Manning and Operation of Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) No I installed at NSRY complex round the clock in three shifts of 08 Hours each including routine preventive maintenance / checks complete and supply and use of consumables like lubricating oil, grease, cotton waste etc, testing of pH value and MLSS by volume at existing site laboratory all as specified and directed. The installation comprises complete equipments related to ETP-01 .

Manning and Operation of Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) No 2 installed at CNTW complex in one shift (08 Hours per shift) including routine maintenance / checks complete and use of consumables like lubricating oil, grease, cotton waste etc all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. The installation comprises complete equipments related to ETP-02 .

NOTES for item No. 1.00 & 2.00 (i) ETP-I installed at NSRY (aa) The contractor shall employ One No skilled operator having minimum ITI qualification in Electrician / Mechanic trade from Govt recognized institute with minimum 2 years experience in Maintenance & Operation of Effluent Treatment Plant / sewage treatment plant / water supply installation / DG set installation in each shift of 8 hrs (Total -03 Shifts per day) The operator must be competent to carry out the routine maintenance of ETP and replacement of fast moving spares including maintenance of electrical panal board. (ab) The contractor shall employ One No helper minimum 10th pass with adequate experience in each shift of 8 hrs (Total -03 Shifts per day) (ii) ETP-II installed at CNTW (aa) The contractor shall employ one No skilled operator having minimum ITI qualification in Electrician / Mechanic trade from Govt recognized institute with minimum 2 years experience in Maintenance & Operation of Effluent Treatment Plant / sewage treatment plant / water supply installation / DG set installation in each shift of 8 hrs (Total -01 shift per day) (b) The rate is deemed to be inclusive of maintaining necessary records and documents for operation and maint of plant specified.Contractor will maintain proper records of all kinds of daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, half yearly, yearly or whatsoever maintenance is carried out during contract period as per format issued by Engr-in-Charge in a binded book/register and will obtain the signature of Engineer-in-Charge every fortnightly.

(c) The rate quoted deemed to include for daily routine maintenance like checking and rectification of loose connection, attending minor leakages,mixing of the chemiclas cleaning and general upkeep of plant room, removal of weed and vegetation in the complex. The contractor will ensure general area cleanliness and upkeep of the installation on daily basis. In case of failure, a penalty of Rs 2000/- per installation per month will be levied and recovered from dues. (d) The Contractor shall not employ same tradesman continuously for more than 11 months. (e) The contractor shall provide 02 uniforms to each operator & helper and design of uniform shall be got approved from Engineer-in-charge. In case contractor fails to provide the uniform, recovery @ of Rs 1200/- per uniform will be recovered. (f) The rate quoted shall deemed to be inclusive of safety gear & required tools for minor maintenance. In case of failure to provide tools kit & safety kit (Gum boots- 02 pairs, hand gloves), a penalty of Rs 3000/- will be recovered and levied on the contractor for non compliance. (g) Stores required for maintaining the services shall be measured and paid separately under relevant item of this schedule. (h) In case of failure due to absence of operative staff, the contractor shall be liable to pay compensation at twice the cost of a day’s Manning & Operation derived from pro rata rate of Sch ‘A’ quoted rates

(j) The operator must be well converant with functioning of the plant and shall be ompetent enough to routine maintenance of the installation incl main electric panel. (k) Chlorine kit shall be provided by the contractor for testing to the level of chlorine at site (l) The record of lab testing of waste / treated water samples will also be maintained in similar way and the cost of same is deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted. (m) The contractor shall pay the wages to the Skilled operator through e payment i.e Aadhar linked bank accounts(Credit to their bank account). Engr-in-Charge shall ensure that e-payment made to Skilled operator and their wages shall not be less than minimum wages fixed by state Govt or central Govt whichever is more. Monthly e-banking statement shall be furnished by the contractor to the Engineer-in-Charge and the same shall be kept in record duly verified. (n) It is the responsibility of contractor to deposit the employees provident fund (EPF) to the concerned authority as per the prevailing scales as laid down by the Ministry of labour for all Electrician/ operator/ helper (as applicable) and necessay proof to this regard shall be submitted to Engr-in-charge for verification and records. The quoted rate shall be deemed to be included of above provisions. In case contractor fails to produce the proof of EPF, shall be liable for action as deemed fit. Decision of GE in this regard shall be final and binding. (o) The contracotr shall maintain all the registers under various labour law rules, 2017 and shall be produced to GE and as well as officers detailed by labour department.

