Annual Maintenance of 132KV Transmission Lines under ETSD Sarsol under ETD I Aligarh

Regular tower to tower ground quarterly patrolling of different 132 KV S/C & D/C Lines includes detection of defects like missing /theft tower members, hot point, puncture disc insulator , dislocation of vibration dampers/damaged conductor/earthwire, checking of foundation & position of trees in the corridor of 27 meter of the line, patrolling shall be done on Bimonthly basis i.e. 6 times in a year & provide patrolling report in triplicate in hard copy. a. 132 KV Sarsol-Harduaganj line. 15.34KM b. 132 KV Sarsol-Atrauli line. 30.75KM c. 132 KV Iglas-Khair line. 30.30KM d. 132 KV Iglas-Mitai line. 27.30KM e. 132 KV Boner-Aligarh-III line with LILO portion. 23.30KM f. 132 KV Hathras-Aligarh-III line without LILO portion. 23.70KM g. 132 KV Sarsol-Aligarh-III line with LILO portion. 10.60KM h. 132 KV Khair-Aligarh-III line without LILO portion. 16.80KM

Tower top patrolling of line of faulty section to ascertain the faults like polluted insulators, defective insulators fittings, red hot jumpers and tightening of jumpers(once in a year).

Emegency patrolling of above lines during tripping to detect the exact fault location & type of fault or as per direction of engineer incharge.

Leg repairing of towers by breaking of chimney 700 mm below ground and 300 mm above ground level on various towers of lines, proper cleaning of stub with hard wire brush etc. to remove complete concrete & then making holes in the stubs and nut, bolts and welding & painting with zink rich primer and then making chimney 1:2:4 cement, fine sand & 20mm stone granite up to length of at least 1000 mm with proper curing & all other associated works to complete the job satisfactorily as per technical specification including cost of all material, labour and T&P etc. but excluding cost of GI angle pieces, nuts and bolts etc.

Looping & chopping of different types of trees of following sizes falling in the range of line corridor with all due care of safety and precautions to avoid any damage to nearby buildings, crops and power/telephone lines passing near vicinity of the trees up to 1.0 Meter dia. Girth/Trunk. 1- Tree Branches up to 0.35 to 0.5 mtrs. Dia

Clearing of the nest from the towers formed by birds

Clearing of accumulated soil around tower legs above chimney. Painting of tower each leg 300mm length above chimney by Zink rich paint of standard quality after cleaning rust of leg by ambry cloth to maintain the strength of legs by restricting the rusting of legs due to accumulation of soil snd water logging during rainy season.

Checking &Tighting of Panthor conductor jumper on both ends of tension tower.(once in a year)

jumper replacement or strengthening by using PG clamp/Jumper cone on tension tower , PG clamp or Jumper cone will be provided by Deptt.
