Dismantling of old and structurally deteriorated garbage dumping bins used for waste storage and transportation via Piaggio/dumper placer systems, to be carried out by a qualified welder using appropriate methods of cutting to safely remove corroded or damaged sections while maintaining structural integrity. The job includes: • The execution of precise cutting and removal operations on degraded portions using gas cutting and welding techniques, ensuring strict adherence to safety standards. • Cleaning, surface preparation, and edge treatment through cutting, grinding, and welding to produce clean, uniform, and structurally sound surfaces suitable for integration with new bin sections or replacement components. • Shifting of unserviceable material/old material to a designated dumping site within the premises of the Institute. • The provision of all necessary tools, equipment, and safety gear required for the execution of the job.

Replacing the damaged portions of the bins by fabrication and welding of structural components using M.S. angle iron (ISA 25×25×3 mm as per IS 2062), M.S. plate (3 mm thick as per IS 2062), M.S. flat strips (3 mm thick as per IS 2062), and M.S. rectangular tube (50×25×3 mm as per IS 4923), with all materials precisely cut and welded in accordance with IS 816 and IS 823, including proper integration of hinges and latches. The entire surface of the bins shall be thoroughly prepared and finished with two coats of red oxide primer followed by two coats of enamel paint in the specified colour coding or as directed by the Site Engineer.

Providing, fabricating, and welding of 1mm thick MS sheets (conforming to IS 2062) as bin top covers with integrated heavy-duty stainless steel hinges and specified locking mechanism. The job includes cleaning and surface preparation, followed by application of two coats of red oxide primer (IS 2074) and two finish coats of enamel paint (IS 2932) in the approved colour scheme. The covers shall be precision-fabricated with welded joints complying with IS 816, ensuring proper alignment, weather resistance, and smooth operation of all moving components as directed by site Engineer.
