REPAIR/MAINTENANCE OF BLACK TOP AND PQC ROAD IN TECHNICAL AREA OF AAD COLLEGE AND WORKSHOP UNDER GE (I) GOS

M&L for Repair to pot holes any depth, not exc 1 sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc cutting around edges to at least 25mm in depth, and making good by applying tack coat @ 5 Kgs per 10 Sqm and laying premixed bituminious macadam well rammed and sealed with paving bitumen 60/70 or VG-30 grade@ 9.8 Kgs per 10 Sqm, blinded with 0.09 Cum of stone chipping of size 6.3mm and again well rolled with 8 to 10 tonne power roller (Iincluding supply of pre-mixed macadam, binder and chipping) depth of pot holes exc 30mm complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for Preparing existing black top surface or bituminous macadam surfaces by brushing with brushes for removing caked mud etc sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc on back top/concrete surfaces than applying evenly priming tack coat with paving bitumen 60/70 or VG-30 penetration over the prepared surface by mechanical sprayer @ 5 Kgs/10 Sqm of surface area complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer -in-Charge.

M&L for applying bituminous premixed semi dense asphaltic concrete 40mm thick (consolidated thickness) with 5.5% binder content of paving bitumen 60/70 or VG-30 grade by weight of total mix including cement filler, on surfaces rolled & compacted with using 8 to 10 tonne capacity power roller to achieve the required compactness, camber and gradient mixed in hot mix plant using design mix and laid by mechanical paver finisher. Complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for premixed bituminous macadam laid, rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber n.exc 75mm thickness (consolidated thickness) with 4% binder content of VG -30 by weight of total mix, mixed in hot mix plant and laid by mechnical paver finished complete.

M & L for preparing bituminous surfaces of road and marking 2.5mm thick centre lines, stop lines, dashes, arrows etc. and the like n. exc 10cm wide on roads pavements with hot applied thermo plastic road marking paint of approved colour confirming to BS 3262-1989 with special applicator machine all as per manufacturers instruction complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repair cat eyes/road studs for roadways sign permanent surface mounted type having tough poly carbonate micro replicated corner cube reflector lenses with a protective abrssion resistant ceramor coating having body of weather proof and impect resistant thermoplasit complete as per manufacturer,s instruction and as directed. (Colour :- Yellow/Red/Amber) Make: Series 290 of 3M or Road Star or Equivalent.

S&F in repair solar cat eyes/road studs size (mm) 125L x 125B x 25H including stem height 53mm approx housing dia cast aluminium (grade LM-6) fully water proof and weather proof and weatherproof coating visible distance upto 400mtr LED-6 super bright amber led (3 Nos each side) yellow charged, flush frequency 1.2 Hz-1.8Hz including solar panel 3.5V/110MA & battery one PC sub ‘C’ type Ni-Cd rechargeable battery 1.2V/2.5AH temp range 20C to 70C fixed on road for roadway sign complete as per manufacturer’s instruction and directed by Engr-in-Charge Make- 3M/Avery Dennision/Dark Eye/Green/Greenlite/Road Star Cat Part No. GSR-909 or Equivalent.

S&F in repair plastic speed bumbs (Speed breakers) not less 400 mm wide blocks & yellow colours fixed with necessary spikes/screws to the road surface etc. Complete all as specified & directed by Engr -in - Charge.

S&F in repair ABS Body, 100 cm outdoor convex mirror good quality as approved by GE fixed in road/ground portion complete including hanging/fixing arrangement with adequate mounting arrangement at suitable height, having unbreakable Polycarbonate Convex Lens with hoods as the traffic safety mirror for eliminating blind spots & increase visibility at a broader angle, including excavation for post holes, PCC Type C-2 1:3:6 (using 40 mm graded stone aggregate) in post hole & removal of surplus excavated material to a distance not exceeding 50 metre & depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 metre above the starting point. Complete all as specified & directed. Make: Frontier 100 cm outdoor Convex Mirror, FMCO-100, Road Star, Real reflectors, Alexix, ACE polymers (India) or Equivalent.

S&F in repair high intensity prismatic retro - reflective (3m/Avery) sheet of colour as directed, self adhesive, fixed on steel/concrete surface etc all as specified and directed.