Supply and use Polydozing powder (Catimole 2035) for treatment of effluent at ETP all as per report and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Testing of Sewage treated water sample collected from ETP-I & II overflow of settling tank for testing(Chemical Analysys of COD, BOD, SS, PH, O&G, DS, RSC, CI, SO4 and suspended solid) from KSPCB lab by standard procedure including cost of packing material for Effluent / Sewage samples all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Taking out Coalscer Column feed pump and motor ( filter feed pump) capacity 3 HP/2.2 KW , Cap 25 Cum/hr, RPM-3405/3425, of Make : Grundfos of from ETP-1 at NSRY and refixing the same after rewinding with super enameled copper wire of existing size including all necessary works complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Taking out filter back wash pump and motor capacity 5 HP/3.0 KW , cap 46.1 Cum/hr, RPM - 3400/3480 of Make : grundfos from ETP-1 at NSRY and refixing the same after rewinding with super enameled copper wire of existing size including all necessary works complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Taking out Surface Aeration motor having capacity 7.5 HP/5.5 KW, RPM 1445 Make : Bharat Bijlee of Aeration tank from ETP-1 at NSRY and refixing the same after rewinding with super enameled copper wire of existing size including all necessary works complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Taking out sludge transfer pump and motor having capacity 2 HP/1.1 KW, RPM- 2820 of Make :Grandfos from ETP-1 at NSRY and refixing the same after rewinding with super enameled copper wire of existing size including all necessary works complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Taking out Belt type oil skimmer with motor of 0.18 KW RPM 1320/1630 of Make :Bonfyglioli from ETP and refixing the same after rewinding with super enamelled copper wire of existing size including all necessary works complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Taking down old unserviceable pipe lines from effluent water pumping line layed on walls/ floor/ Ceiling/ Trenches and supply and laying in repairs HDPE pipes of pressure rating 10kg/cm2 for effluent water pumping pipe lines including all joints, bends, elbows, Y/T connection, flanges, SS clamps, hanger bolts, reducers of size 150 mm all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing of CI Gate valve flange type (P 1.6) of size 65-85 mm including taking out old unserviceable gate valve of any make and size complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M & L for cleaning of primary settling tank at ETP-I by pumping out raw sewage, removing the sludge settled at the bottom, cleaning thoroughly with wire brush, finally cleaning with dilute solution of sodium hypochlorite & fresh water additives of required level applying one coat of bituminous paint including writing letters on the tank with synthetic enamel paint as "TANK CLEANED ON ------(DATE) AND DUE ON ---DATE with 10 cm high stencil cut english letter all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M & L for repairs/overhauling to belt driven air compressor of make - Elgi Equipments Limited , working pressure 10kg/cm2 with 1.5 HP motor by removing cylinder and piston, piston liners including replacements of all required parts like rings and washers, bearings and suction and discharge valves etc for proper functioning and re-assembling and installation and testing after repair/overhauling including painting with two coats of synthetic enamel paint after cleaning/preparation of surface complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and fix in repairs dewatering sewage submersible pump of capacity 1HP, three phase including connecting cables of length 5 meters and 01 meter inlet flexible pipe of dia 65mm and connected to HDPE pipe line for ETP-2 (oil sump) and including all fixing accessories of make Kirloskar Model 750 CW or equivalent including taking down old unserviceable and in any position all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and fix in repair of chemical dosier of flow rate 1 LPH capacity of make - Milton Roy metering pump or equivalent make, suitable for sodium hypochlorite solution with all accessories suitable for chemical dosing complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M & L for opening of sand media filter gate of ETP of size 1.2 meter dia 1.5 meter height after closing all inlet and outlet valves and removing old dirty sand media with old nut & bolt/gasket/washer from filter chamber and cleaning complete chamber, drying, preparation of surface and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint using spray gun and filling of new sand media as per standard procedure, fixing new old nut & bolt/gasket/washer etc complete all as specified and as directed. NOTE :Filter media required shall be measured and paid as "Supply only"

Supply only granular fine pebbles of size 40 mm to 3 mm match to existing size and shape suitable for filter media of rapid sand water filters free from all types of salts, alkaline materials, minerals, silts, impurities etc complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M & L for overhauling of gear box and motor assembly for clarifier tank of ETP-1 of capacity 315 CMD complete with tightening and aligning of chain assembly , reconditioning of socket, replacement of bearings, coupling joints and repainting of the unit with two coats of epoxy black paint over a coat of anti corrosive primer paint complete all as directed by Engr-in-Charge.
