MISCELLANEOUS ITEMS REQUIRED FOR B/R & E/M SERVICES (Sch 'A' Part-XVI)

SITE CLEARANCE AND SITE DEVELOPMENT Bringing approved earth (as approved by Garrison Engineer) from sources outside defence land including all cost such as royalty if any, transportation, taxes if any etc. complete all as specified and directed. NOTE :- (a) Earth required for the item shall be supplied by contractor from outside of MOD land of any lead, at his own arrangement. (b) All cost of procurement of earth including cost of transportation, compaction royalties, tax etc shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted by the contractor. (c) With reference to Clause 3.6 of MES Schedule Part-II on Serial Page No. 21, it is clarified that measurement of the above item shall be of finished embankment / traverse of filled earth after consolidation / compaction and 10% deduction shall be made from measured and calculated volume to allow for increase in bulk. (d) Total quantitiy / partial quantity of earth may not be available in Bengdubi Area. The contractor shall bring the earth outside area and it is advised to quote the rate considering available of soil and its lead involved.

ROAD, PATH, CULVERT & HARDSTANDING M&L for 3.00 mm thick painting to road surfaces as in lines, dashes, arrows, letters, zebra cross etc, in white/yellow color, on roads, pavements and the like etc with reflactive thermoplastic road marking paint @ 5 Kg/Sqmm and applying glass grit @300 gms/sqm over opainted surfaces while the painting surfaces are hot including cleaning surfaces complete all as specified and directed. NOTE : Painting to road surface shall be carried out through mechanical application by the approved applicator of manufacturers instruction.

Supply and installation of Raised Pavement Marker (RPM) with polycarbonate lens electronically welded with the RPM body. The marker shall be scratch proof and abrasion resistant microprismatic polycarbonate lens with polycarbonate reflective panels with dual prismatic cubescapable providing total internal reflection. Dimension:- The dimension of the marker is height 15.88mm, width 101.6mm, length 89.2mm. The marker conforms to ASTM D4280 and is in accordance with MOSRTH circular reference No. RW/NH 33023/10/97-DO III dated 11 June 1997. Marker shall be fixed with adhesive and no nails shall be used to affix the marker and shall be marked with manufacturer name complete all as specified and directed.

SEWAGE DISPOSAL M&L for 150 mm bore DWCPE (SN-8) pipes with all fittings and laid in trenches and jointed complete all as specified and directed.

EXTERNAL WATER SUPPLY Supply & Laying duclite iron (DI) pipe SS class K-7 laid in trenches under floor / walls / columns etc. of bore size 100 mm, including rubber gasket push on joints complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F ductile iron fitting/flange/SS/bend/reducer 80 to 200 mm dia of different size as required at site and directed.

M&L for construction of brick masonary valve pit of intemal dimensions 900mm x 900 mm x 900 mm complete and fabrication of 3.15 mm thick MS Sheet cover and angle iron frame made out of 40mm x 40mm x 6 mm MS angle iron and one side provided with hinge with locking arrangement & duly painted with two coats of black bituminous paint over a coat of red oxide primer induding necessary earth work and PCC work complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and install testing and commissioning of horizontal monoblock centrifugal pumping Set with suitable capacity motor with copper winding, voltage range 350 to 440 volts, AC 3 Phase, IP 55 Protection, Insulation class 'F', Mechanical sealing, CI motor and Pump body, SS Pump Shaft, cast Impellar mounted on heavy duty bearing alongwith suitable for continuous operation with non-over loading power characteristics for frequent start/stop operation minimum head 36 Mtr and having capacity to discharge water minimum 450 LPM complete with suction and discharge duly mounted on MS frame on foundation / platform grouted with MS bolts, nuts of required size properly connected with suction and delivery water line complete all as specified and as directed including GI Suction pipe medium grade of dia as per suction size of Pump - 04 RM (not exc) for each Pump. The pump and motor shall comply to all the requirements of relevant IS (1W +1S) complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply, install, testing & commissioning of Air release valve, Cast iron, double air outlet, flanged ends,conforming to IS- 14845, 100 mm bore connected to the main line including all jointing materials as required complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply, installation, testing & commissioning CI Foot Valve conforming to IS 4038, 65 mm dia all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing Strainer Y type conforming to IS, size 65 mm dia all as specified and directed.

