat and cover, closed pattern with flat bottom, and mild steel chromium plated or aluminised hinging device, making all necessary connections complete all as specified and as directed. Make : ESSCO Cat part No. ECS-WHT-551PS or equivalent approved.

Supply and fix in repair Vitreous China squatting pan of 'Orissa pattern' , of size 580 mm x 440mm (white) with integral foot rest 'P' or 'S' trap,front or back inlet, any pattern (excluding flushing cistern and flush pipe) including connection to trap and flushing pipe anti syphon pipe etc complete including provision of PCC(1:3:6) type B1 bedding and connection to trap,and to flushing pipe,antisyphonage pipe,etc. complete including making good to floor all as specified and directed by the Engr-in-Charge. Make Cera Cat No.COVY S3010104 or equivalent approved.

Supply and fix 10 litre capacity low level PVC flushing cistern(white), syphonic action type, with inlet, ball valve, float, handle, fixed with cast iron bracket (of suitable size) and providing 32mm dia PVC flush pipe and making all necessary connections complete all as specified and as directed. Make : ESSCO Cat part no. WHE-WHT-183L or equivalent approved make complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix PVC connections 15mm size with PTMT/Brass nuts of length 450mm complete all as directed by the Engr-in-Charge. Make Prayag Cat No. 323 or equivalent approved.

S&F 15mm bore stop cock, cast copper alloy, chromium plated with long shank and cut (concealed type), screwed down, screwed for Iron pipe or union and fixed in repair complete as specified and as directed. Make - Jaquar continental series CAT No. ALD-087 FT & CON-087FTK or equivalent approved make.

Supply & fix Bib tap, long body cast copper alloy, chromium plated with crutch or butterly handle, screwed down for 15mm bore GI pipe or for brass ferrule including taking down old unserviceable one. Make : Jaquar Code : CON -107 KN or equivalent approved make.

Supply and fix vitreous china, white colour flat back, wash hand basin of size 55 x 40 x 79cm fixed with brackets, including providing 32 mm bore PVC waste pipe, 32 mm bore CP waste coupling and making all necessary connectrions complete as directed. Make : Cera Model CORNET Cat No 1008 or equivalent approved .

S&F in 15mm bore pillar taps, fancy type with long neck with aerator cast copper alloy with capstan head chromium plated, screwed down, high pressure with long screwed shanks, fly-nuts with screwed for GI pipe complete all as specified and as directed. Make : Jaquar Code CON-CHR-021 KN or equivalent approved make.

S&F 3 mm thick figured glass, pin head type and glazing with oil putty in squares not exc.0.5 sqm in pane complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix in repair vitreous china, white colour, flat back, wash hand basin of size 55cm x 40cm x 79 cm fixed with brackets, including providing 32mm dia PVC waste pipe, 32mm bore CP waste coupling with or without padestal and making all necessary connections complete all as specified and as directed. Make : ESSCO Cat part No. ECS-WHT-803 or equivalent approved

M&L for preparation of new or previously untreated steel surfaces of any description over 10 cm width or girth and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over one coat of red oxide primer complete all as directed.

M&L for applying two coat of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer to new steel surface of any description n.exc 10 cm girth or width including preparation of new steel surfaces complete all as specified and directed

Material & labour for cutting into existing manholes for connecting new drains (internal dia pipe 110mm), making good to pipe and rendering, cutting out existing benching for and forming branch channel (1/2 round or 3/4 section) in cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-1 smooth finished and reforming benching complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix galvanised steel water tubing 15mm bore medium grade with all fittings and fixed complete to walls/ceiling or laid in floors complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix PVC (SWR) pipes 110mm bore, single socketed, in any length with rubber ring joints fixed to wall with clamps etc or in trenches complete all as specified and directed by the Engr-inCharge. Make :- Prince/Supreme or equivalent approved.

S&F 75mm bore, PVC(SWR) pipes, single socketed in any length with rubber rings joints, laid in trenches or under floors, fixed on walls with necessary clips complete all as specified and as directed. Make :- Prince/Supreme or equivalent approved.

Supply and fix 110 mm bore PVC (SWR) bend of any radius for PVC (SWR) pipes, fixed to walls or fixed to steel gutter complete all as directed. Make :- Prince/Supreme or equivalent approved.

Supply and fix 75 mm bore PVC (SWR) bend of any radius for PVC (SWR) pipes, fixed to walls complete all as directed. Make :- Prince/Supreme or equivalent approved.

Supply & fix in repair 110 mm bore PVC (SWR) vent cowl fixed in position complete all as specified and directed. Make :- Prince/Supreme or equivalent approved.

Supply & fix 110mm bore PVC(SWR) junction single, (Single T) equal or unequal complete all as specified and as directed. Make :- Prince/Supreme or equivalent approved.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cms in thick as in soft/loose soils complete all as specified and as directed..

Removing excavated material/soil to a distance n.exc 50m and depositing where directed at a level n.exc 1.5 mtr above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed.

Material & labour for hardcore of gauge n.exc 63mm (using broken stone or boulders) deposited , spread and levelled in layers not exc 15cm thick, watered and rolled/rammed to a true surface complete all as specified and as directed.

Material & labour for PCC (1:4:8), type D-2 (using 40mm graded stone aggregate) as in foundations, filling and mass concrete complete all as specified & as directed.

M&L for 75mm thick PCC (1:3:6), type C-2 (using 40mm graded stone aggregate) as in plinth protection; path/hardstanding etc laid in bays/panels not exc. 2.00 Sqm each including construction joints as suitable interval and each corner and filled with bituminous mastic filling (1 part bitumen & 3 part sand) and finished the surface even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for 30 mm thick PCC (1:2:4) type B-1 (using 20 mm graded stone aggregate) as in floor finished surface fair and even complete all as specified and as directed.

Providing 75mm thick PCC 1:3:6 type C-2 (using 40mm graded stone aggregates) finished rough to receive floor finishes such as tiles etc complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repair CI Nahani Trap, 100mm diametre of outlet, with gratings, including jointing to waste pipe fixed in PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) complete all as specified and as directed.

Excavation in post holes (or similar holes) in soft/loose soil each n.exc 0.5 cum, getting out, returning, filling in and ramming earth or broken rubble mixed with earth around, in layers n.exc 25 cm and removing surplus soil to a distance n.exc 50 mtrs complete all as specified and directed by the Engr-in-Charge

Material & labour for PCC 1:3:6 type C-2 (using 40mm graded stone aggregate) as in foundations filling and mass concrete etc complete all as specified & as directed.

M&L for lacquer coated coloured chequered cement concrete tiles of size 300mmx300mmx25mm thick set, jointed and pointed in neat slurry in floors and steps with grey cement and pigments over and incluidng 15mm thick screed bed or bedding layer in cement mortar (1:6) complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for providing and laying of 25 mm thick spark proof mastick flooring confirming to IS 8374 and other relevant specification on concrete surfaces and floor surface cleaning, applying one coat of priming bitumen primer @ 0.3 kg/Sqm using blown bitumen on concrete on surface before spark proof mastic flooring complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for PCC (1:3:6) type C-2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate as in surface channels and drains including forming fair finished to drain channel complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Extra for forming fair finished drain or channel 30cm inner girth in cement concrete using extra cement including form, moulds, mitrred/stopped ends complete all as specified and as directed.
