M&L for water proofing roof treatment on RCC roof with APP modified membrane with non woven polyester reinforced wt not less than 3 Kg/Sqm of thickness not less than 3 mm having thermal; insulation with white mineral / gravel finish on upper side of membrane embedded during manufacturing process laid in following sequence including removal of old existing treatment of tar felt, screed etc complete all as specified and directed :-
10 mm thick plaster in CM 1:4 mixed with and incl water proofing compound @ 3% by weight of cement applied over roof slab. After the plaster is cured the roof will be tested for water tightening by ponding with water for 3 days for any seepage / leakages etc. if any seepage is observed the rectification will be carried out by pressure grouting under the pressure of 5 Kg/Sqcm using cement based cement grout. After the surface is repaired the slab will be tested for water tightness against before processing further treatments.
The surface of the roof, parapet and gutters, drain mouths etc. over which water proofing treatment is to be applied shall be cleaned of all foreign matters such as fungus, mass, dust etc. by wire brushing and dusting. For cast iron drain outlets the grove shall be cut around to tuck in the treatment as pipes, chimneystacks etc. and other similar situations to ease up about corners.
Bituminous primer conforming to IS : 3384-1965 @ 0.30 Kg/Sqm to be applied an prepared surface till the surface is properly impregnated.
APP modified water proofing membrane as specified shall be laid on the primer surface by torch application method as per manufacturer’s instructions, The overlaps while torching shall be 100 mm in both directions ( longitudinal and transverse directions). All overlap joints shall be sealed thoroughly by thermo fusing both the manufacturer’s layers and sealing it with the help of hot trowel. The overlap joints shall be made as monolithic layer.
All joints & changes in direction should be curved with cement motor 1:3 mixed with SBR latex @ 200 ml per bag of cement and cured well before laying the membrane.
A fillet of PCC (1:2:4) type B-0 of 100 mm x 100 mm shall be provided at all junctions of vertical and horizontal surfaces and where ever there is a change of direction. The membrane should not be taken over at any steep turns and hence all corners /junctions should be rounded. Note: i) Work of water proofing treatment shall be carried out by authorised applicator of the manufacturer. Necessary documentary evidence in support of the authorised applicator will be submitted to Engg -in - charge before the commencement of water proofing work. ii) The quoted rates is deemed to include for the cost of scaffolding, T &P etc required for execution of work.
Ditto as per serl item No. 1.01 to 1.06 above but plain membrane without mineral finish.
M&L for Precast Machine pressed Cement concrete tiles with grey cement and no pigments of size 25 cm x 25 cm x 20-25 mm thick, set, jointed and pointed in neat cement slurry in floors and cut and polished including bedding layer of 15 mm thick screed in CM 1:4 as in roof complete all as specified & directed.
M&L for grouting of slab / beam by fixing 12 mm dia PVC nozzles and pressure injection by cement slurry of 50 Kg cement mixed pidicrete SM 225 gms of M/s pidilite industries Ltd or cabex 100 of M/S Fosroc Chemicals ) with pressure not less than 2 Kg/Sqm including necessary drilling, nozzles, plugging etc, as per manufacturer’s instructions for grouting complete all as specified and directed .
Disconnecting of existing tanks, setting aside (or lowering if required) for repair, cleaning, etc. and hoisting if required reconnecting and refixing in position capacity of tank exc 1000 ltr & n. exc 2000 ltr. Note: Rate inclusive of temporary connection for supply of water to all qtrs
Taking up or down 20 mm steel tubing and connections, including cleaning for refixing or removal to store.
Taking up or down 25 mm steel tubing and connections, including cleaning for refixing or removal to store.

M&L15 mm thick rendering in CM 1:4 on brick / concrete surfaces including finishing the surfaces even and smooth ( without using extra cement ) complete all as specified and directed
M&L for complete removal of exiting treatment on ceiling and applying two coats of white wash complete all as specified and directed.
M&L for Integral water proofing compound mixed with cement mortar complete all as specified and directed.
Taking down eaves gutters and rainwater pipes (any size or pattern), including all fittings, heads, shoes, bends, swan-necks, etc., including cleaning or refixing or removal to Store (measured overall as fixed along the center line over fitting and accessories)
S&F PVC(SWR) 110 mm pipes double socketed in any length with rubber rings joints laid and fixed in repairs to walls including clamps of the following bore
S&F PVC(SWR) 110 mm bend.
M&L for complete removal of existing treatment from walls and applying two coats of oil bound distemper over a coat of cement based putty complete all as specified and as directed. Note: Putty thickness shall be as per manufacturer’s instructions.
M&L for cleaning thoroughly complete existing surface from walls & roofs and applying two coats of acrylic polymer modified cementations based protective and water proofing coating as per manufacture instruction and directed by Engr-in-Charge.
M&L for preparation of newly plastered or unplastered surfaces of walls and applying two coats of weather proof water base emulsion paint with modified acrylic, exterior wall finished with silicon adhesive on walls complete all as specified and as directed.
Taking down existing old roof treatment of any description , any type including removal old Tar felt, screed, etc complete all as directed.
Note for all items: All items executed as per specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.
