SCHEDULE G-1- Construction of RCC Overhead Tank

Construction of RCC Overhead Tank of 1750 KL Capacity at 25 m Staging from made up level (Made Up Level of OHT shall be taken as minimum 0.60 m above from nearby existing approach road level)

Submission of design, drawing and supply of all material, labour T&P etc. and construction as per tenderer's own provided seismic proof design and drawings (approved by the department) complete Intze type tank, on raft or pile cum raft foundation with columns and braces R.C.C. Over Head Tank 1750 KL capacity at 25 m staging from made up level of OHT at site to the top of bottom ring beam of tank. Made up level of OHT will be taken as 0.60 m above from nearby existing approach road level. Earth required for made up level & Brick work required for apron will be arranged by the contractor at his own cost. No extra payment will be paid for this work. The design of the tank shall be based on safe bearing capacity of soil at site as 8 T/m2 and depth of foundation as 2.50 m from existing ground level on pile/raft foundation. If the bearing capacity of soil is found less than 8 T/m2 as per test report, the contractor will submit the design on the B.C. proposed by the NABL approved reputed testing agency. No extra payment will be made for this change. If the B.C. is found more than 8 T/m2 as per testing report than the design of OHT shall be done at B.C 8 T/m2 and depth 2.50 m or the depth suggested by testing agency (greater of the two depths). All other details of tank not covered here shall also be as per specifications enclosed. ITEM 1.03 & 1.04 ARE SOME DETAILS (NOT LIMITED TO) OF WORK WHICH ARE TO BE DONE DURING CONSTRUCTION OF OHT AND THEIR COST IS INCLUDED IN ITEM 1.02. (NO EXTRA PAYMENT WILL BE CLAIMED/MADE).

Soil testing Submission of detailed design and drawing including its vetting shall be done from any recognized Government University such as I.I.T./NIT/State Govt./ Centre Govt. institutions / organizations or as per direction of Engineer-in-charge. R.C.C. work will be strictly as per approved design including fixing various pipes and S.S ventilator at the top and fixing of S.S. sheet of 10 mm gauge manhole cover of 60 cm x 60 cm size with frame and locking arrangement and railing including supply of all material complete in all respect. Water bar's / water stoppers of 18mm gauge and 30 cm wide (15cm below the joint and 15cm above the joint) along the joint of cylindrical wall of over head tank at every lift / joint should be provided. Supply and fixing of S.S. ladder, inside the tank body from roof to the bottom dome of the tank in a slope of 3: 1 (3 vertical: 1 horizontal) with railing as specified. Railing on staircase & its landings, all around balcony & top dome for access up to ventilator as per specifications including supply of all material. Railing shall be provided in three rows of G.I. pipe (medium) 20mm dia. (min.). Box type enclosure at the entrance of the staircase upto first landing having locking arrangement should be provided. Supply and fixing of digital water level indicator along with all necessary equipments such as inverter etc. as per specifications and fixing of lightening arrestor, conductor and earth plate etc. as per specifications. Cost Included in Item 1.02

Supply of all materials and construction of 100 mm thick R.C.C. floor apron and 15 cm dia. semi circular drain around apron in a slope towards wash out chamber with glass strips, with base concrete 1:3:6 with stone ballast of thickness 150mm.Three coats of approved quality and shade of Apex ultima Paint as per direction of Engineer-in-charge over concrete work including supply of all materials etc. Three coats of anti corrosive / aluminum / black Japan paint of approved quality on all iron work including supply of all material, labour and T&P etc complete in all respect.Supplying and fixing of all required sizes CI. D/F sluice valves kirloskar make , RCC overflow chamber & Sluice Valve Chamber as per relevant latest I.S. specifications at below ground level or as per direction of E/I including supply of all jointing and other make materials such as rubber insertion sheet, nut bolts, washer etc, complete as per Specifications. Supply and fixing of DI Class K-9 pipes:- 250 mm dia in inlet (2 nos), 400 mm dia in outlet; 400 mm dia in overflow;150 mm dia in washout. The words U.P. Jal Nigam (Urban), year of construction, capacity of O.H.T. with staging and slogan approved by Engineer in charge shall be painted prominently in Block Letters not less than 30 cm in height. Testing of tank for water tightness as per specifications enclosed/ as per CPHEEO Manual including supply of water. Trial & Run of 3 months, maintenance of work ( till handing over or date of shedule complision whichever is later) and defect liability period of 12 months after handing over to Nagar Palika Parishad Muzaffarnagar including supply of all materials, labour, T&P etc. complete in all respect. Cost Included in Item 1.02
