Bidders shall not be under a declaration of ineligibility for corrupt and fraudulent practices issued by Government of Karnataka

The tender document is part and parcel of the agreement

It shall be the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure credit of Tender Processing Fee and EMD into the respective receiving bank accounts of e-Procurement on or before the last date and time of bid submission.

EMD Payments through e-Payment mode shall be made as one single transaction and payments made in part are liable for rejection.

The original documents should be produced for verification at any stage of tender process as and when sought for, failing which, the bids are liable for disqualification.

Rates shall be quoted in tender in bill of quantities in the website itself.

Conditional tenders are liable for rejection.

The Bidder shall obtain insurance coverage for all the workers deployed for this work at his own cost.

The bidder should take into account the prevailing royalty charges while quoting their rates and submit the Material Dispatch Permit (MDP) receipt, if not submitted penalty shall be charged as per the Joint secretary, Energy Department letter no. Energy 26 PPT 2022 dtd.26.04.2022

Bidders shall undertake to comply with the entire requirement under EPF and MP Act 1952 and cover all the workmen to be engaged for the work entrusted by the corporation under the PF Act.

KPCL shall recover the Income Tax, labor welfare cess etc., and other statutory taxes, duties, levies, cess as applicable at the prevailing rates under GoK/GoI Acts and relevant notifications

In case of the death of a contractor after executing the agreement/ commencement of the work, his legal heir, if an eligible registered contractor and willing, can execute and complete the work at the accepted tender rates irrespective of the cost of the work after obtaining approval from competent authority.

In case the dates notified above are declared as holiday, the immediate next working day will be reckoned.

If the Bidder makes any alterations in the conditions of the contract or puts any condition of his own, such tenders are liable for rejection.

In the item description in Schedule-B, the material to be used for the work should confirm with relevant IS standards. The material can be procured/used only after approval from Engineer in charge.

The location where the work is to be carried out is to be completely studied. Any electrical cables, power cables, transformers, OFC, etc., laid need to be understood. The safety of men, material and instruments is to be strictly taken care. Any lapse/ incidents/ accidents/loss is the total responsibility of bidder.

The contract may be foreclosed/extended beyond the original contract period as per the decision of KPCL.

Electric Power/Water required for carrying out the work will be made available free of cost to the extent possible and bidder shall exercise utmost care for judicious use of the same. Any extension could be made by the contractor at his/her own cost.

The corporation is not responsible for any delay in accessing e-proc portal.

Corrigendum/modification/corrections, if any, will be published in the e-proc portal only.

GST: (a) In KPPP Portal it is mentioned as Inclusive of all taxes whereas rates uploaded are exclusive of GST. Agency has to quote the rates exclusive of GST. GST will be added at prevailing rates at the time of Agreement. (b) As per Govt. order FD:447: Exependiture:12/2022 Bangalore dt. 30-7-2022 G.S.T will be paid at 18% or applicable rates at the time of payment of RA Bills, subject to verification.

In KPPP Portal it is mentioned as Inclusive of all taxes whereas rates uploaded/amount put to tender is exclusive of GST. Agency has to quote the rates exclusive of GST. GST will be added at prevailing rates at the time of Agreement.

The bidder shall deploy the required personnel, tools, plants and supply of materials for carrying out the garden maintenance work at Shakthi bhavan. Minimum wages for man power deployed (As notified by GoK from time to time) including Provident Fund, ESI Benefits etc., as per the stipulations of GoK/GoI shall be paid by the contractor.

All arrangements for transporting the men and materials, required to the office premises shall be at the cost of the bidder and no separate payment shall be made and no claim in this regard shall be entertained.

This contract will be in force for a period of one year. Variations with respect to Minimum wages, EPF, ESI, GST and other statutory taxes as notified from GoK/GoI will be paid/recover to/by the agency. The agency has to effect the statutory deductions for both Employers & Employeess Contribution towards Employees State Insurance (ESI) and Employees Provident Fund (EPF) at the rate prescribed from time to time by GoK/GoI.

The materials to be used in the work shall confirm to relevant standards and got them approved by the Engineer in charge before use. The required materials shall be procured in one lot, shall be got it approved and stored in the designated area only.

The bidder/tenderer shall make own arrangements for the storage of all materials, tools, plants at a specified place earmarked for the purpose. The safety and security of the same shall be arranged by the bidder at his own cost. KPC Ltd., shall not be responsible for loss of materials and no claim whatsoever shall be entertained on this account.
