Attending Preventive and daily maintenance works round the clock and up keeping of Bottom Ash hopper, Feed gates in Bottom ash hopper and its hydraulic unit, Operating the hopper gates, Hydraulic Tensioning unit, Drycon system, for its entire length of 130 m and its connected components, Oscillating screen, Primary Crusher, Secondary Crusher, Bucket elevators, Rotary feeders, Bottom ash Buffer hopper, Releasing and attending the strucked band elements in Bottom casing of drycon head end in Bottom Ash Handling System, including the charges of consumables, T&P's Personal Protective equipments and related works as required at site, as per the direction of the engineer in charge.
Attending the ash leakages by patch up welding of the conveying chutes and equipments. This work involves transporting the M.S plates from MTPS-II stores to Bottom ash area, cutting into required size, leading , lifting, positioning on the eroded portion of bottom ash conveying chutes at its point of elevation, welding the eroded (or) punctured portion of Bottom Ash buffer hopper, Drycon & it’s internals, Oscillating screen and its auxiliaries, primary & Secondary crusher and its discharge Chutes and its connected mechanical components, Ash Hopper below the Secondary crusher, Bucket elevators and its discharge chutes, Rotary vane feeder & its discharge chutes etc. including the hire charges of scaffolding, Safety appliances, T&P’s, consumables and related works as required at site, as per the direction of the engineer incharge.
Periodical Inspection/ Replacement of Bag filters in Bottom Ash Buffer Hopper by opening the manhole of the bag filter unit after isolating the system, Dismantling the air purging lines, Removing all the bag filters one by one from the bag retainers , Cleaning the bag filters with compressed air, checking the bag filters and retainers for any damage, Reassembling the bag filter & bag retainers, Fixing the bag filters one by one into the bag filter unit, Reassembling the air purging lines back into its position and closing the manhole of Bottom Ash buffer hopper and normalizing the system etc., including the charges of consumables, Safety appliances T&P’s and related works as required at site, as per the direction of the engineer incharge.
Releasing of chokes and removing the foreign materials struck up in the Oscillating screen, Primary Crusher, Secondary crusher, Bucket elevators, Rotary vane feeders, and its connected mechanical components in bottom ash handling system. This work involves opening the manhole doors and covers of the respective equipments clearing the choked ash & removing the foreign materials, inspecting the equipments for any damages and fixing the manhole doors and covers, Normalizing the entire system etc., including the charges of Consumables required, Safety appliances T&P’s and related works as required at site, as per the direction of the engineer incharge.
Inspection and Replacement of the worn out band elements (High profile & Low profile) by opening the manual doors and identifying the worn out band elements, replacing the band elements by removing the chain links and chain attachments replacing the same with new band elements and Reassembling the chain links and chain attachments, checking the operation of the Drycon conveyor, unloading the ash accumulated in the bottom ash hoppers by suitabily operating the screws and normalizing the system including cost of hire charges for special tools and other T&P required, consumables and Safety appliances etc., and related works as required at site, as directed by the Engineer-in-charge complete.
Inspection & Removing/Replacing the worn out Supporting roller assemblies with spare and Servicing, Replacement / Reconditioning the worn out internals of supporting roller assemblies such as oil seals, bearings, shaft sleeve, Circlip and assembling the supporting roller assemblies in to the Drycon conveyor including the cost of hire charges for special tools required and other T&P required, consumables such as oil seal, O-rings and other Safety appliances and related works as required at site, as directed by the Engineer-in-charge complete.
Charges for decoupling the drive shaft from the motor, removing the failed / wornout oscillating screen Drive shaft / Non drive shaft assembly from the equipment, dismantling the assembling, removing the wornout / failed bearings, oil seals and reassembly with new bearings, oil seals and connected mechanical components, coupling the drive shaft with motor and carry out the trial run of oscillating screen including the cost of hire charges for special tools required and other T&P required, consumables such as oil seal, O-rings, new bearings (2 nos) and other Safety appliances and related works as required at site, as directed by the Engineer-in-charge complete.
