Cleaning/ grading of ROW, Earthwork in excavation in all type of soil including hard murrum, rock etc not requiring blasting but may require mechanical means like JCB etc for required length of stretch along the pipeline trench 2.5 M avearge width & 3.0 M average depth or directed by Engineer-in-Charge/ Site Engineer and /or as required for the works including dressing of side and bottom and dewatering of the trench for sub-soil or any other water collected in the excavated trench as per tender specifications and/or directed by Engineer-in-Charge to enable the coat and wrap gang to carry out desired work, removal of old coat & wrap and making pipe surface preparation, cleaning by blasting using abrasive media (Copper Slag) conforming to SA 2-1/2 or US specification SSPC-SP-10 or British standard BS-4232 2nd quality or equivalent, followed by fresh primer of required DFT with the help of painting brush of approved quality along the pipe and on touch drying of the primer, applying one layer of Owner supplied cold tape, followed by second application of owner supplied outer tape as per tender specifications and /or as directed by Engineer-in-Charge/ Site Engineer including subsequent holiday testing, adhesion test, electrical inspection test etc, priming, coating & wraping of left out portion of skid supports/ other support points etc after backfilling the already coated section of pipeline between supports if employed on to the pipe trench bottom including backfilling using layers of soft earth screened by mesh / sieve equivalent over the pipe surface 20 cm around the periphery of the ML pipe and completing the backfilling while ensuring that pipe does not sink resulting in its tension as specified in the specification and clean up as directed by Engineer-in-Charge/ site engineer and restoration of the cleared area of the ROW to the satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge/ site engineer including all cost of labour, materials, fuel, carriage, leads & lifts, tools & tackles etc complete in all respect includes different stretches in UP sector of BKPL between chainage 241.000 Km to 678.000 Km.
Transporting, fabricating and welding of sleeve/(s) as per specification, instruction and direction of Engineer in charge/ Site engineer & transporting the same to the site and fixing/ clamping to sleeves on mainline pipe on pitted area (full encirclement sleeves) and welding of the sleeves as per API 1104 code & ANSI B 31.4-1979 and as per specification mentioned elsewhere in the contract & to the direction of Engineer-in-Charge/ site engineer including supply of all labour, tools & tackles, equipments, consumables etc, complete in all respect as per specification and direction and to the complete satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge/ Site engineer, includes sites located in different stretches in UP sector of BKPL between chainage 241.000 Km to 678.000 Km
