Excavation in trenches, not exceeding 1.5m wide and not exceeding 1.5m in depth and getting out in soft/loose soil and forming bottom surfaces of soil for laying of cable/pipe complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in (soils) including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers of 25 cm thick after the cables etc. are laid, jointed and tested complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Removal of surplus excavated spoil (Soils) not exceeding 50 Mtr distance and depositing where directed by Engineer-in-Charge at a level not exceeding 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified.

Supply and laying dry river sand to be laid in 8 cms before laying of cable and 15 cms above cable in trenche as cable cushioning and covering complete all as specified and directed. Note: for payment purpose punned thickness shall be measured
