AMF Panel

Cubical type floor mounted AMF panel made from 14 SWG Sheet Steel, duly pretreated, powder coated painted and aesthetically finished, suitable for controlling of 62.5 KVA DG set having following specification / features.

i)2 No. 125 A AC 3 duty, 4pole power contactor and U/V release etc. [make: ABB, Legrand, Schneider]

ii) 1 Nos. 125 A, 3pole, 50 KA MCCB with microprosser based LSIG protection. [make: Legrand]

iii) In Built By-Pass switch for rated capacity

iv) On -delay timer for load change over

v) On-delay timer for engine shut off

vi) Engine On-Off switch (Push button type)

viii) Minimum five number indicating lamps to indicate 'mains ON', 'load on mains', Set running', 'load on set' and 'battery charger on'.

ix) Audio visual alarm for 'Low lubricating oil pressure', 'High water temperature, Start failure', and DG over load'.

The AMF panel must be designed to ensure trouble free performance and ensure switching over Electrical Load to DG within 15 (fifteen) second from the instant of mains failure.

Acoustic Enclosure

The DG set should have integrated acoustic enclosure at the manufacturing state itself. High quality acoustic enclosure must be certified as per CPCB-II norms.

Base Frame

Common iron channel fabricated base frame containing the engine and alternator, mounted on AVM pads and having provision for lifting Hook.

Terms & Conditions

(i) Rate should be quoted inclusive of all applicable taxes and Duty etc.

(ii) All materials, equipments & accessories must conform to relevant IS specifications. The DG Set to be supplied must be from the authorized OEM of the respective Engine Manufacturer.

(iii) Necessary manufacturer's test certificate for Diesel Engine, Alternator etc. Will have to submit in triplicate copy during delivery of the equipment.

(iv) Copy of "Type Approval Certificate" and Certificate of "COP" must be produced at the time of delivery issued from competent Authority (As per CPCB-II).

(v) Circuit Diagram for AMF Panel must be submitted from the Manufacturer / OEM.

(vi) The entire set must be warranted at least 15 months from the date of Delivery / 12 months/ 5000 Hrs from the date of Commissioning whichever is earlier. However Engine & Alternator should be warranted of 2 years / 5000 Hrs, whichever is earlier.

(vi) During commissioning, the DG set has to be made to run for atleast six hours at a stretch on atleast 75% load at the cost (cost of fuel, operator and technical personnel) of the agency entrusted with the work and the agency will have to provide permanently multi-core control cables as required with allied accessories including laying of the same before commissioning of the DG set. NOTE- If any refurbished material is supplied and installed, penal action will be taken as per existing rules

Installation of DG

Supply & fixing of exhaust gas piping of suitable dia welded black MS class B pipe incl. all necessary bend supports , clamps, Rain protect Canopy, anti vibration mounting insulation of exhaust system with 50mm thick mineral wool covered with wire mesh and aluminium cladding ( from DG sets to top of the building plus 3mtr or as per CPCB) for 62.5 KVA DG set as per direction of EIC. including Hire charges for scaffolding by bamboo required rope of square type arrangement for smooth working & carriage of MS black pipe by vertical run & dismantling at the end of work.

Sypply & Delivery of 200 Ltr capacity capacity Heavy Gauge PVC container.

Supply & delivery of best quality oil hand pump with 1" dia PVC flexible pipe (12' ft. approx.)

Earthing for DG

S& laying 120 sq. mm. single core multistrand PVC insulated flexible Cu wire in suitable size of PVC flexible pipe (reinforced) from nutral earth busbar to transformer point as required (for Transformer / Generator neutral earthing) including Socketing both sides by Cu Socket.

Making connection of Power cables between AMF & DG & DG Panel after necessary finishing ends & proper Glanding. As per PWD Schedule and as per direction of EIC

Earthing with 50 mm dia GI pipe 3.64 mm thick x 3.04 Mts. long and 1 x 4 SWG GI (Hot Dip) wire (4 Mts. long), 13 mm dia x 80 mm long GI bolts, double nuts, double washers incl. S & F 15 mm dia GI pipe protection (1 Mts. long) to be filled with bitumen partly under the ground level and partly above ground level driven to an average depth of 3.65 Mts. below the ground by ISI-Medium GI pipe.

Excavation of soil for installation of Earth Electrode and filling & ramming for Morrum Soil

Connecting the equipments body to earth busbar incl. S & F 25 mm x 6 mm Galvanized (Hot Dip) MS flat on wall/floor with GI saddle as required and connection to equipments with incl. drilling holes, bolts, nuts, washers etc.

Making PCC foundation (ratio 1:2:4) of weight 2.5 times of the operating weight of DG set and of approximate depth of 200 mm belowground surface and height of 150mm above ground surface with 3mm thick smooth cement finish to provide leveled surface for placement of the acoustic enclosure. The length and breadth of the platform shall be at least 250mm more than the size of the enclosure. Genset shall be mounted on AVMs inside the enclosure. The platform levels to be checked diagonally as well as across the length for even flatness. The platform shall be within +/-0.5 degree (angle) of any horizontal plane. The contractor shall submit the drawings for approval from the EIC and manufacturer recommendation. before proceeding with the work.

Supply Delivey of 4 core 35 sqmm XLPE/A Alu cable. (Make- Polycab / KEI / Finolex/RR Cable)

Laying of one No. cable upto 35 sqmm in underground trench 460 mm wide x 760 mm average depth, with brick protection on the top of the cable with 8 (eight) Nos. bricks per metre, including filling the space between the brick & cable and also the trench with shifted soil, leveling up and restoring surface duly rammed

Supplying and fixing compression type gland complete with brass gland, brass ring & rubber ring for dust & moisture-proof entry of XLPE/PVC armoured cables as below :

Finishing the end of following XLPE/PVC armoured cables by crimping method incl. supplying and fixing solderless socket (Dowels make), tapes, anticorrosive paste & jointing materials :

Supplying & fixing medium gauge 100 mm dia GI Pipe ( ISI-Medium) Protection with necessary fittings and jointing metarials as required.
