Note :The unit rate quoted by the tenderer under Col No (13) of Sch `A’ (BOQ) unless specifically mentioned otherwise such as labour only/fixing only, for all items of works shall be deemed to be including cost of all materials, labour, tools and plants, testing and commissioning of work in position complete as required for entire completion of work.

Excavating in trenches, n exc 1.5 m wide and n exc 1.5 m in depth; for foundation, etc. or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, etc. n exc 10 sq m on plan and n exc 1.5 m in depth and getting out, complete all as specified and directed by Engrineer-in-Charge.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm thick each, excavated soil in trenches after the cables have been laid and tested, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Removing excavated soil to a distance not exceeding 50 meter and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.50 meter above the starting point , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Plain cement concrete (1:4:8), type D-2, using 40 mm graded mechanically crushed stone aggregates as in sub base ,foundations, filling and mass concrete, in and including demolition of unreinforced cement concrete in ground floors and paving n.exc 15cm thickness (below or above ground level) and removal of rubbish outside MoD land , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Plain Cement concrete75 mm thick type B-1, 1:2:4 by using 20mm graded mechanically crushed stone aggregate as in floor/hardstanding etc ,laid in panels of approved size and finishing the surfaces of concrete topping even and rough (without using extra cement) and joints filled with mastic mortar in and including demolition of unreinforced cement concrete in ground floors and paving n.exc 15cm thickness (below or above ground level) and removal of rubbish outside MoD land , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note :- Quoted rates are inclusive of use and waste of formwork and to devide the area in panels.

Plain cement concrete ,100 mm thick (1:4:8) type D-2, using 40 mm graded mechanically crushed stone aggregatesd aggregate as in sub base in and including demolition of unreinforced cement concrete in ground floors and paving n.exc 15cm thickness (below or above ground level) and removal of rubbish outside MoD land , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Plain cement concrete (1:2:4) type B-1 using 20 mm graded mechanically crushed stone aggregates as in mud stop ,sides of intetlocking paver block and the like including rounded or chamfered on edges including necessary form work in and including demolition of unreinforced cement concrete in ground floors and paving n.exc 15cm thickness (below or above ground level) and removal of rubbish outside MoD land , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and laying 60mm thick factory made machine pressed interlocking paver block of M-35 grade of shape and size confirming to IS 15658-2006 of approved colour,design & pattern laid over and including 25 mm thick compacted bed of fine sand, compacting and proper embedding/ laying of inter locking paver blocks into the sand bedding layer filling the joints with sand and cutting of paver blocks as per required size and pattern, finishing and sweeping extra in and including dismantling of stone slabs and tiles of any description or thickness laid dry or with mortar and pointed and removal of rubbish outside MoD land , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Notes :(i) Design ,color and Pattern shall be as approved by GE/Engineer-in- Charge. (ii) Quoted rates are inclusive of fine sand and nothing extra shall be admissible on this account.

Chequered Coloured cement concrete tiles 30cm x 30cm x 20-22mm thick, set, jointed and pointed in neat cement slurry in floors with gery cement and no pigment and laid over and including 15 mm thick (1:6) screed bed or bedding layer of mortar and pointed woth white cement with matching colour pigment in and including dismantling of stone slabs and tiles of any description or thickness laid dry or with mortar and pointed and removal of rubbish outside MoD land , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note :Design ,color and Pattern shall be as approved by GE/Engineer-in- Charge.

Brick work with sub-class `B' bricks, straight or curved on plan exceeding 6 M mean radius built in cement sand mortar 1:6 complete in and including demolition of brickwork or stone boulder masonary built in cement mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars etc and removal of rubbish outside MoD land , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Brick work with sub-class `B' bricks, straight or curved on plan exceeding 6 M mean radius (except bricks) built in cement sand mortar 1:6 complete in and including demolition of brickwork or stone boulder masonary built in cement mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars etc ,complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer -in-Charge. Note: Servicable bricks retrived from demolition of old brick work shall be used after proper cleaning and washing of old bricks.

Use & waste of for formwork to sides of concrete foundations, footings, bases of columns, raft and raft beams, sides and soffits (if any) of foundation and plinth beams and similar work; vertical or to batter etc for rough finished surfaces of concrete,complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer -in-Charge.

