REPAIR TO BED HARD WITH PLY TOP ( FD-246/247) :

S&F in replacement of unserviceable top of bed Hard Plytop/Newar to be made of 12 mm thick (7 Ply) commercial plywood , BWR grade, confirming to IS 303-1989 and ISI marked and to be fixed with 25 mm long steel screw without having any joints, Make of ply : Kit Ply/Green ply/Century shape and size, as per drg and directed by Engr-in-charge.

S&F in replacement of unserviceable long rail shall be First class hardwood well seasoned teak wood free from cracks and dead knots, shape and size, all as on drg and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

All as per Srl Item No. 1.02 above but Short Rail/Stiffener.

HEAD REST : Unserviceable ply to be replaced by 3 mm thick ply wood both sides of Head Board one side teak faced and other side commercial plywood BWR grade general purpose type confirming to IS 303-1989 and ISI marked including teak wood beading all around and 1/2 cut 12 mm dia beading made to shape as shown on drg or directed by Engr-In-Cahrge.

FOOT REST : All as per Srl Item No. 1.04 above but foot rest.

HEAD REST : Dismantling of unserviceable Head rest of Bed ply top, S&F new Head rest complete (well finished with polishing) of bed ply top along with MS angle strip of size 4'x4'x6mm, suitable type of MS Screws and as per drg and as directed by Engr-in-Charge

FOOT REST : All as per Srl Item No. 1.06 above but foot rest.

S&F of MS corner bracket in right angled shape of size 4"x4", 6 mm thick with Six holes duly painted with black enamel paint after applying the one coat of red oxide primer with suitable MS Screws to the bed as directed by the Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for removing the existing broken or unserviceable components of wooden furniture items as given below from Srl No. 3.00 to 5.00 including preparation, S&F New Ist class hard wood well seasoned teakwood free from cracks and dead knots including two coats of french polish to all replaced components complete to match the original all as specified in drawings and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge :

S&F drawer to be made of sides and back of 12 mm thick teakwood Plank , bottom of 6 mm thick commercial plywood , Front of 18 mm thick prelaminated ext grade MDF board whatever shown on drg including SS knobs/Handles as approved by Engr-in-Charge.

S&F in replacement of unserviceable back ply shall be 6 mm commercial ply BWR of size as existing.

Supplying and fixing in replacement foam cushion (ISI Marked IS-1741) (Make : Sleep Well/Kurl-On) 10 Nos in each set for sofa 3 pieces, 5 seater. Size of cushion 22"x21"x4" thick foam of 40 density for seat & back covered with superior quality tapestry cloth not less than Rs. 180/- per metre as approved by GE/Engr-in-charge. NOTE: The foam cushion in original packing with warranty card and tapestry cover (with zip opening system) shall be brought seperately at furniture yard and after inspection the same shall be fixed.

REPAIR TO CHARPOY IP WITH HARD TOP (FD/MAP-II/01)-

Removing of old unserviceable ply top from existing charpoy and S&F the new 12mm thick BWR commercial plywood with unpolished edging(ISI marked) suitable for charpoy having approximante size 1980mm x 900mmx12mm with mild steel galvanised iron nuts and bolts with GI washer (Heavy Weight) complete including tightening of loose joints with gass welding of existing frame before fixing the ply all as per drg amnd as directed. (Make of Plywood :- Green ply/Archid/Kit Ply/Century Ply.)

Repairs of damaged parts, scraping of existing coat of paints filing, finishing and painting of Charpoy IP with two coats of synthetic enamel paint of approved shade (make Berger/AsianPaint) after giving a primer coat with red oxide and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

S&F hard PVC shoes of best quality as approved by Engr-in-Charge.

REPAIR TO CHARPOY GI PIPE WITH PLY TOP (FD-220)

S&F 12 mm thick plywood commercial type BWR grade size 1950mmx900mmx12mm thick (in one piece only) as top of the charpoy GI Pipe with mild steel Screw bolt (Machine made) of size 75 mm long, 6 mm thick with hexagonal or square head at one end and screw the other with washer, including removal of old unserviceable ply top complete all as per specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

M&L dismantling of existing unserviceable/broken long rail and S&F new long rail of GI pipe medium grade 32 mm size bore duly ISI marked including threading at both ends complete all as specified and directed.

