REPAIR/MAINT OF SEPTIC TANKS, SOAKAGE WELL, SEWAGE LINES AND ALLIED WORKS AT AF STN THOISE AND BASE CAMP UNDER GE(AF) THOISE

M&L Cleaning, de-sludging and de-watering of septic tanks/grease traps, soakage well/pits, manholes by pumping or manually from inside the septic tank and removal of sludge depositing in excavated pits (required size and depth) to a distance exc 50 M not exc 1.50 Km. Top layers of excavation pit covered by layers of 150 mm depth earth spreading with bleaching powder @ 200 gm per sqm for disinfections purpose complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note:- (i) After dewatering, sludge will be measured as paid. (ii) The rate of excavation of earth pits of required size and deptyh with 50 m from septic tank and bleaching powder is deemed to be inclusive in the item. (iii) The tank shall be cleaned every times during currency of contract and the same quantity repeated for every payment.

Cleaning of blocked, drain pipe sewage line any type & dia in horizontal or vertical position by rodding from man hole to man hole ends to septic tanks/soakage wells, well flushing after taking out existing man hole covers, taking out sludge and other materials blocked the drain pipes excavation of pits carriage and leveling of spoil pits after burying of sludge and removal of surplus spoil to a distance not exceeding 50 mtr complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&Lfor cleaning blockage of gully trap of any size and depth,WC, Urinal, WHB etc by dewaterring and getting out of foreign materials scum etc. and removing outside defence land including CI/SWG pipe of any dia from gully trap, WC, Urinal, WHB any floor to manhole of building complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5m wide and not exceeding 1.5m in depth; for foundation/sewage line and getting out in hard/dense soil complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Returning filling in including spreading levelling watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick, in hard/dense soil complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Removal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 meter and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 meter above the starting point complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Demolition and breaking up drain pipes 150mm SWG pipe, set in cement mortar complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Demolition and breaking up drain pipes 100mm SWG pipe, set in cement mortar complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for providing PCC (1:3:6) type C-2 as in concrete bed to drain pipes including packing under and haunching against the sides of pipes of bore 150mm on after they are laid and tested complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

All as per Item Ser No 11 above but 100mm dia pipes complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for Salt glazed stone ware drain pipe 150 mm dia grade A laid in trenches and jointed in cement mortar 1:1 complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

All as per item No 13 above but for 100 mm dia complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

S&F in repair PVC(SWR) pipes 150mm bore, double socketd , In any length with rubber ring joints , in any length laid in floors complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Demolition of cement concrete (unreinforced) of any description and in any position & in ground floor and paving n.exc.15cm thickness (below or above ground floor) not otherwise specifically provided for as in plinth protection, hardstanding, toilet subbase etc, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for 75mm thick PCC 1:3:6 type C2 using 40 mm graded stone aggregate as in plinth protection, hardstanding, toilet subbase etc, surface finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Cutting into existing manholes for connecting new drains, making good to pipe and rendering, cutting out existing benching for and forming branch channel (1/2 round and 3/4 section) in cement concrete 1:2:4 type B1 smooth finished, and reforming benching as required for 150mm internal dia of pipes complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

All as per Item Ser No 18 above but 100mm dia pipes complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Demolition of reinforced cement concrete of any description and in any position not otherwise specifically provided for (reinforcement cut as required to facilitate demolition) as in Manhole cover, Septic tank cover slab, Soakwell cover slab etc,, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and Fix TMT bars 10mm dia and over (confirming to Fe-410-S or Fe-410-0) cut to length, bent to shape required including cranking & binding with mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for providing pre-cast RCC (1:2:4) type 'B-1' as in cover slabs of manholes, septic tanks, soakage wells and similar location (using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregates) including necessary form work and set in cement mortar (1:4) complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Demolition of Brickwork or stone/ boulder masonry, built in cement mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars, etc but excluding ashlar facing, dressed stone work and pre cast concrete articles, Complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Material and labour for providing precast cement concrete block of PCC (1:3:6) type-C1 in masonry with solid blocks, as in Manhole, septic tank wall etc, exceeding 10cm in width & set in cement mortar (1:4) complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Taking down cement plaster on brick, stone/concerete surface etc including racking out joints hacking for key scrubbing down with water, etc built in cement mortar complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for 15mm thick redering in cement mortar (1:4) on conerete surface of wall and using WPC @ 3% by weight of cement (WPC shall be measured and paid seperatly) and is to be finished even and smooth (without using extra cement) complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour PCC (1:2:4) type B-1 (using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in coping/benching, surface channels and drains or similar etc complete incl necessary form work complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply only Integrated water proofing compound ISI marked complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

S&F in repair PVC (SWR) floor trap, 75mm dia outlet, plain with grating incl jointing with solvent cement complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Dismantling of Cast iron or reinforced concerete drain pipe, jointed in cement mortar 100mm dia pipe complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

S & F for Cast iron soil, waste and vent pipes in any length with or without ears, with cement joints, laid in trenches or in floors 100mm dia complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Dismantling of floor, hearth or wall tiling including cement mortar bedding (but not backing), removing serviceable tiles to store and rubbish off the premises complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Joint free Non - skid ceramic coloured tiles 7 to 8 mm thick over 15 mm thick screed bed in CM 1:4, area of each tile exceeding 0.06 sqm but not exceeding 0.11 sqm, in floors etc. set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match complete all as specified and directed.
