REPAIR / REPLACEMENT OF EARTHING INFRASTRUCTURE INCLUDING LIGHTENING PROTECTION SYSTEM AT AIR FORCE STATION ADAMPUR

M&L for providing earthing with and including GI earth plate electrode 6 mm thick of size 600 mm x 600 mm with 4 mm dia GI wire earthing lead complete all as shown in electrical plate No. 3 and as per MES SSR Part-I specificatons including dismantling old, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for providing earthing with and including GI earth plate electrode 6 mm thick of size 600 mm x 600 mm with 25 mm x 4 mm GI strip earthing lead complete all as shown in electrical plate No. 3 and as specified in SSR Part-I specifications including dismantling old, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for providing earthing with and including GI earth plate electrode 6 mm thick of size 600 mm x 600 mm with 32 mm x 6 mm GI strip earthing lead complete all as shown in electrical plate No. 3 and as specified in SSR Part-I specifications including dismantling old, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for providing earthing IN REPLACEMENT with and including copper earth plate electrode 3.15 mm thick of size 600 mm x 600 mm with 20 mm x 3 mm copper earthing strip complete all as shown in electrical plate No. 3 and as specified in MES SSR Part-I. Note:- (a) The unit rate includes earthing lead and protection pipe upto 7.5 metre from top of earth plate. (b) Factory made PCC pit with cover shall be fixed at least 500mm away from the earth pit. (c) Earth resistance should be less than three Ohm. In case the test results are not found below three Ohm, complete earthing shall be redone by contractor without any extra cost to Govt .

M&L for providing maintenance free chemical pipe-in-pipe earthing electrode in replacement as per HEX Cat No. HSPC-503-100 (using copper plated pipe) or equivalent in TRUEPOWER including necessary excavation & earth work by making bore of 80 mm dia and 3500 mm in depth, all as recommended by manufacturers and connecting to earthing strip with necessary nuts, washers and bolts, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for providing maintenance free chemical pipe-in-pipe earthing electrode in replacement as per HEX Cat No. HSPG-503-100 (using hot dip galvanised pipe) or equivalent in TRUEPOWER including necessary excavation & earth work by making bore of 80 mm dia and 3500 mm in depth, all as recommended by manufacturers and connecting to earthing strip with necessary nuts, washers and bolts, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for providing Maintenance free Eco safe corrosion resistant earthing in replacement comprising the followings:-- (a) High tensile low carbon steel earth 3 metre Length and 17.2mm dia with 250 micron (average) molecularly bonded copper on the outer surface to conform with requirement of UL467 & IEC 62561-2 (Dia of the rod & UL Control Number allotted to the manufacturer should be embossed on the rod & UL certificate from the same manufacturer shall be submitted along with the material) (b) Back-fill earthing enhancing compound should strictly be a Eco Safe Carbon based conductive concrete type which has a resistivity of less than 0.12 Ohm Mtr as per Clause 14.5D of IEEE : 80 standard . Back-fill compound should be electronically conductive (Like in metals) and should not depend on moisture for conduction. Jef Eco Safe Carbon based compound shall be supplied in 20 Pounds Bag. Back-fill compound should be environment friendly, should solidify when mixed with water and set like concrete and should not leach / diffuse into the ground. Back-fill compound shall not be mixed with any soil while pouring in the bore hole. Test Certificate as per as per IEC : 62561-7 for Back-fill compound shall be submitted along with material. (c) Earth termination clamp either of gun metal / tinned copper or tinned brass for termination both round and flat conductors of required size (d) Supply of environmentally friendly rust proof heavy duty weather proof High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) Earth Pit Chamber.

Supply and fix in repair Cable with copper conductor size 16 Sqmm PVC round sheathed (flexible) industrial cable single core green colour as earth continuity conductor suitable to connect with item No 5 above with suitable copper lugs and accessories complete all specified and directed.
