S&F Wind ties for roof including securing bolts; including cutting as directed including all necessary drilling, bolting or riveting, etc., and similar work conforming to Fe-290 Gde E-165 complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of brick work or stone/boulders masanory built in cement mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars etc, but excluding ashler facing, dressed stone work and precast concrete articals complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Brickwork with subclass ‘B’ bricks, straight or curved on plan exc 6m mean radius built in built in cement mortar 1:6 complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling of terracing tiles/brick tiles single layer on roof,laid bedded and pointed in any mortar complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition by using hand held electric drills, cutting machine, chisels etc (direct use of hammers on RCC roof for demolition is strcitly prohibited) of roof treatment including padding concrete of any description including mud in roof any thickness with and including roughening old concrete surfaces by picking, sweeping clean and washing down with water to remove dust etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for cement concrete type B0 (1:2:4 ) (using 12.5 mm graded stone aggregate) as in padding and coping,incl hunching, benching etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 10 mm thick in CM(1:3) rendering on fair faces concrete surfaces / roof top mixed with liquid water proofing compound finished even & smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed. Note : Liquid WPC shall be measured and paid separately.

Supply only liquid water proofing compound complete all as specified and directed.

M&L roof kerb of cement concrete 1:2:4 type B0 mixed with and including SBR ploymer as manufacturer's instructions all around periphery of the wall complete all specified and directed.

M&L preparation of newly plastered surfaces of roof including cleaning the surfaces by using wire brush / pressure hose and applying high performance polyurethene liquid membrane waterproofing coating cold applied in two coats @ 1.5Kg /Sqm/ 2 coats spray/ brush applied, with an elongation of 300% to 700% and tensile strength of not less than 3 N/Sqmm as per ASTM D412 and ASTM D2370, crack bridging abiltity of 3.5mm as per ASTM C1305, shore a hardness of not less than 60 as per ASTM D2240. The item includes applying epoxy primer @ 0.15Kg/Sqm and a geotextile of 40 GSM to be applied over first coat while first coat is still wet,complete as per manufacturer's instructions complete all as specified and directed. Note: 1. The contractor shall submit a gurantee of 10 years from the date of completion of work for waterproofing treatment alongwith manufacturer's gurantee. The amount of Rs. 40 ( Forty ) per Sqm and min of Rs. 4000/- for waterproofing treatment shall be withheld from contractor's final bill till the expiry of gurantee period. The contractor at his own option may furnish fix deposit receipt pledged in favour of GE(I) Kanpur against guarantee money. 2. The water proofing shall be carried out by authorised applicator of manufacturer. The name of applicator shall be got approved from GE before commencement of work.

M&L for grouting using polymer modified waterproof grout.The detail procedure of inject grouting is as under: (i) Drilling of 12mm dia holes upto 40mm depth and provide PVC nozzles/ entry ports over grid@ 1m c/c or less depending upon situation. (ii) Before injecting the grout compressed air to be blown to remove all dist and dirt. (iii) Grouting atpressure of 5kg/sqcm to be don till refusal/ rejection or appearance of grout from adjacent nozzle. (iv) Observe the cracks and make V groove along. (v) Nozzles and V groove shall be filled with polymer based mortar.

M&L for Cutting out cracks to V-section in existing roofs or terracing, cleaning out, wetting, grouting with cement and sand slurry 1:3 complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Wire brushing and cleaning top surface of tiles, lime terracing or cement concrete, including flashings and junction of parapets, etc., and surface painting, with a layer of blown grade bitumen of any penetration applied hot @ 1.7 kg per sq. m, blinded with grit or pea size gravel @ 0.006 cum per sqm, and lightly tampered (area of flashings, etc., shall be added to the roof area) complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for water proofing treatment to RCC roof with 3mm thick weight not less than 3.6kg/sqm, APP modified polymeric membrance non wooven polyster reinforcement without mineral finish or top to be laid by torch application method. On the dried surface applying one coat of approved bituminous primer @ 300 Grams/Sqm with torch application, laid with over laps of 100 mm joints of traverse direction and 75 mm at longitudinal direction duly thermofused by flame torch all as specified in application manual of the company. A coat of hot blown bitumen 85/25 @ 1.20kgs /Sqm are to be applied on surface complete all as specified and directed.

Removing of demolished meterial to a distance of exc 100m and n exc 200m or under, beyond the lead included in the rates, including loading, unloading complete all as specified and directed

Taking up or down steel tubing and connections of 15 mm bore including fittings of any type and material complete all as specified and directed.

Taking up or down 20 mm dia steel tubing and connection including removal of fittings of any type and material complete and all as specified and directed.

Cutting chases, pinning in, in brick wall making good to facings where required and pointing in cement mortar 1:3 to ends or edges of landings, steps, cills, sunshades, shelves, lintels, etc. and cutting chases for concealed water tubing or concealed conduit wiring. etc. and making good, cutting not exceeding 10cm girth complete all as specified and directed.