Use & waste of form work to sides of Square, rectangular or polygonal pillars, posts, struts, piers, columns and stanchions for fair finished surfaces of concrete,complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer -in-Charge.

Use & waste of form work to soffits of suspended slab of concrete such as roof slabs, floor slabs, cover slab, shelve, landings and similar works n.exc 200 mm thick (horizontal or sloping); with rough finished surfaces of concrete flat surface, complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer in Charge.

Mild steel TMT bars 10 mm dia and over as in reinforcement cut to length , bent to shape required, including cranking, bending spirally for hooping ends for columns, hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire annealed not less than 0.90 mm dia, complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer in Charge.

Mild steel TMT bars 6 to 8 mm dia and over, cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns , hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire ( annealed) not less than 0.90 mm dia. or higher , complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer in Charge.

Mild steel TMT bars 5mm dia. and over up to and including 10 mm dia. in stirrups, cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns , hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire ( annealed) not less than 0.90 mm dia. Or securing with clips , complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer in Charge. Note: Steel reinforcement shall be measured and paid for separetely.

Reinforced Cement concrete M-25 ( normal mix) type B1 using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in foundations, including rafts, footings, foundation beams; plinth beams; bases for columns, etc; basement slabs, under reamed piles and mass concrete in and including demolition of reinforced cement concrete of any description in any positionin and removal of rubbish outside MoD land , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note: Steel reinforcement shall be measured and paid for separetely.

Reinforced Cement concrete M-25 ( normal mix) type B1 using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in columns, pillars, piers, posts ans stuts in and including demolition of reinforced cement concrete of any description in any position and removal of rubbish outside MoD land , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note: Steel reinforcement shall be measured and paid for separetely.

Reinforced Cement concrete M-25 ( normal mix) type B1 using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in slabs supported on wall beam and column in floor slabs and roofs landing deck slabs and in shelves in and including demolition of reinforced cement concrete of any description in any position and removal of rubbish outside MoD land , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note: Steel reinforcement shall be measured and paid for separetely.

Rendering 15 mm thick on fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces in cement mortar 1:4 finished even and smooth without using extra cement in and including taking down cement plaster on brick walls & concrete surfaces & the like including raking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water etc., any description, and removal of rubbish outside MoD land , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Notes: (i).Quoted rate shall be deemed to include for necessary scaffolding & formwork for building upto 20.00m high. (ii) No extra payment made to contractor for work in small patches as required at site/as directed.

Rendering 15 mm thick on fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces in cement mortar 1:4 finished even and smooth without using extra cement , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Notes: (i).Quoted rate shall be deemed to include for necessary scaffolding & formwork for building upto 20.00m high. (ii) No extra payment made to contractor for work in small patches as required at site/as directed.

Preparation of newly plastered surfaces of brick/ stone/ plastered/concrete/Kerb stone and applying two or more coats of 100% Premium acrylic emulsion paint having VOC less than 50 gm/ litre and UV resistance as per IS 15489: 2004, alkali & fungal resistant, dirt resistant exterior paint of required shade with silicon additives @ 1.43 litre/ 10 sqm over and including priming coat of exterior primer applied @ 0.90 litre/ 10 sqm over new surfaces in camouflage pattern , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Notes: (i) Number of coats and pattern of camouflage shall be approved by GE. (ii) All safety measures for the safety of workers shall be ensured by contractor before execution of work. Insurance of workers shall be got done by contractor before execution of the work and the cost for the same shall be deemed to be included in rate quoted by contractor.

Complete removal of existing treatment of old surfaces of brick/ stone/ plastered/concrete/Kerb stone surface and applying two or more coats of 100% premium acrylic emulsion paint having VOC less than 50 gm/ litre and UV resistance as per IS 15489: 2004, alkali & fungal resistant, dirt resistant exterior paint of required shade in camouflage pattern as approved by GE with silicon additives @ 1.43 litre/ 10 sqm over and including priming coat of exterior primer applied @ 0.90 litre/ 10 sqm over old surfaces , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (ii) The rate quoted by contractor is deemed to be included necessary scaffolding and form work as required .

