Demolition of brickwork or stone/boulder masonry built in cement mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars etc., but excluding ashlar facing, dressed stone work and precast concrete articles, complete all as specified & directed.

Brickwork with sub-class ‘B’ bricks (old size), straight or curved on plan of any radius, built in cement mortar 1:4, complete all as specified & directed.

Description all as per item No.02 above, but except bricks, all as specified and directed.

15mm thick rendering in cement mortar 1:4 on fair faces of brick surfaces or concrete surfaces mixed with water proofing compound/ admixture as per manufacturer's instruction, finished the surface even and smooth without using extra cement, complete all as specified & directed. Note: water proofing compound/ admixture shall be measured and paid separately.

Supply only water proofing admixture

Excavation in trenches not exc. 1.5m wide and not exc. 1.5m in depth; for foundation etc. or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, etc. n exc 10 sqm on plan in any type of soil and getting out, complete all as specified & directed.

Demolition and breaking up drain pipes (Salt glazed ware) of 150mm internal dia set in cement mortar including demolition of concrete bed and haunching complete all as specified and directed.

Concrete bed in PCC 1:3:6 type-C-2 (using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregate) to drain pipe 150mm bore including packing under and haunching against the sides of pipes after they are laid and tested, complete all as specified and directed.

Salt-glazed stoneware drain pipe, grade ‘A’ internal dia of pipe 150mm, laid in trenches and jointed, complete all as specified & directed.

Returning, filling in (soil), including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc. 25cm, complete all as specifed & directed.

Removing excavated material to a distance not exc. 50m and depositing where directed at a level not exc. 1.5m above the starting point, complete all as specified & directed.

Cutting into existing manholes for connecting new drains, making good to pipe and rendering, cutting out existing benching for and forming branch channel (1/2 round or 3/4 section) in cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-1 smooth finished and reforming benching, internal dia of pipe 150mm, complete all as specified & directed.

PCC 1:4:8, nominal mix, type D-2 using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in foundations, filling & mass concrete, complete all as specified & directed.

PCC 1:2:4, B-1 (20mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in copings, hold fasts, plinth band, bed blocks, benching and like slightly rounded or chamfered angles as directed including necessary form work, complete all as specified.

Demolition of cement concrete (reinforced) of any description and in any position not otherwise specifically described (reinforement cut as required to facilitate demolition), complete all as directed.

Precast cement concrete (1:2:4) using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in landings, cover slab (for manholes etc), chullah hoods, chajjas, water troughs, shelves and similar articles with plain fair faces including chamfers, weatherings, throating etc. and setting in cement mortar (1:6) including necessary form work complete all as specified and directed.

TMT bars 6 to 8mm dia, cut to length, bent to shape required including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips, conforming to grade Fe-500, complete all as specified & directed.

Dismantling of cast iron pipes/RCC pipe/PVC pipes of any size jointed & fixed on wall, laid in trenches, and taking out from trenches, complete all as specified & directed. Note:- Earth work required for taking up or down pipe shall be measured & paid seperately under relevent item.

Cast iron (spun cast) soil , waste and vent pipe, 100mm bore in any length with or without ears with cement joints, fixed to walls with CI/MS holder bat clamps, complete all as specified & directed.

Systematically cleaning of 150mm/200mm dia pipe sewers/drains by passing rope, knots, bamboos, kempt and disc of required size from manholes to manholes, septic tank and well flushing after cleaning sewer line/drain pipe with water (excluding manholes and septic tanks) including safety measures such as test for existence of poisonous gas etc complete all as specified and directed.

Taking out/pumping contaminated sewage water/ sludge from septic tank/soakage well incl inlet/outlet chamber after plugging in incoming sewage line with suction(vaccum) type machine mounted on LMV/HMV and facility of high pressure vaccum and removing and dumping off the same in tank to a place out side contonment at the place marked for the purpose by local municipality or the authority controling the area as directed by Engr-in-charge. For the purpose of measurement and payment the net volume of the sewage water/ sludge is to be considered. Note :- Contractors are advised to ascertain the place suitable/earmarked for disposal of sludge/sewage water from local municipality or area controling authority before quoting their rates. Disposal of waste at suitable place shall be sole responsibility of contractors and no representation or objection in this regard will be entertained at any later stage.

Labour for opening/cleaning of blockage of manholes, gully traps, floor traps, vertical soils/ waste pipe of different dia at Sunderbani Mil Stn. (02 Person per month) Note - (a) The labour will report daily 0845hrs at complaint cell and attend complaints till 1645hrs given by Engr-in-Charge. Complaints needs to be clears with in 24hrs after receiving the complaints. The contractors will supply all T&P (Mechanical iron rods, knot ropes, bamboo etc) scaffolding ladders any other materials required to clear the blockages at the site without any extra cost. Labour for cleaning of sludge from sewage lines (any dia) to manhole is included in quoted rates. The recovery will be made from the contractors @100 Rs per complaint which are not cleared with in 24hrs from the time of receipt of complaints. Decision of Engr-in-Charge is final in this record. (b) Please note that labours to be employed under this item shall be paid as per prevaling min fair wages irrespective of whatever rate quoted by the contractor. (c) The payments due to the contractor shall only be made by e-payments. The contractor shall provide all the necessary details including bank account number, IFC code, NIFT etc. to the GE. If, however, the mode of payment is changed, no claim on account of the wages to be paid shall be entertained.
