M & L for maintenance free chemical earthing system complete with 03 (three) nos copper bonded rods, 17.2 mm dia 3000 mm long electrode buried at suitable distance apart directly in ground, to bore holes of 120 mm dia vertically to a depth not less than 3.60 mtr deep below ground level with top edge of earth electrode at a depth not less than 100 mm below normal ground level, provision of clamps or brazed or both for each copper bonded rods made of copper and copper strip of size 25 x 3 mm & strip connection on the top of the electrode and copper strip of size 25 x 3 mm for inter connection of 03 nos copper bonded rods and laying at least 500 mm below in the ground and further connected to test point terminal block (copper strip and test terminal block shall be measured separately), including back filling of bore holes with advanced earth enhanhencing compound 96 kilogram (minimum) for artificial treatment to soil so as to achieve earth resistance below 01 Ohms as specified in para 19.140 of SSR Part-1 (2009), including provision of earthing pit in PCC(1:3:6) type C1 pre-cast cover RCC slab of size 400 x 400 x 50 mm with one handle made out of 8 mm dia round bar, including necessary earth work and three coats of white wash on plastered surface (exposed surfaces) and testing complete all as directed and including necessary earth work and testing complete all as specified and directed. Note:-Taking down old unserviceable dilapidated chemical earthing are included in quoted rate.

M&L for Earthing complete with copper earth plate electrode 60 x60 cm x 3.15 mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 m deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 meter below normal ground level connected to copper earth strip of size 20 x 3 mm by means of brass bolts nuts, check nut and washers and GI tubing 40 mm bore, light grade for earth lead protection up to main earth test point and including concrete pit in PCC (1:3:6) typeC 1 pre cast RCC (1:2:4) type B1 cover slab 400 x 400 x 50 mm with one handle for lifting made out of 8 mm dia MS bar, wire mash, 20 mm bore GI tubing(L. G.) for watering ,charcoal or coal and salt in alternate layers including excavation earth work complete all as specified and directed Electrical plate No 3 of SSR Part-I Note:- Taking down old unserviceable dilapidated copper earthing of any description included in quoted rate.

M&L earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 60 cm x 60 cm x 6 mm buried directly in ground vertically to a depth not less than 2.25 mtr below ground level with top edge of earth plate at a depth not less than 1.5 mtr below ground level connecting to galvanized iron or steel earth lead of GI Strip 25 X 4 mm by means of welding, nuts, bolts, check nuts and washers of galvanized iron or steel, earth strip protected by galvanized Iron pipe 40 mm dia (medium grade) and connected to main switch board or main control panel (up to7.5 mtr)as directed and as specified incl concrete pit in PCC (1:3:6) type C1 pre-cast RCC (1:2:4) cover slab 5 cm thick of size as shown reinforced with 8 mm dia TMT deformed bars 100 mm c/c both ways incl one handle made of 12 mm dia MS bars of length 500 mm, funnel with wire mesh, 20 mm bore galvanized iron pipe light grade for watering, charcoal and salt in alternate layers 15 cm incl necessary earth work complete all as shown in elect plate No 3 of SSR Part I, including demolition of existing unserviceable earthing , complete all as specified and directed. Taking down unsegregated aluminum/copper/GI strip/wire of any size, including air termination rod of any description from roof/wall including serviceable/ broken porcelain insulator complete all as specified and directed.

Labour only for refixing of aluminum/copper strip of any dimension, obtained from serial item No.-5 here in before on roof/wall with porcelain insulator complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Broken insulator to be measured separately.

Supply and fixing copper strip of size 25 x 3 mm with saddles with required porcelain insulator, fixing screws etc. for roof conductors and down conductors complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing copper strip of size 32 x 6 mm with saddles with required porcelian insulator, fixing screws etc. for roof conductors and down conductors complete all as specified and directed.

Supply & Fix Aluminium strip 25 x 3.15 mm with saddles and fixing screws etc. for roof conductors and down conductors above ground complete all as directed.

