   Procurement will be made only from those sources who have been approved by RDSO for such ordering [i.e. approved sources either before or on the date of tender opening], to manufacture and supply the tendered item (RDSO Item ID: 3100639002, B-Series Mast). (For details regarding ordering on Approved/Developmental vendors please refer para 3.2 & 3.3 of Part-B tender conditions).

   (1) Preferably manufacturers should participate. In case of firms other than OEMs participating in the tender, they must submit tender specific Authorization from OEM or valid dealership certificate from OEM along with their offer failing which their offers will not be considered. (2) OEMs can authorize and give Tender Specific Authorization to its Agent / Dealers to quote on their behalf provided the vendor takes full responsibility for the quality of the material including warranty obligation.Please refer para 3.4 of Part-B of Southern Railway Tender Conditions attached with this tender.

   EMD shall be 2% of the estimated tender value and shall be taken from all bidders for contract value above Rs. 25 Lakh subject to the applicable exemptions. For details please refer 2.0 Part A of Southern Railway Tender Conditions available under the mentioned link in the tender.

   Price Variation Formula: P = Po/100 [11 + 32 (SBLR/SBLRo) + 25 (SBIR/SBIRo) + 09 (Zn/Zno) + 23 (W/Wo)], P= Price payable as adjusted in accordance with the above formula. Po = Price quoted/confirmed SBLRo =Price of Steel Blooms-Retail one month prior to date of tender opening . SBIRo = Price of Steel Billets-Retail one month prior to date of tender opening. Zno = Prices of electrolytic high grade zinc one month prior to date of tender opening. Wo= All India average consumer price index number for Industrial Workers,as published by the labour bureau as on the 1st working day of the month three months pror to the date of tender opening. SBLR:- Price of Steel Blooms-Retail. This price is as applicable as on the 1st working day of the month, two months prior to the date of delivery. SBIR = Price of Steel Billets- Retail. This price is applicable, as on the 1st working day of the month, two months prior to the date of delivery. Zn = Price of electrolytic high grade Zinc. This price is applicable, as on the 1st working day of the month, two months prior to the date of delivery. W = All India average consumer price index number for Industrial Workers, as published by the Labour Bureau, Ministry of Labour, Govt. of India (Base: 2016 = 100 ). The index number is applicable, as on the 1st working day of the month, four months prior to the date of delivery.

   Please enter the percentage of local content in the material being offered. Please enter 0 for fully imported items, and 100 for fully indigenous items. The definition and calculation of local content shall be in accordance with the Make in India policy as incorporated in the tender conditions.

   Validity of offers: Offers should be valid for 90 days after closing date of tender. Any offer having lesser validity shall be deemed as commercially unresponsive and will be summarily rejected
