Supply, installation & commissioning and testing in replacement of SHF/VRLA Battery, Battery charge panel comprising 12 Nos. 2 Volts 100 AH tubular cell, self contained floor mounted sheet steel cabinet with two tiers for housing the batteries. The charging equipment will be operated from 240Volt +/- 10%, 50 c/s supply. The cabinet should be complete and internally wired auto/mannual switch. The charger unit should house, resstance control DC ammeter , Voltmeter and fuses, AC supply failure alarm. Complete accessories required for commissioning is included in the scope of work. DC distribution board comprising of 63 Amps DPMCB as incomer and 2 nos of 15 A DP MCB as O/G Battery Charger with batteries Automatic Float cum Bboost charger of 16 A to give 24 V DC output at 60 Ah capacity
Opening of the VCB , 11 KV 400 to 800 Amps of any make by removing of the Breaker from the existing position after disconnecting all the connections from the system, servicing, Overhauling of the same, checking of the same for proper operation, spring charge, charged control cables are fastened tightly to the terminals, any abnormality, VCB, cleaning the surface of the insulators, fasten the bolts, checking and correcting interrupting units, mechanism, linkages etc, fasten the hardwares of control wiring, check that the split pins, Circlips, dowell pins etc. have not come out and are intact, lubricate the mechanism, moving parts by castrol, all purpose grease or equivalent, check that the vaccum pots/chambers is within limit including opening of the shutters properly, replacing of the trip catch, roller, holding catch, stopper, close push button, closing cum reassembling, controll limit switches reconnecting of the breaker for smooth functioning all as directed.
Shifting of Transformer from substations to variours substation /transformers locations in the area of AGE(U) E/S No III by road using and removing the faulty transformer by fxing/errecting of the healthy tansformer with the hydra/crane support making the necessary HT/LT cable connections earth connections and restoration of power supply all as specified and directed.
Taking down unserviceable sheet gasket (Cork sheet), Supply and fix synthetic rubberized cork sheet gasket 6mm 2' x 3' size sheet thick for top cover HT/LT bushes at places existing and tighting all the bushings and top cover to avoid any oil leakages of capacity 160 KVA to 500 KVA complete all as specified and directed
Decarbunizing/cleaning complete HT cable ougoing/Incoming circuit of CTs & PTs, 3 phase, cleaning with CTC and ensure proper decarburizing, re-fixing the same after applying backtol (Red) solution to the spout, checking all the connections, tightening the nuts, bolts thimbles for incoming and outgoing system complete, as specified and directed, rate quoted is inclusive of bactol red, CTC & cotton waste provided by contractor. Material and labour for painting of LT/HT pannels by duly cleaning the surface from dust and grease and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint by using spray gun colour as directed by the Eng - in - Charge and lettering the LT pannels with black/white paint using stencils or making lettering by using stickering with minium size of letter to be of 5 Cm all as specified and directed
M&L for replacement Earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode of size 60cmx60cmx6 mm thick, buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.10 m below normal ground level) with top edge of earth plate not less than 1.5m below normal ground level, connected to galvanized iron strip 32 x 6mm by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanised iron or steel as shown in electrical plate No 3 of SSR Part I, connected to earth test point and the equipment on the other nuts and washers of galvanised ironside complete all as specified, including testing and commissioning complete all as directed. Note : (a) The unit rates quoted against this item shall be deemed to include the cost of excavation and earth work in any type of soil, common salt & charcoal dust in alternate layers, PCC 1:3:6 as in pit, precast RCC 1:2:4 type B-1 with necessary reinforcement as in cover & frame for pit, funnel, watering pipe 20 mm bore GI pipe light grade, protection pipe 40 mm bore GI pipe medium grade etc. (b) The quoted rates shall also deemed to include the cost of earth test point and earth strip/GI lead wire and protection pipe upto 7.5 meter beyond the earth plates electrode.
M&L in replacement mild steel chequered plate 10 mm thick including cutting of suitable size for duct cover at site complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.
M&L in replacement of Cable jointing kit for 11 KV (Earthed) grade cable for indoor termination heat shrink type joint complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE armoured aluminium conductor cable of 120 sqmm to 185 sqmm.
Material and labour for painting to the both sides of fencing of the transformer/RMU by scraping the existing surface and applying a coat of synthetic enamel paint of the existing colour and complete all as specifed and directed.
