KHD 06-08 Improvement to Saradhapur gherry on Rajua right embankment near village Saradhapur

Clearing grass and removal of rubbish up to a distance of 50 meters outside disposal of unserviceable materials with all leads, lifts and dellifts with cost of all labour, T & P, labour welfarecess etc.complete as per the direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Earth work excavation in suitable type of soil in borrow area, loading into transport vehicle manually and transportation of earth by mechanical means and unloading the same over the approved surface of embankment in proper profiles with all leads, lifts, delifts etc. including rough dressing and breaking the clods to maximum 5 cm to 7 cm size including removal of roots, bushes, other deleterious materials from transported earth with all cost, carriage, royalty,DMF, EMF, additional charges , labour welfare cess & laying in layers not exceeding 22.50 cm in depth with hire & running charges of all machineries with all labour & T&P, taxes required for the work etc complete in all respects as per specification and the direction of the Engineer-In-Charge. (Measurement to be taken on finished Level Sections only and earth to be arranged by the contractor at his own cost and responsibility)

Excavation of foundation in hard soil or gravelly soil with all leads, lifts, delifts including dressing and levelling the bed to design section and depositing excavated materials away from working area in spoil banks with all leads, lifts and delifts including dewatering shoring shuttering and propping of bullah piles and construction of collar dam if required bailing piles and construction of coffer dam if required bailing out water with all cost, conveyance, labour and cess and all other taxes cess etc.complete as per approved drawing, design speification and direction of the Engineere-in-Charge.

Filling foundation and plinth with sand in layers not exceeding 22.50cm in thickness, well watered and rammed including cost, conveyance, royalty,DMF, EMF, additional charges of all materials with all leads,lifts and delifts, cost of all labour , T&P, taxes, labour welfare cess etc. complete as per specification and direction of the Engineer-in-charge.

Cement Concrete in (1:3:6) proportion using crusher broken hard granite coarse aggregate 40 mm size of good quality collected from approved quarry free from weathered skin and all deleterious materials using screened and washed coarse sand, mixing by mechanical mixer, placing in proper position, compacting by mechanical vibrator including cost, conveyance, royalty of all materials with all leads,DMF, EMF, additional charges lifts and delifts, centering and shuttering, curing, hire and running charges of all machineries, with cost of all labour,T&P, taxes, fixing of embedments if any and labour welfare cess etc complete as per specification and direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Reinforced Cement concrete M20 grade in approved surface using 20 mm size and down graded black hard granite crusher broken chips and sharp sand of approved grading from approved quarry for CC work conforming to specification, mixing by concrete mixture including hoisting and laying concrete in position,compacting with vibrator with all leads, lifts, delifts for mix concrete, royalty of all materials,DMF, EMF, additional charges , cess including dewatering, supplying T&P, curing for specified days by suitable means with supervision charges including mobilization and demobilization with cost of construction and dismantling of gangway and scaffolding, chute with all materials, approach road, diversion road, site illumination, hire and running charges of machineries required for the work as per approved drawing and specification complete with all cost as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supplying, straightening, cutting, bending, binding and tying the grills using uncoated HYSD bars of designed diametres and placing in position for fabrication and fixing the reinforcement grills including laps, ties, providing chairs and welding whenever necessary with all labour, T & P including cost,Royality,DMF, EMF, additional charges conveyance of steel and binding wires with all leads, lifts and delifts and labour welfare cess etc. complete and as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Rigid smooth centering and shuttering for Concrete works including false works and dismantling them after casting including cost, carriage of all materials labour, T&P, taxes required for the work with all leads lifts and delifts, labour welfare cess etc. complete in all respects as per specification and direction of the Engineer-In-Charge. i) R.C.C. walls & fins including attached pillasters etc.

Filling foundation and plinth with excavated earth in layers not exceeding 22.50cm in thickness, well watered and rammed including cost, conveyance and all other taxes of all materials with all leads,lifts and delifts, cost of all labour, T&P, taxes, labour welfare cess etc. complete as per specification and direction of the Engineer-in-charge.

Gravel backing to revetment and approns using good quality of moorum and watering the same to plastic state with all leads, lifts and delifts, hire and running charges of all equipments with cost, carriage, royalty, DMF, EMF, additional charges & taxes of all materials and labour welfare cess with all labour, T&P, taxes etc. complete in all respect and as per specification and direction of the Engineer-In-Charge.

Removing old revetments & repacking in approns and rough stone dry packings and stacking the old stones for reuse including dressing and levelling the embankment slope and surface, filling the raincuts and gullies with suitable earth including ramming and cutting to proper section and repacking by laying the old stones to proper profile including all labour, T&P, taxes, labour welfare cess etc. complete as per specification and direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and fixing of Weep Holes in Brick Masonry / Plain Concrete / RCC in abutment, wing wall and return wall etc. with 100 mm Dia AC pipes extending through full width of structure in slope of 1V:20H towards drawing face using cement mortar (1:3) with cost of all materials, T & P,curing, royalty, DMF, EMF, additional charges cess all complete as per drawing and technical specification and direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.(Measurement to be taken on finished section only)
