Replacement of 500 KVA DG Sets with 750 KVA DG Sets at Coimbatore International Airport. SH SITC of 750 KVA DG Set and Allied Works.

SH I: SITC of DG set Supply, Installing, Testing & Commissioning of 'Silent Type' Diesel generating set alongwith having prime power rating of 750 KVA, 415 volts at 1500RPM, 0.8 lagging power factor at 415 volts suitable for 50Hz, 3 phase system and for 0.85 load factor, suitable for parallel operation with the existing DG sets and consisting of the following including providing necessary CEA approval etc as required: a) Diesel Engine Diesel engine (Make : CUMMINS) 4 stroke water cooled, electric start, of suitable BHP Min - 1069 BHP at 1500RPM suitable for above out put of alternator at 40 Degree C, 50% RH and at 1000 Mtr MSL and conforming to BS 5514, BS 649, IS 10000, capable of taking 10% overloading for one hour after 12 hours of continuous operation. The engine shall be fitted complete with all the required accessories. The control panel consisting of Power command controller which has paralleling control functions like digital frequency, synchroniztion and voltage matching, sochronous KW and KVAR load sharing controls, Droop KW &KVAR control, Sync check, extended paralleling,Digital power transfer control, load governor control, load demand control. b) Digital display for following (i) Start-stop switch with key (ii) Water temperature Indication (iii) Lubrication oil pressure indication (iv) Lubrication oil temperature indication (v) Battery charging indication (vi) RPM indication (vii) Over speed indication (viii) Low lub. Oil trip indication (ix) Engine Hours indication

c) Alternator Synchronous alternator (Make : STAMFORD) rated at 750 KVA, 415 Volts at 1500 RPM , 3 phase 50Hz, AC supply with 0.8 lagging power factor at 40 Degree C, 50% RH & at 1000 Mtr MSL. The alternator shall be having SPDP enclosure, brushless, continuous duty, self-excited & self-regulated through AVR conforming to IS: 4722/BS 2613 suitable for tropical conditions and with class F/H insulation. d) Base Frame & Foundation: Both the engine and alternator shall be mounted on suitable base frame made of MS channel which shall be installed on suitable cement concrete foundation with necessary reinforcement and vibration isolation arrangement as per Manufacturer's Standard & Site condition. e) Fuel Tank Daily service fuel tank of 990 liters capacity fabricated out of 3 mm thick M.S. Sheet complete with all standard accessories and fuel piping between fuel tank and diesel engine with MS class 'C' pipes of suitable dia. complete with valves, level indications & accessories as required as per specifications with inlet & outlet arrangement,air vent & drain plug provisions. f) Exhaust System: Dry exhaust manifold with hospital exhaust silencer.

g) Starting System 24V DC starting system comprising of starter motors, voltage regulator and arrangement for initial excitation complete with suitable nos. of batteries and exernal battery charger panel as required as per OEM standard h) Acoustic Enclosure Acoustic & weather proof enclosure with arrangement for fresh air in take for cooling of the engine and alternator, extraction , discharging hot air in to the atmosphere as per specification. i) CEA co-ordination, Approval and Preparation of necessary drawings

Supply and fixing exhaust gas piping of following Welded black MS, B class pipe conforming to IS 3589 cut to required lengths and installed with necessary bends, clamps, anti - vibration mounting, insulation of exhuast system with 50mm thick,mineral wool/rock wool , wire mesh including providing cladding with 24 SWG aluminum sheet etc., complete as required. (i) 250 mm dia

Providing and fixing of thermal insulation for silencer with 50mm thick,mineral wool/rock wool , wire mesh including providing cladding with 24 SWG aluminum sheet etc., complete as required.

Supply, fabricating & installing MS items such as tees/angles/channels etc.on floor/ceiling/wall for the exhaust and fuel line support including necessary civil works such as grouting, finishing etc.and painting with a coat of zinc chromate primer and two coats of enamal paint etc complete as required.