M&L dismantling of existing unserviceable/broken short rail and cutting of old long rail obtained from Srl No 8.02 to the required size for short rail including threading at both ends complete all as specified and directed .

Removing of Old unserviceable legs of Charpoy and S&F of new legs made out of old broken short rails retrieved from item Sr No 8.03 here-in-before by cutting and threading at one end and fixing 3mm thick base MS circular plates of 55mm dia duly painted at other end as directed by Engr - in - Charge.

Supply and fixing MS Iron Strips 08 Nos of size 50mmx6mm, 75mm long duly holed/drilled for tightening plywood and strip with countersunk screws/suitable nuts, bolts and washers and welded to rails of charpoys each side 02 Nos strips including two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide/primer, complete all as directed by the Engineer - in- Charge. Note : One Number of MS flat iron strip 50mmx6mmx75mm long is measured as one unit.

Supply and fixing flat MS iron 02 Nos of size 50mmx6mm thick , 900 mm long providing 02 Nos of holes /drilled in each flat iron for tightening plywood on flat iron along with long rail with countersunk screws/suitable nuts & bolts with washers on both sides of flat MS iron and including preparation of surface and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide/primer, Complete all as directed by the Engineer - in- Charge. M&L for dismantling of existing unserviceable elbow GI three way and S&F new elbow GI three way suitable for GI Pipe med grade 32 mm bore pipe complete all as specified and directed .

S&F in replacement of unserviceable check nut 6 mm thick suitable for 32 mm bore GI pipe charpoy of approved make complete all as specified and directed .

REPAIR TO FOOT BOARD :All as per Srl item No. 9.02 but for foot board.

M&L, scraping of existing coat of paints complete filling, finishing and painting of Bed Hard steel with two coats of synthetic enamel paint of approved shade (Make: Berger/ Asian Paint) with spray after applying a coat of red oxide primer and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

S&F new PVC hard Rubber Shoes as per drg or as directed by the Engr-in-Charge.

REPAIR TO LOCKER BED SIDE STEEL FD-1029/54(M)

M&L dismentling of existing unserviceable Handles and S&F new handles CP steel 75mm long with suitable SS screws of approved quality complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

M&L dismentling of existing unserviceable Hasp and Stapple and S&F new Hasp & staple of size 75x40x3mm thick stainless steel with suitable bolt and nuts complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

M&L dismentling of existing unserviceable legs and S&F of new bottom legs duly painted with two coats of synthetic enamel paint of existing color over a coat of red oxide primer be of 1 mm thick PBI sheet by welding and finishing with mild grinding as per drg and as directed by the Engr-in-Charge.

Dismentling of unserviceable locking asembly with complete mechanism and S&F new MS locking assemly with base plate (Complete mechanism) with upper and lower bars with brass lock as shown in drg or as directed by Engr-in Charge.

Dismentling of existing unserviceable CP handles and S&F new CP handles of approved quality in Godrej Pattern for Srl No. 10.00, 11.00 & 12.00 as specified and approved by Engr-in-Charge.

Dismentling of unsrvicable locks of Almirah Med/Large with shelves/Locker Steel(TP) and S&F new locks of approved make as specified and shown in drg.

S&F of cleats shall be made of 2 mm thick MS Steel made to shape and fix in the Almirah to support the shelves for items Srl No. 11.00 & 12.00 complete as directed

(The seat and back shoes if replaced shall be paid separately under respective items of Schedule ‘A’ here in after as supply only.) The cost of steel nut and bolts, welding of frame where required etc shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rates of this item.

S&F handle of chair easy of size 610 x60 mm made of 18/19 mm thick pre-laminated MDF board (Exterior grade) of approved shade duly beading with 12 mm thick half round teak wood shall be provided all around with 4 mm dia bolt and nuts with smooth finished edging all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Bench Steel (TP)

S & F in replacement of unserviceable wooden planks with new wooden planks size of 1800 x 380 x 20 mm made of first class hard wood fixed to frame ( all-round) with nut, bolts and washer size of 4 mm x 50 mm (Eight Nos nut, bolts and washer for each bench) and All exposed surfaces of wood work shall be treated with French Polish high gloss best quality complete all as specified and as shown on drawing and directed by Engr -in -charge.