Calibration of all the electromagneitic/ thermal/ microprocessor relays of and 11 KVand setting the relay tripping timings in advance to the feeding sub station to ensure pock wise re-installation of various relays in position with complete testing and commissioning. Ensure proper functioning. Note :- (a). Primary & secondary injection kit shall be arranged by the contractor (b) DC Supply for relay testing shall arranged by the contractor. (c) The contractor shall prepare the relay adjustment and tripping timing chart in the follow up fashion and submit to Engineer-in-Charge
M&L in replacement for 32x6 mm galvanised iron strip for earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or buried in ground or drawn in pipe or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc complete all as specified and directed.
Material and labour for complete bush cutting /trimming of trees around the substations/ transformers and under over head lines complete all as specified and directed.
M&L replacement for danger notice board of 1.6 mm thick mild steel,vitreous enamelled white with letters,figures and conventional skull and bones in signal red colour and fixed with MS clamps,bolts and nuts of approved size for HT 25 x 20 CM size complete.
Material and labour in replacement for providing galvanised chian link fencing of height 2 meters from GL right arround the 11 KV 4 pole structure/RMU/ transformers structures with ms angular of size 60 x 60 x 6mm thick duly painted with a coat of red oxide and two coats of synthetic enamel paint grouted with post holes and PCC at span of every meter distance around along with 1 mtr width hinged gate and providing of slag brick work of 2 feet height from Ground level with proper basement and plastering the surface with 1:6 ratio right arround the fencing complete as specified by the engineer in charge.
Filtration/dehydration of 11 KV /433 VPower / distrubution transformer oil through filtration plant to improve the dielectric strength/insulation valve of the transformer oil upto 60 KV at a gap of min 2.5 mm of electrodes. (a) The contractor will take shut down orders in working before commencement of the work from Engineer-in-charge. (b) The contractor shall ensure no wastage at transformer oil. (c) The Contractor is solely responsible for any damage to the transformer during filtration operations. He is responsible for making good any damage to the transformer at his own cost without any extra cost to the department. (d) The contractor shall ensure that the conservator tanks are full to its level before starting the dehydration. Note : Oil for Top up will be measure and paid separatly under respective items. (e) the di-electric strenght of oil shall be tested before & after filtration. Test results shall be submitted to engineer-in-charge
Material and labour for preparation of old painted surfaces of floor mounted indoor/outdoor type transformer from 100 KVA to 500 KVA capacity by cleaning/rubbing with course cloth wire brushes to remove dust deposits oil grease and repainting by applying one coat of spray paint with synthetic enamel paint of approved colour without disturbing/damaging the electrical net work system/equipment including making of capacity /rating /incoming outgoing details in capital english alphabet of size all as specified and directed.
All as per item No 30 above but from 630 KVA to 1000KVA
Supply and fix in replacement of silica gel breather assembly complete with breather unit and silica gel including connecting with proper rubberised gasket and necessary fittings GI fittings for fixing/assembling upto 1000KVA transformer complete by removing the unserviceable silica gel breather assembly all as specified and directed. Make : Patel Electrical Industries or equivalent recommende by OEM
Supply, filling and for topping up the transformer with new transformer oil duly filtered with filtration plant. Note : (a) The transformer oil shall be type EHV confirming to IS - 335(2018) (b) Mineral oil grade shall be used. (c ) The transformer oil should have a high dielectric strength not less than 60 KV at a gap of min 2.5 mm of electrodes.
Taking down burnt defective drawnout/inlet Valve (Brass any size) and supply and fixing new drawn out/Inlet valve (brass as per existing size) suitable for any make of 100 to 500KVA Transformer all as specified and directed

Taking down defective unserviceable LT bush porcelain insulator and supply and fix news LT bush porcelain insulator with oil seal for transformer outdoor/indoor up to 500KVA all as specified and directed

Taking down defective unserviceable HT bush porcelain insulator and supply and fix news HT bush porcelain insulator for transformer outdoor/indoor up to 750 KVA all as specified and directed

Isolating the HT supply of transformer, disconnecting HT and LT connections of transformer by opening clamps, bus bar extension and isolating the cables from transformer, outdoor/Indoor of 250 to 500 KVA capacities, checking of transformer pressure release valve, oil condition and carrying out tests such as HV/LV megger test, ratio test, magnetic balance test, short circuit test including opening theinspection cover/top lid after drain out of oil as required to check the lead condition from winding to bus rods including necessary soldering/jointing etc, and charging of transformer and making all necessary connections / assembly & control circuits all as specified and directed. Note :- Test results shall be submitted through the Engineer-in-charge to Accepting Officer.
