PIPELINE HDD WORK
Installation of coated line pipes across river crossings by horizontal directional drilling as per specification, drawings, other provisions of Contract and instruction of Engineer-in-Charge, including but not limited to following works: “Receiving and taking over”, handling, loading, transportation and unloading of Company supplied externally corrosion coated and bare line pipes from designated place of issue/dump site(s) to Contractor’s own stock yard (s)/ work shop(s)/ work-site(s); carrying out repairs of pipes and coating defects not attributable to Company (i.e. defects occurring after “taking over” of pipes from Company); arrangement of all additional land required for Contractor’s storage, fabrication, access for construction (other than Company provided ROU/ROW); Complete work for the water crossings (between the limits as indicated in the drawings) including all additional drilled lengths necessitated by Contractor's design of water crossings, mobilisation and de-mobilisation at site(s), supply of all materials as per "Scope of Supply" and all consumables, equipment, manpower and other resources, Interpretation of the hydrological and geo-technical survey furnished by the Owner; Carry out all additional geotech & topographical surveys required for collecting data relevant to construction of the crossing, performing all engineering and calculations related to pipeline installation, preparation of all necessary construction drawings for Company approval as per the provisions of the Contractor document, Preparation of detailed construction method statement and calculations, Strings preparation including welding, radiography, weld repair and re-test, pre-hydrotesting of completed string, corrosion coating of field joints with dirax or equivalent heat shrink sleeves, , Pre-construction surveys and collection of all necessary data, Installation of pipeline below the river bed by horizontal directional drilling to the correct profile as per approved drawings and specification, Post-installation, hydrotest including detection of leaks; repair of defects and retesting, etc. for defects attributed to Contractor's, Supply, fabrication and construction of protective fencing as required, Restoration and clean-up etc., Preparation of as-built drawings and other records etc., All other works not specifically listed herein, but required as per specifications, drawings, provision of contract document, calculations, and construction method statements, leading to successful completion of works, complete in respect of the following:

Repair of Defects in Corrosion Coating
Repair of Holiday in Coating Supply of all coating repair materials as per the requirements of the relevant specifications, supply of all consumables, utilities, equipment, and all manpower required, pipe cleaning and surface preparation, repairing of coating defects (resulting in holiday in coating) and testing including all handling, transportation, etc. for line pipes, performing all works necessary for the completion of the works strictly in accordance with the relevant specifications and instructions of Engineer-in-Charge. This rate shall be applicable per sq. cm of exposed area of steel Repair of Holiday in Coating (Type of coating: - 3- Layer Polyethylene)
Repair of Cosmetic Defects in Coating Supply of all coating repair materials as per the requirements of the relevant specifications, supply of all consumables, utilities, equipment, and all manpower required, pipe cleaning and surface preparation, repairing of coating defects (resulting in holiday in coating) and testing including all handling, transportation, etc. for line pipes, performing all works necessary for the completion of the works strictly in accordance with the relevant specifications and instructions of Engineer-in-Charge. This rate shall be applicable per sq. cm of repair patch. Repair of Cosmetic defect in Coating (Type of coating: - 3 Layer Polyethylene )
Idel Time preservation ( with Nitrogen) Preservation of complete HDD section and associated facilities and its maintenance including supply of all consumables, all equipment, man-power, etc., complete as per the requirements of specifications, other provisions of Contract document and instructions of Engineer-in- Charge. By filling and pressurising with Nitrogen including supply and maintenance to maintain the effectiveness of section to keep at 2 bar Pressure for a period of 3 months

GEOTECHNICAL INVESTIGATION FOR RIVER/CROSSINGS (Other than above River Crossing)
Mobilization of plant and personnel at site including shifting of plant and personnel from one site to another site and demobilization, complete for investigation work as described in scope of work and as per instruction of Engineer Incharge. Note: Permission from Engineer Incharge shall be obtained prior to carrying out this item.
Boring of minimum 150 mm dia boreholes as specified through all kinds of soil A. In river where water depth is more than 0.5m.(up to 15m depth)
B. Boring on bank and on bed of river up to water depth of 0.5m ( for maximum 20m depth borehole),
Conducting Standard Penetration tests in boreholes as specified.
Collecting 100 mm dia undisturbed samples from boreholes as specified .
Conducting Electrical Resistivity Tests (ERT) as specified
Drilling through rock with minimum Nx size bit up to a maximum depth of 20m from existing Ground as per instruction of Engineer –in –charge at Pipeline stations
On bank and on bed of river up to water depth of 0.5m A. Using Tungsten bit

** These tests shall be conducted if soil appears to be expansive in nature. 1- The Bidder must indicate currency (ies) against each quoted item of the SOR. 2- The Total amount shall also be given by the bidder in the quoted currency (ies).
