Transplantation of Standing Trees of various species and girth up to 60 cm by carefully uprooting and transplanting, including cost of earth mover for trenching at present as well as new site, pruning of tree, preparation and packing of root ball with Hessian cloth/other suitable material, application of necessary chemicals/anti-fungal treatment, lifting, loading, unloading and placing of trees with suitable capacity crane, watering, backfilling with good earth/manure, compacting and staking, including contractor’s labour, tools, plants, machineries, and all incidental works complete, at the location specified within a lead of up to 5 km from Airport, as per terms and conditions mentioned in the technical specifications. The item also includes complete maintenance of the transplanted trees for a period of 36 months, including regular watering, loosening of soil, weeding, staking support, application of fertilizers/manures, pest and disease control, protection/guarding, pruning, replacement of soil, and all operations required for healthy survival and growth as per scientific standards. Note:- 1. Submitting the report regarding survival percentage of trees based on species. 2.The item includes rate for coordination from respective authorities with location and species to be transplanted (Formal order will be provided by AAI) 3. Tree numbering of trees and locating the existing location and proposed location , duly taking signature of concerned authorities. 4. Tree number wise details is to be collected before taking up the work. The inventory will include type of tree, girth , height etc. as per direction Forest Deptt. Govt of Bihar. 5. Photo/video before and after transplantation 6.The no of trees are tentative in nature may vary as per Direction of Deptt. of Forest. 7. The transplanted trees shall be maintained by the Agency for a period of 3 years. 8. If the transplanted trees dry up or nearly die due to lack of proper maintenance, the Agency shall replant new saplings of 10-12 feet height with a bamboo gabion, and the entire expense for this shall be borne by the agency. The dried trees shall also be felled and transported to the Departmental Forest Depot at the agency's own expense. 9. The Agency shall hire an Arborist or scientist on an honorarium basis to conduct the Scientific Monitoring of the transplanted trees, and the honorarium amount shall be paid by the agency.

Marking and numbering of existing trees at site by removing chhaal (bark) carefully at required location on tree trunk, cleaning the surface, and using synthetic enamel paint of suitable contrast color, all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. The work shall include all materials, labour, and tools required for removal of chhaal, cleaning and numbering. Note:- (i) The numbering shall be done at an appropriate height (generally 1.2 m from ground level) visible from road/approach side.

Cutting/felling of standing trees of any species and girth by manual or mechanical means, including logging of trees, accumulation of timber at work site, clearing of lanes on expulsion path by picking up the wood from canal or road as required, proper stacking and accumulation at site, loading of timber from work site/fallen location, transportation by tractor up to 50 km lead, unloading at nearby nursery or designated stacking yard, siding, re-measurement, lot making and all incidental charges such as labour, tools, fuel, stationery, marking paint, register, and record-keeping etc., complete as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note:- Payment shall be made as per actual measured volume (in cubic metre) of recoverable timber.

Collection of firewood generated from tree cutting/felling operations, including segregation, circulatory handling, accumulation at work site, loading of firewood from worksite/fallen location, transportation by tractor up to 50 km lead, unloading in nearby nursery or designated storage yard, siding, re-measurement, lot making for firewood, and all miscellaneous expenditure on stationery, paint, register, marking, lace, etc., complete as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note:-Payment shall be made as per actual measured volume (in cubic metre) of firewood delivered and accepted at site.