SH II : Synchronising / DG Relay Control Panel Works

Modification of control wiring of existing sychronising panel of 500 KVA DG set suitable for operation of proposed new 750 KVA DG set with the existing two nos 750 KVA DG sets including providing & fixing of auxilary relays, providing and fixing PLC in the existing panel to control the load balancing , time equalizer of generator ulitity, bus coupler closing, sychronsing of three DG sets , without disturbing existing BMS system etc complete as required DG Set Load management solution to convert existing 2 Nos. 750KVA DG Set & 1 No New 750KVA DG Set and 1No. Spare 750 KVA DG Set (In future) such as to maintain required logic, Suitable Standby Operation, and maintain duty cycle of DG sets to maintain standard runnning hours on all DG Sets. The 10 inch touch screen HMI shall be backed by Suitable server and Signals will be sent to DG sets - Synchroization and breaker closing shall be by DG PCC a. Supply of Ethernet based energy meters with CTs (Class 0.2 and server communication)-4 Nos b. Suitable Server / Network infrastructure - 1 unit c. 10 inch digital touch screen - 1 unit d. Control wiring and interfacing to existing panel - 1 unit e. Suitable enclsoure to house the same with surge arrestors and protection unit -1 unit

Fabricating, Installing, Testing & Commissioning of DG Set Relay Control Panel for the 750 KVA DG Set complete with relays, timers, set of CTs for protection and trip for short circuit, restricted earth fault, under frequency relays as under a) Differential relay b) Trip circuit supervision relay c) Master trip relay d) 12 Window Annunciator for faults e) Restricted Earth Fault Relay f) CDG 11 earth fault relay g) Suitable 15VA Protection Class CTS h) Sundry Materials / Miscellaneous Works

Providing and laying control cabling between DG set and Relay Panel/ Synchronizing Panel with XLPE insulated and PVC inner sheathed armoured multi stranded copper control cables of 1.1 KV grade of required sizes confirming to IS 1554 (Part-1/1988) with upto date ammendments, including providing end terminations etc complete as required.

SH III: Supply and Laying of Cables

Supply of XLPE insulated and PVC sheathed armoured Aluminium conductor under ground power cable of 1.1 KV grade of following size confirming to IS 7098(Part -1/1988) with upto date ammendments etc complete as required. (i)3.5 x 300 Sqmm

Laying of one number PVC insulated and PVC sheathed / XLPE power cable of 1.1 kV grade of following size in the existing RCC/ HUME/ METAL pipe as required. (i) Above 185 sq. mm and upto 400 sq. mm

Laying of one number PVC insulated and PVC sheathed / XLPE power cable of 1.1 kV grade of following size in the existing masonry open duct as required. (i) Above 185 sq. mm and upto 400 sq. mm

Laying and fixing of one number PVC insulated and PVC sheathed / XLPE power cable of 1.1 kV grade of following size on wall surface/cable tray as required. (i) Above 185 sq. mm and upto 400 sq. mm(clamped with 40x3mm MS flat clamp)

Supplying and Making end termination with brass compression gland and aluminium lugs for following size of PVC insulated and PVC sheathed XLPE aluminium conductor cable of 1.1KV grade as required. (iv) 3.5 x 300 sq.mm (70 mm)

Excavation for cable trenches in soft soil, depth upto 1.2 m including dressing of sides lift upto 1.5 m, including getting out the excavated soil, refilling with sand and or good soil after laying of cable/ pipe etc. in layers of 20 cm, and disposal of surplus excavated soil as directed, within a lead of 50 meter without ramming and watering.

Supplying and laying of following size DWC HDPE pipe ISI marked along with all accessories like socket, bend, couplers etc. conforming to IS 14930, Part II complete with fitting and cutting, jointing etc.in the existing trench ., complete as required. 120 mm dia OD, 103.5 mm dia ID

Sub Head IV- Earthing

Earthing with G.I. earth plate 600 mm X 600 mm X 6 mm thick including accessories,and providing masonry enclosure with cover plate having locking arrangement and watering pipe of 2. 7 meter long etc. with charcoal/ coke and salt as required.

Providing· and fixing 25 mm X 5 mm G.I. strip in 40 mm dia G.I. pipe from earth electrode including connection with G.l. nut, bolt, spring, washer excavation and refilling etc. as required.

Earthing with copper earth plate 600 mm X 600 mm X 3 mm thick including accessories, and providing masonry enclosure with cover plate having locking arrangement and watering pipe of 2.7 meter long etc. with charcoal/ coke and salt as required.

Providing & Fixing 25 mm x 5 mm copper strip in 40 mm size medium class G.I pipe from earth electrode including connection with brass nut, bolt, spring, washer excavation and re-filling etc.in ground as required.