Supply and fixing, earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or buried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc. but 25x4mm galvanized iron strip complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing in repair earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or buried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc. as required 4 mm dia galvanized iron or steel wire complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repair, Test point terminal block made of copper size 300 mm x 32mm x 6mm, drilled and screwed including 3 Nos. 8 mm dia. screw hex. Head screw and MS cover made of 2mm thick sheet including provision for entry/exit of earth strip. NOTE:- Copper strip &Test point bonded by brazing complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repair, Test point terminal block made of Galvanized iron, size 300 mm x 32mm x 6mm, drilled and screwed including 3 Nos. 8 mm dia. screw hex. Head screw and MS cover made of 2mm thick sheet including provision for entry/exit of earth strip complete all as specified and directed.

Material & labour for brazing work of already existing copper or chemical earthing which join by nut-bolt complete all as specified and directed.

Labour only for refixing of air termination rod of any description, obtained from serial item No-5 here in before complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repair for porcelain insulator suitable for fixing of aluminum/copper strip on roof/wall with necessary drilling and providing two nos screw for fixing complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repair for Air termination, single pointed aluminum rod 12mm dia and 300mm long complete all as directed.

S&F in repair for Air termination, single pointed, copper rod 12mm dia and 300mm long complete all as directed.

S&F for air termination made up of high conductivity EC-grade copper conforming to BS 2874, with 01(one) No taper pointed air rod, 25 mm dia 1000 mm long, 03(Three) taper pointed air rod,12 mm dia 300 mm long, with multiple point adopter base , fixed to elevation rod 25 mm dia 1000 mm long and with copper air teminal base suitable for 25 mm dia elevation rod, base fixed with suitable brass screw and PVC screw fastener sleeve to parapet of RCC roof slab/ stair case canopy/ railing of water tank etc complete all as specified and directed.

S&F GI tube light grade 50mm dia with all fitting and laid in floors, under road, pavement or hard standing for protection of earthing strip including taking out GI pipe complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item No. 20 here in before but 40 mm bore complete all as specified and directed.

Checking and testing of earth resistance value of existing chemical earthing by meggar, repair/replacement of copper strips where found corroded and if required providing Isogel of Tercel or equivalent of Macmet or Erico, chemical earth enhancing compound 45 Kg per earthing as directed to achieve required earth resistance value below one ohms complete all as directed. Note:- (i) Replacement of copper strip will be measured paid separately under relevant items of this schedule (ii) Earth megger will be arranged by contractor and cost for the same is included in this item (iii) Excavation, returning-filing and Removal are include in quoted rate for this item.

Checking and testing of earth resistance value of existing copper/GI plate earthing by meggar, repair/replacement of strips where found corroded and if required provide magnesium sulphate and salt 8 Kg per earthing as directed to achieve required earth resistance value, complete all as directed. Note:- (i) Replacement of strip will be measured paid separately under relevant items of this schedule. .

Checking of E-N Voltage by multi meter or any other suitable device and detecting the cause of increase in EN voltage, due to any type of associated faulty earthing/loose connection of switchgears or any other malfunctioning of equipment causing increase in E-N Voltage. Replacement/treatment of any type of earthing/tightening of loose connection of switchgears to maintain EN voltage as per IE rule 1972 all as specified and directed. Note:- (i) Replacement of any type of earthing conductor will be measured paid separately under relevant items of this schedule (ii) Earth megger, multimeter or any other device required to measure EN voltage will be arranged by contractor and cost for the same is included in this item (iii) Treatment of any type of earthing will be measured paid separately under relevant items of this schedule

M & L for construction PCC erthing pit with cover for already existing earthing which pit broken. concrete pit in PCC (1:3:6) typeC 1 pre cast RCC (1:2:4) type B1,including pit cover slab 400 x 400 x 50 mm with one handle for lifting made out of 8 mm dia MS bar, wire mash funnel for watering and excavation earth work complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for one pre cast RCC (1:2:4) type B1 cover slab of size 400 x 400 x 50 mm for already existing earthing pit with one handle for lifting made out of 8 mm dia MS bar complete all as specified and directed.