Supply, install, testing and commissioning of indoor cubical type LT Control Board, factory fabricated CPRI type tested with suitable neoprene rubber gasket to make it completely dust & vermin proof & degree of protection not less than IP-43 & general construction confirming to IS-13947, front & back openable. The panel shall be provided with ventilation facility in the form of louvers for better heat dissipation & tinned copper bus-bar wrapped with coloured PVC tape/sleeves of rating in conformity to the Incoming MCCB rating. The panel board shall be fabricated out of 2.0 mm thick CRCA sheet duly pre-treated & powder coated, supporting frame made out of 50 x 50 x 6 mm angle iron suitable for 3 Ph, 4 wire system 415/440 volts grade incl complete internal wiring with not less than 2.5 sqmm copper wire incl cable glands of suitable sizes incl PCC platform/plinth of suitable size complete all as specified & as directed with & incl the following accessories :- (Pump House panel) BUSBAR AND INTERNAL CONNECTION : The busbar shall be made up of 04 Nos Copper busbar 100A rated duly insulated with 1100 V grade standard colour coated PVC sleeves and rigidly mounted on suitable sized 'F'class insulators of non hygrosopic, all internal connections from main busbar to switch gear etc. PROVISION FOR CABLE ENTRY; The provision for cable entry/exit shall be provide in the bottom for both incoming and outgoing cables. EXTERNAL ELECTRIC SUPPLY Supply, installation, testing and commissioning Compact Sub Station (CSS) complete all as specified comprising of the following equipments :- (A) OUTDOOR ENCLOSURE: Outdoor type enclosure having construction of galvanized steel sheet of thickness 2mm. The enclosure shall have IP 54 degree of protection for HT & LT switchgear compartment & IP 23 degree of protection for transformer compartment. The enclosure shall be powder coated as per approved colour. Each compartment will be provided with door and pad locking arrangement. The compartment illumination lamp with door operated switch shall be provided in each compartment. (B) HT SWITCHGEAR: (i) HT 11 kV, 630 Amps, 350 MVA, 21 kA for 3 secs, SF6 insulated Non-extensible Compact Switchgear consisting of 01 No. fixed manual Vacuum Circuit breaker as Incomer and 01 No. manual load break switch as Outgoing and 01 No. fixed manual Vacuum Circuit Breaker as Outgoing with microprocessor based self powered relay in SF6 insulated stainless steel enclosure, with series trip, self powered microprocessor based numerical over current relay (IDMT + Inst) protection along with Class 1.0 Metering with interconnection between HT switchgear and transformer with Cable 95 sqmm 3 Core aluminium unarmoured XLPE cable - 01 Set Item Continued as Srl No. 17.35 to 17.38

Supply and Fixing Aviation obstruction light, Integral LED Aviation light comprising of Aluminium housing with Red Polycarbonate dome, integral driver, ingress protection IP-65, inbuild surge protection, 60 Watts, input voltage range 100-270 Volts AC all as specified and as directed.

M&L for cable route marker made up of PCC block (1:3:6) type. C-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregated of size 900 mm x 300mm x 100 mm thick (45 Cm burried in ground) and properly painted as per approved colour Brown/Blue (HT/LT) and written both side with signed red colour paint ( HT cable 11/33 KV or LT cable 1100 Volts) on route marker including necessary excavation and earthwork complete all as specified and as directed. NOTE : (i) The spacing between two consecutive cable route indicators shall not be more than 50 meters & also shall be provided at each & every bend or corner. (ii) PCC will be measured and paid separately

M&L Horizontal boring ultrasound technic /any other suitable mechanical means at approx 1 mtr bellow the raw/pavement /hard standing etc without dammaging the existing surface geting out and disposal of soil to a distance not exceeding 50 mtrs from the site of work complete all as specified and directed.

FIRE FIGHTING & FIRE ALARM SYSTEM Supply, install, testing and commissioning of " Out door type" LT Distribution Board of suitable size factory fabricated CPRI type tested with suitable neoprene rubber gasket to make it completely dust & vermin proof & degree of protection not less than IP-55 and general construction , front & back openable. The panel shall be provided with ventilation facility in the form of louvers for better heat dissipation & copper bus-bar wrapped with coloured PVC tape/sleeves of rating in conformity to the Incoming MCCB rating. The panel board shall be fabricated out of 3.15 mm thick CRCA sheet duly pre-treated & powder coated, supporting frame angle iron suitable for 3 Ph, 4 wire system 415/440 volts grade incl complete internal wiring incl cable glands of suitable sizes incl PCC platform/plinth of suitable size complete all as specified & as directed with & incl the following accessories : (Fire Panel) BUSBAR AND INTERNAL WIRING : The busbar shall be made up of 04 Nos Copper busbar 100A rated duly insulated with 1100 V grade standard colour coated PVC sleeves and rigidly mounted on suitable sized 'F'class insulators of non hygrosopic, all internal connections from main busbar to switch gear etc. PROVISION FOR CABLE ENTRY: The provision for cable entry/exit shall be provide in the bottom for both incoming and outgoing cables. Note:- The contractor shall arrange for artificial load for testing of DG Set at site and the cost is deemed to be included in the above offer. (E) Acoustic Enclosure:- Manufactured by OEM suitable for 82.5 KVA DG Set. (i) Tested by NABL approved lab as per CPCB (ii) It Should be as per latest rules and regulations of Ministry of Environment and Forest and Pollution control board. (iii) The generating set battery should be inside the enclosure.

(iv) Fuel tank should be inside the enclosure, however, the fuel storage shall be enough for 8 hrs continuous operation. If required contractor may arrange outside fuel storage capacity to achieve this (v) Construction Details/specification are as follows : - (a) Outer body :- CRCA Sheet of 1.6mm thick. (b) Doors :- CRCA sheet of 1.6 mm thick (c) Sound Insulation :- 100 mm thick rock wool (minimum density 64kg/Cum)/ fire resistance foam/puff as per OEM/ as per standard manufacturing to achieve desired decibel level (vi) The acoustic should be composite in construction and fully assembled integral unit.
