Supply, erection, testing & commissioning of submersible pumping set of reputed make such as KSB/Kirloskar/BS/crompton with suitable Modal & stage with 10 HP conforming to latest relevent BIS code. The pump should be fitted with free flow impellers of bronze /suitable alloy as per BIS 5659 or latest with up to date ammendments suitable for raw/clear water having charcterstcs as mentioned in item No.1 greased packed bearings & shell with wound stator on motor side & with shaft protection to a submersible pump side ensuring better life for shaft conforming to BIS specifications. The pump shall be directly coupled to a submersible squirrel cage electric induction motor of Kirloskar/NGEF/Jyoti / Crompton make conforming to relevent BIS code with up to date ammendments totally dust & water proof for submersible duty isolated from the pump by intermediate casing with double mechanical seal in oil chamber chamber & grease packed lubricated bearings & provided with stainless steel thrust bearing plate to withstand non vertical loads with minimum wear & tear. It should also be fitted with a device to take up expansion of water with the heating of motor. The pump set should include water level guard, errection clamps, cable clips & depth gauge etc. & suitable for operation on data given below:-The power of motor should be atleast 10% on excess of the maximum power required by the pump in operation range & (-) 15 % of the duty point head.

Supply and errection of PVC 3 core jointless, flat water proof submersible cable Havells/Finolex/L&T make 10.00mm sq. size as per BIS 694-1998 latest with up date amendments, suitable for the pumpsets offered from MCB to motor includin all other electrical equipments/ accessories such as thimble, flexible pipe, solder, nuts and bolts, cable glands, clips etc, laid in pipes or trenches under floor. The type, size and make shall be subject to approval of HPSEB authorities.

Providing and Fixing cast steel sluice valve of following diametre and class, as pe BS:1414/API:600 Leader/Kirloskar/Kartar make i/c MS flange of Table-17 as per IS:6392-1971 with welding of MS flanges in two layer on both faces including carriage complete in all respect with in all leads and lifts and to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer in Charge.

Providing and Fixing cast steel reflux valve (swing type) of following diametre an class, as per BS:1868/API:6D Pelicon/Leader/Kirloskar make i/c MS flange of Tab 17 as per IS:6392-1971 with welding of MS flanges in two layer on both faces including carriage complete in all respect with in all leads and lifts and to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer in Charge.

Excavation in foundation and trenches etc , in earth work , lift upto 1.50 metres stacking the excavated soil not more than 3 metres clear fro the edge of excavation and then returning the stacked soll in 15 cm layers , when required into plinths , sides of foundation etc. consolidating each deposited layers by ramming and watering and the disposing of all surplus excavated earth as directed within all lead of 20 mtrs in pick and jumper work 50% each.

Laying, jointing and testing GMS Pipes jointed with 5% joint flanged and remaining butt weld joint of below dia mtr i/c the cost of bends) complete as per IS:1239-1990 (Part-1), as per dimensions, weights and test pressures mentioned below in:-

Providing and welding M.S. flanges at suitable point, to be provided 5% of total joint and remaining 95% joints with butt welded joint, conforming to following tables as per IS 6392-1971 (Latest with upto date amendments) with plain end MSERW pipe in requsite number of layers on both faces to make the joint leak proof (The cost of providing and laying of MSERW pipes to be measured and paid for seprately). The welding of flanges should conform to IS:816-1969 with electrodes as per IS: 814-1991 and required number of nuts and bolts conforming to IS 1364. including cost of gasket sheet nuts & bolts. The thickness of gasket sheet not less then 3.00mm conforming to IS 2712-1998. The work shall be done to the entire satifaction of engineer in charge .

Providing circumferencial Butt welded joints by electrical arc welding to GMS/MSERW pipe, welded in requisite number of weld runs so as to achieve the minimum effective throat thickness of weld conforming to IS: 816-1969 specifications, by using welding electrodes conforming to IS:814-1991, at site of work complete in all respects, including manual / mechanical handling of pipes in all leads and lifts to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge.
