REPAIR TO CRACK FILLING POT HOLE REPAIR WITH EPOXY GRASS CUTTING TAR EPOXY AND SLAB CASTING AT RUNWAY UNDER AOR OF GE AF SRINAGAR

Material and labour for repair to broken spelled edges of joints, patch repair of existing concrete slab by cutting 'U' grooves with mechanical cutter, cleaning the joint portion thoroughly to ensure dust free using compressed air removing all dust/debris out of runway and filling the joint with epoxy mortar three component consisting of an epoxy resin, hardener and graded filler after priming the surface. Mixing in the ratio per manufacturer's instructions and finishing the top surface smooth and complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge for the following joint size: - (a) Joints of Depth n.exc 20 mm

(b) Joints of Depth exc 20 mm but n exc 40 mm

Material and labour for repair to pot holes area of each pot hole n. exc 5 Sqcm of existing concrete slab, cleaning the pot hole thoroughly to ensure dust free using compressor air removing all dust/ debris out of runway and filling the joint with epoxy mortar three component consisting of an epoxy resin hardener and graded filler after priming the surface. Mixing in the ratio per manufacturer's instructions and finishing the top surface smooth and complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Deployment of T&P and labour for cutting and removing the grasses / vegetation growth / saplings etc. from the surrounding area of runway, taxi track and dispersals by using tractor equipped with jungle Jim and disposing off all the rubbish out of runway boundary complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note : Minimum 2 Jungle Jim with tractor to be deployed by the Contractor on daily basis as per user requirement.

Deployment of T&P and labour for grass cutting by manually or mechanically (Bush Cutter) on the both side of runway / PTT as per requirement basis and timing as feasible by the users, complete including taking out all necessary grass shurbs saplings wild bushes and any type of vegetation and removing out of runway boundary complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note : Minimum 4 Bush cutter to be deployed by the Contractor on daily basis as per user requirement.

Material and labour for repair to flexible surface (depressed portion / cracked portion) by cutting damaged / spilled portion to required depth removing useless worthless all looses and foreign materials etc to a distance exceeding 100 m but not exceeding 500 m. Cleaning the surface thoroughly with brushes and finally with compressed air, filling and levelling the surface with EPOXY TAR COMPOUND two components mortar after priming including formwork where required all as specified and as directed

Demolition of old PQC / concrete of any description and in any position not other wise specifically provided for and demolished material thrown out of runway premises complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge

Supplying and laying 400 micron thick HDPE sheet (Virgin quality) water proof wrinkle free without puncture having minimum weight 390gm/Sqm over sand cushion as specified in the design with overlap between adjacent strip and at transverse joint as minimum 300mm.

Material and labour sand cushion layer under polythene film complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge

Material and labour for PQC as in pavement / hard standing, not exceeding 250 mm thick of flexural strength 40 Kg / Sqcm with cement content 400 Kg / cum or as per design mix which ever is higher including necessary steel formwork complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Material and labour forming 25mm width expansion joints in concrete slab for full depth of PQC Early entry saw and subsequent cutting by using diamond bit cutter of appropriate size straight and smooth edges. Joint cleaned thoroughly with application of compressed air. Joints shall be made dry, vacuum cleaned and free of dirt, oil, vegetation and other debris. The Joint then filled with pre-molded 25 mm thick compressible polyethylene closed cell type filler board as specified, thereafter application of two coats of primer with thin brush by forward and backward movement at an interval of 30 minutes before placing the backup rod and pouring the sealant. Placing of closed cell, medium density, cross linked polythene form backup rod of 30 mm dia over filler board and filled with polyurethane joint sealant complying with BS 5212, BS 4254 and EN 141875-2003 with minimum movement accommodation factor (MAF) of +/-30% having minimum 10 year performance gurantee, applying masked tape on the edge of joints and removing the masking tape after filling of sealant as per the method specified by manufacturers complete as specified and directed.

Material and labour for cutting of construction joints 25mm deep and 10mm wide by early entry saw and subsequent cutting by using diamond bit cutter of appropriate size, straight and smooth edges. Joint cleaned thoroughly with application of compressed air. Joints shall be made dry, vacuum cleaned and free of dirt, oil, vegetation and other debris. Application of two coats of primer with thin brush by forward and backward movement at an interval of 30 minutes before placing the backup rod and pouring the sealant. Placing of closed cell medium density, cross linked polythene form backup rod of 12 mm dia, application of bond breaker tape on top of back up rod for complete width of joint and filled with polyurethane joint sealant complying with BS 5212, BS 4254 and EN 141875-2003 with minimum movement accommodation factor (MAF) of +/-30% having minimum 10 year performance gurantee, applying masked tape on the edge of joints and removing the masking tape after filling of sealant as per the method specified by manufacturers complete as specified and directed.

Material and labour for repairing pot holes / patches etc in existing cement concrete pavements by cutting out damaged portion around the pot holes with mechanical equipment into regular shape, 25 to 30mm deep, removing the loose material to a distance exc 250 metre but n.exc 500 m and cleaning the cut out portion with compressed air to remove all foreign materials like dust, dirt, loose aggregates etc, priming the pot holes / patches with special primer recommended by manufacturer and filling with modified elastomeric concrete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

All as per ser item No. 12 here-in-above but depth of pot holes / patches exc 30 mm deep but not exc. 40 mm deep.
