REPAIR TO ROAD BERMS AND ROAD FURNITURE AND CULVERTS AT RAMGARH AND TECH AREA AT AF STN JAISALMER

Repair to potholes any depth, not exc 1 sq m each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth, applying tack coat @ 5 kg per 10 sq m, putting in premixed bituminous macadam, well rammed and sealed with binder 9.8 kg per 10 sq m, blinded with 0.09 cu m of stone chippings, 6.3 mm size and again well rammed (including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chippings). depth of potholes exc 30 mm

Preparing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc.

M & L for applying evenly a tack coat of Cationic Bitumen Emulsion (RS-1) conforming to IS: 8887 at a rate of application of 0.2-0.3 kg/sqm on bituminous surface as specified in Table 500-5 of MaRTH specification for road and bridge works 2013, using mechanica sprayer after cleaning of existing surface as specified Iand directed.

M&L for premix bituminous macadam (Consolidated thickness 75mm or less) using paving bitumen (VG-30) 4% by weight of total mix, spread, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient complete with 8 to 12 tonne power roller complete all as specified and directed.Note :- (i) In case the binder contents by weight of total mix is less than 4% as per actual design mix, the price adjustment shall be made as per average rates of all paid voucher for bitumen pertaining to this work. If the total binder contents as per design mix is more than 4%, no price adjustment shall be made for the same. (ii) Job mix formula for premix bituminous macadam shall be obtained from the institutions specified in CA prior to commencement of work and shall be got approved from the GE.

M&L for providing and laying 30mm consolidated thickness Bituminous Premix Semi Dense Asphaltic Concrete (SDAC) using paving bitumen VG-30 with 5.5 % binder by weight of total mix Rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient complete with 8 to 12 tonne power roller complete all as specified and directed.Note :- (i) In case the binder contents by weight of total mix is less than 5.5% as per actual design mix, the price adjustment shall be made as per average rates of all paid voucher for bitumen pertaining to this work. If the total binder contents as per design mix is more than 5.5%, no price adjustment shall be made for the same. (ii) Job mix formula for Semi dense asphaltic concrete shall be obtained from the institutions specified in CA prior to commencement of work and shall be got approved from the GE. complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for painting 2.5 mm thick with thermoplast fluorescent paint of colour white or golden yellow or any other shade conforming to BS standard 3262 with 20% glass beads (inter mixed) applied hot with automatic (commercial) machine drive in strips after preparation of surfaces as per manufacturer’s instructions & according to the specifications laid down by IRC & MOST (Ministry Of Surface Transport)- Specifications 2001 (4th revision), making lines, broken lines/dashes, arrows etc. on roads and other like surfaces of any width, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for prepreation of old surface 2.5 mm thick hot applied thermoplastic reflective road marking paint , with glass beads laid with special applicator machine with preparing bituminous surfaces of road/pavements of for lines stopes line dashes , arrows, letters etc on roads pavements and the like any wide, in white or golden yellow colour all as directed by engr in charge.

Supply and fixing for cat eye of ABS plastic material red/yellow colour with two reflector fitted in body equavilent fixing with nails and approved adhesve including dismantling of old cat eyes.

Supply and fix for solar cat eye aluminum alloy shall(100% water proofing design according to 65) of size 125mm x 125mm x 25mm (shank 65mm) of high efficiency Mono rystafie solar panel 2.4V/ 0.3 watt one NI-ed rechargeable battery (1.2V/ 1600MA) consisting of super bright LED with 10,000 to 18,000 mcd including dismantling completed as per manufactures instructions etc. all as specified and directed

Dismantling of old serviciable solar stud carefully without demaging body and refixied with approved adhesive at black top road surface complete all as specified and direceted.
