REPAIR AND RESURFACING TO ROADS AND OTHER ALLIED MISC WORKS INCLUDING ROAD FURNITURE IN MD AND OTM ACCN AREA OF ENGINNEER REGT, 22 ASC 14 EME, NCVD AND ADJOINING AREA UNDER AOR OF AGE B/R II OF GE (NORTH) UDHAMPUR

Repair to pot holes any depth, not exc 1 sqm each including sweeping free from dirt and mud of water sunken surface in roads, paths etc. cutting around edges to at least 25mm in depth making good by applying tack coat on bituminous surface with paving bitumen VG-10 grade @ 5 Kg per Ten Square Metre, putting in Pre-mixed bituminous macadam using binder 9.8 Kg per 10 Sqm, binded with 0.09 Cum of stone chippings, 6.3 mm size and well rammed (including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chippings), depth of pot holes exc 30 mm complete, all as specified and as directed.

Preparing existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc., sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with compressed air to remove all loose dirt etc., and applying evenly a priming / tack coat on existing black top surfaces with paving bitumen primer using bitumen emulsion SS-1 grade @ 5 Kg per Ten Square Metre and including Bituminous premix asphaltic semi dense concrete 30mm (consolidated thickness with 5.5% paving bitumen using bitumen VG-30 paving grade ( 50 -70 penetration) binder content by weight of total mix with hydrostatic sensor paver finisher rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient using power roller 8 to 12 tonne, complete, all as specified and as directed.

Premix bituminous macadam with 4% paving using bitumen VG-30 paving grade ( 50 -70 penetration) bitumen binder, laid/rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness upto maximum 75mm), complete, all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note: Repair to pot holes any depth not exc 1 sqm each depression in patch over 50mm, shall also be carried out under this item.

Preparation of butuminous surfaces of road and marking 2.5mm thick centre lines, stop lines, dashes, arrows etc and the like n. exc 10 cm wide on road/pavements with hot applied thermoplastic road marking paint of approved colour conforming to BS 3262-1989 with special applicator machineall as per manufacturer's instruction, complete all as specified and directed. Note : Contractor shall have to furnish the detail that quantity minimum used per square meter is 5.00 Kg/Sqm.

Supply and fixing cat eye solar reflective type of metal body alloy of size 100mm x 100mm x 20mm with PMMA striplens reflector of model No. DA-972 fixed with and incl MS stud of suitable size as per manufactures instructions., complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in replacement Solar cat eye aluminium alloy shall ( 100% water proofing design according to 65 ) of size 125mm x 125mm x 25mm ( shank 65mm ) of high efficiency Mono rystafie solar panel 2.4V / 0.3 watt one NI -ed rechargeable battery ( 1.2V / 1600MA ) consisting of super bright LED with 10,000 to 18,000 mcd complete as per manufactures instructions etc. all as specified and directed with stem self illuminating in dim areas during night time . Solar rechargeable batteries for continual performance without much maintenance . Super bright LEDs with a viewing distance of 500 meters . Equipped with prismatic reflective lens on each side ensure maximum reflectivity make up of highly compressive material cosustain over 10 tonne water resistant.

S&F in replacement Metal tubular dealineator made out of ABS round body fitted with 2 Nos 65 mm dia highly reflective reflectors made out of PMMA and mounted on 45/50 mm dia mild steel pipe of 600 mm height duly powder coated and thermo plastic elastomer 3 bands of green, red and yellow reflector radium tape of 25 mm wide strips with anti theft steel net for reflector protection including embedding in PCC 1:2:4 (150x150x300mm) type B1 complete all as specified and directed.

Convex mirror of 800mm dia, made of polycorbonate material provided with 50mm dia mild steel medium weight pipe post of 108m high, duly powder coated fixed on ground with PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 of block size 60x60x60 cm, fixing in repair including earth work & removing excavated soil to a distance not exceeding 50m, complete all as specified as directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note : Cost of PCC and earth work is deemed to be included in unit cost.
