EARTHWORK EXCAVATION for foundation in all soils and sub soils to full depth as may be directed except in hard rock requiring blasting but including shoring, shuttering and bailing out water wherever necessary and refilling the sides of foundation with excavated earth in layers of not more than 15cm. thick well rammed consolidated and depositing the surplus earth within the compound in places shown by the departmental officers with initial lead and lift, etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.

Supplying and filling in foundation, basement and trenches with FILLING M. SAND in layers of not more than 15cm thick, well watered, rammed and consolidated etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.

PLAIN CEMENT CONCRETE 1:5:10 (One cement, five M.sand and ten aggregate) using 40mm gauge hand broken hard granite stone jelly laid in layers of not more than 15cm thick, well rammed for FOUNDATION and FLOORING including laying, consolidating, finishing, rendering the top surface rough to receive the floor, curing, dewatering if found necessary, planking for panelling wherever necessary etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers

Supplying and filling of GRAVEL in layers of not more than 15cm thick, well watered, rammed and consolidated etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers

Providing and laying in position, Standardised Concrete Mix M-20 Grade in accordance with IS:456-2000, using 20mm and down graded hard broken granite stone jelly for all RCC items of works with minimum cement content of 325 kg/mᶾ and maximum water cement ratio of 0.55, including admixture (Plasticizer / super Plasticizer) in recommended proportions as per IS:9103 to accelerate, retard setting of concrete, improve workability without impairing strength and durability with about (5 cu.m.) 7730 kg. of 20mm machine crushed stone jelly and with about (3.3 cu.m.) 5156 kg. of 10-12mm machine crushed stone jelly and with about (4.79 cu.m.) 7670 kg. of sand, but excluding cost of reinforcement grill and fabricating charges, centering and shuttering and also including laying, vibrating with mechanical vibrators, finishing, curing, etc. and providing fixtures like fan clamps in the RCC floor/ roof slabs wherever necessary without claiming extra, etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers. The coarse and fine aggregates to be used should comply with the requirements of IS Standards. (No separate payment will be made by the department for the excess usage of materials).

For Foundation & Basement

For superstructure in Ground floor

Supplying, fabricating and placing in position mild steel / ribbed tor steel rods for all RCC works including cutting, bending to required shape and placing in position, cost of steel and binding wire and all labour charges, conveyance etc. in all floors. complete complying with standard specfication and as directed by the departmental officers..

Supplying and erecting CENTERING including necessary supports for the plane surfaces such as RCC COLUMN FOOTING, Column pedestals, PLINTH BEAM, GRADE BEAMS & SILL BEAMS etc., which require only nominal strutting in all floors using mild steel sheets of size 90cm x 60cm and BG 10 stiffened with welded mild steel angles of size 25mm x 25mm x 3mm for boarding supported by casuarina props of 10cm X 13cm dia spaced at about 75cm centre to centre or at suitable intervals supported by casuarina props of 10cm to 13cm dia spaced at suitable intervals etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.(For PLINTH BEAM)

Supplying and erecting CENTERING for sides and soffits including supports and strutting upto 3.29m high for plane surfaces such as RECTANGULAR COLUMNS top and bottom slabs of boxing sunshades etc., in all floors with all cross bracings using mild steel sheets of size 90cm x 60cm and BG 10 stiffened with welded mild steel angles of size 25mm x 25mm x 3mm for boarding laid over country wood joists of size 10cm x 6.50cm spaced at about 90cm centre to centre and supported by casuarina props of 10cm to 13cm dia spaced at 75cm centre to centre etc., complete complying with the standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers. (For COLUMN and SUNSHADE)

BRICK WORK in cement mortar 1:5 (One cement and five M.sand) using best quality II class chamber burnt bricks of size 23x11x7cm (9" x 43/8" x 23/4") including curing etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers. (Masonry projections wherever necessary for obtaining required elevation shall be done without extra cost.) - For Foundation and basement

Brick work in cement mortar 1:6 (One cement and six M.sand) using best quality II class chamber burnt bricks of size 23x11x7cm including curing etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers. (Masonry projections wherever necessary for obtaining required elevation shall be done without extra cost.) - For superstructure in ground floor

Plastering with cement mortar 1:5 (one cement and five P.sand) 12mm thick for walls in all floors including necessary scaffolding, curing, neat finishing etc., complete complying with standard specifications and as directed by the departmental officers

Supplying,fabricating and erecting in position of required number of TRUSSES (tubular sections) using MS hollow sections (square, rectangular and circular cross sections) for all truss members including cleats to receive the purlins, cutting, drilling holes, welding and fixing of members with necessary bolts, nuts, anchor bolts of approved quality, hoisting, aligning and glazing the trusses in position as per the design given. The rate should be included of cost of painting the members with one coat of red oxide primer and zinc chromate etc., Complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.

Supplying and fixing of colour metal roofing sheet of 0.47mm thickness (Galvalume sheet) of approved brand and quality including cost of necessary machine type screws, nuts, cub washers, bitumen washers etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.

PAINTING NEW IRON WORKS for doors, windows and ventilators, iron bars, weldmesh, wiremesh, screen, steel bars, flats and other similar works etc., with two coat of approved best quality of synthetic enamel paint over the existing red oxide primer in all floors. The rate is inclusive of cost of all materials and labour, brushes and scaffolding charges etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers. (The paint to be used should be got approved by the departmental officer before use on work)

PAINTING the wall surface with TWO COATS of Exterior emulsion paint of the approved colour and quality for outer wall surfaces as per specification including ONE COAT OF PRIMER to give an even shade, at the external walls with necessary scrapping including cost of brushes and all other materials required and the scaffolding charges etc., Complete complying with the standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.(The paint to be used should be got approved by the departmental officer before use on work)

Labour charges for finishing the flooring with hydraulic mechanical devices (paver finish) using power ramming and power finishing etc., complete as directed by the departmental officers.

WHITE WASHING ONE COAT using best quality of white cement (KOTTAYAM) in all floors including cost of white cement, brushes, scaffolding charges and any other materials required etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers. (The rate is inclusive of cost of gum, best quality of blue powder).

PLAIN CEMENT CONCRETE 1:2:4 (One cement, two M.sand and four aggregate) using 20mm gauge hand broken hard granite stone jelly laid in layers of not more than 15cm thick, well rammed for FOUNDATION and FLOORING including curing, dewatering if found necessary, planking for panelling wherever necessary etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers

Supplying and fixing of approved quality of CHAIN LINK of size 2" x 2" using 10 gauge galvanised iron wire (all sizes) for tying in the pattern as per the drawing supplied using 12 gauge G.I. Wire / Binding wire etc.complete and as directed by the departmental officers
