Cleaning of gully traps/drain pipes/floor traps/water closets/manholes/ of any size and any description and removing waste material etc to a distance not exceeding 50m and burying in pits and re-filling the same complete all as specified and directed by the Engr-in-Charge. Note:- (a) The cost for excavation and earth work for pits is deemed to be included in the unit rate. (b) Contractors representative/ Engineer will report to Engr-in-Charge/ concern JE daily in morning to collect complaint for routine/urgent works related to day to day maintenance till completion of contract. (c) All routine/urgent jobs received on docket slip shall be attended within 24 hrs. If the nature of job is such that which cannot be completed within 24 hrs, it shall be immediately brought in to the notice of Engr-in-Charge, (d) The period for working to the such complains shall be decided by GE/Engr-in-Charge. If delay is more than 24 Hrs & GE/Engr-in-Charge is not satisfied with reason for delay in working then the penalty of Rs. 300/complaint/day shall be recovered from contractor. (e) In case of any dispute arising from above the decision of Accepting Officer shall be final and binding.