All as above item but no.40 of capacity 630 KVA to 1000KVA
Lifting of transformer core of capacity 160 to 750 KVA and keeping the core inside oven chamber to removing of moisure and increasing of the insulation value of core and drying the core assembly for minimum 3 days at a temp of 120oC Note :- (a) Cost for lifting/lowering the core of transformer by crane is inclusive. (b) Labour for fixing the connection/removal of connection inside the heating chamber is inclusive. (c) Power consumption for heating core for improving insulation value is inclusive. (d) Temperature 120oC to be maintained and inclusive in rate quoted.
Disconnecting defective out door/indoor transformers, 11KV/433 V of various capacities up to to 1000 KVA from HT/LT sides taking down transformer oil completely, storing oil in suitable container (to be provided by the contractor), lifting the top cover and core assembly carefully and checking the conditions, refilling the transformer oil completely after necessary repairs, re-taking core assembly and fixing the top cover and painting to transformer complete all as specified and directed. Note (a) Rewinding of transformer shall be measured and paid separately. (b) In case of major repairs/replacement in transformer, which can not be undertaken at site, the transformer shall be shifted to civil workshop and winding and connected accessories (complete transformer) (c) Dismantling of core and repairs shall be measured and paid separately. (d) Shifting of transformer shall be measured and paid separately. (e) Complete gaskets shall be replaced by the contractor rate deemed to be inclusive.
Taking down burnt defective high tension copper coil and supply and fix new HT copper coil made out of proper/ required as per the existing size copper wire enameled of high quality matching with the existing impedance and pre- insulation all as specified and directed. Note : (a) The cost of coil shall be inclusive of varnish sleeving of insulating material. (b) Cost of taking down the clamps, upper channels and core & HT links and re-clamp, positioning with separators, brazing etc completely shall be deemed to be included in the cost.
All as per above item no.44 but of LT copper coil
Taking down and opening of HT copper wound loose overheated coil from the limbs of transfomer of various capacities upto 1000KVA, and rewinding the same by using the same copper wire after providing DPC and proper insulation etc into the coil of suitable turns etc all as specified and directed
All as per Item No 46 above, but of LT copper wound
Taking down unserviceble tinned copper bus bar of various sizes from HT/LT side cable bushing rods from the transformer of capacities and supply and fix electrolyte tinned copper bus bar of suitable size and length including making holes as required at site to the transformer LT/HT side cable bushing rods all as specified and directed
Taking down the Defective tap changer assembly ,Supply and fix offload tap changer assembly suitable for any make upto 750KVA transformer with 7 tapping position including opening top cover, conservator etcs all as specified and directed.
Supply and making replacement with new LT 1100 V end termination with suitable size of aluminium lugs duly crimped for LT 3 ½ core armoured aluminium conductor cable after isolating supply to transformer/LT panel and disconnecting brunt/fault cable from the bunch of cables in trenches, galleries, removing cable loop, opening the cable blank and connecting back after end terminals, testing and commissioning for 3 ½ core 50 to 120sq.mm(XLPE)all as specified and directed.
All as per Item No 50 above, but of Cable Size 150 Sqmm to 240 Sqmm
All as per Item No 50 above, but of Cable Size 300 to 400 Sqmm Single core.
M&L labour for alternative arrangement by hiring, transportation of transformer of capacity upto 500 KVA in place of unserviceable transformer on hire basis for 15 days including, installation, connecting and testing of transformer and return back after installation of repaired transformer complete all as specifed and directed. Note : (i) Repairing of transformer have to be completed within 15 days no extra cost will be paid toward hiring charges beyond 15 days . Moreover contractor shall not be allowed to shift the hired transformer until it is replaced by the repaired transformer . In case any fault /burning /peeling of painting and any other defects occured in hired transformer the contractor shall have to made good himself from his own expenses. (ii) Contractor should check the available infrasturcture and to be sure regarding safety of hired transformer before installation . The rete quoted is deemed to be include transportation cost, earthing lead etc. (iii) In case the defective transformer not repaired & installed on its site within the specified period of 15 days from the date of handing over to contractor a panelty recovery @ Rs 1000 /- per day will be charged from his dues. During this period contractor shall not be allowed to shift the hired transformer until it is replaced by the repaired transformer . No extra cost beyond 15 days will be paid to contractor on this account.
All as per item No 53 here-in -before but capacity of transformer 630 to 1000 KVA.

Material and labour for river washed and screened, dry sand for filling in trenches below and around underground cables for cushioning of cables etc, complete all as specified.
Supplying and laying in replacement un-reinforced precast concrete cable cover, class HV, type 1, flat size 300mmx 180mm x 40mm.
Note : contractor should procure and provide 50 % of the material as listed above within 15 days of the placing of work order and shall be verified by the Eng-in-charge