Framed work as in doors or gates of angle or other section with gusset plates, rails, braces etc. complete drilled for fixing of steel sheeting or other covering; doors etc. to be prepared for hanging or sliding with and including either hooks and hinges or steel hanging door fittings (exclusive of steel sheeting or other covering, running rails and guides) and hanging; also fastening of Fe 290 Gde E-165 in and including dismantling structural steel work including doors, gates ,post etc but excluding framed truss etc. ,complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in- Charge.

Excavation in post holes (or similar holes) each not exc. 0.5 Cum and getting out, returning, filling in and ramming earth or broken rubble mixed with earth around, in layers not exc. 25 cm, watering and removing surplus spoil to a distance not exc. 50 m and making good surface in soft / loose soil , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Plain cement concrete (1:3:6), type C-2, using 40 mm graded mechanically crushed stone aggregates as in foundations, filling and mass concrete, including demolition of unreinforced cement concrete in ground floors and paving n.exc 15cm thickness (below or above ground level) and removal of rubbish outside MoD land , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Mild Steel angle iron for post and flat iron, or other steel section or core for wooden hand-rail straight portion drilled including embedded in concrete and screwing etc., posts and struts in fencing including cutting tops to shape as directed, drilling holes, notching for wire, etc flat iron fillets (for scuring wire mesh etc). including all necessary drilling, bolting or riveting etc. and similar work conforming to Fe-290 Gde E-165,in and including dismantling structural steel work including doors, gates ,post etc but excluding framed truss etc. ,complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in- Charge. Note:- Earth work and concrete shall be measured and paid for separately under respective item of this schedule.

Supply only chain link MS galvanised fencing of size 100x100mm, 4mm dia , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Fixing only chain link galvanised wire fencing mesh size or with 4 mm nominal dia and both ends without knuckling/ twisting, fixed to flat iron rails with RCC/Angle iron post in and including taking down old unserviceable existing chain link fencing , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note:- Supply of chain link and mild steel galvanised line wire shall be measured and paid separately under respective item of this schedule .

Restraining and resecuring including making good only barbed wire including making good staples etc. galvanized 2 strand, steel barbed wire 2.24 mm dia, barbed with 2mm dia barbs at 75mm spacings, and straining and fixing to any type of standard rails, straining bolts, including securing or tying at crossings with and provision of galvanized mild steel wire staples, or steel pins etcall as specified and directed. Note:Each line of wire to be measured

Galvanized 2 strand, steel barbed wire 2.24 mm dia, barbed with 2mm dia barbs at 75mm spacings, and straining and fixing to any type of standard rails, straining bolts, including securing or tying at crossings with and provision of galvanized mild steel wire staples, or steel pins etc in and including taking down old unserviceable existing barbed wire. , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note:Each line of wire to be measured

Mild steel screw bolt (machine made) factory made with hexagonal or square heads at one end and screwed the othe ,or screwed both ends,each screwed end to be fitted with washers and one hexagonal or square nut exc 5 cm but not exc 10 cm long and dia of neck 5 to 10 mm , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Plain mild steel round bar 8 to 10mm dia, cut to length, bent to shape required, making hooks at ends, woven in chain link and fixed with nut and bolts, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Barbed razor type concertina coil of 600 mm dia (when unstretched) fixed between the existing ‘V’ angle post and barbed wire over security wall /PCC /ground as per requirment with coil of coverage 6.00 running metre per coil, weight of each coil 9.5 to 10.00 Kg hot dip galvanized and binding with and including MS annealed wire of 0.90 mm in and including taking down old unserviceable existing concertina coil , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Pre painted galvalume aluminium zinc coating GI based corrugated steel sheet 0.50mm thick of an colour having tensile strength of 550 Mpa as in roof covering / cladding to wall, fixed with self tapping screws in and including demolition of old unservicable sheet/ridge ,complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in- Charge.

Cutting grooves in brick wall 75mm wide and 65mm deep and shaping horizontal face of groove with cement mortar (1:3) ,complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in- Charge.

Rolled steel sections as in main and cross beams, hip and jack rafters, purlins; where connected to common rafters and running rails and guides for sliding doors; fixed with angle cleats or other connecting plates of Fe.290.Gde-E-165 in and including of dismantling wrought iron or mild steel work of any description not otherwise provided for ,complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in- Charge.

Preparation of new or previously untreated steel surfaces of any description , not otherwise described over 10 cm width or girth and applying two coats of synthetick enamells paint ,complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer in Charge.

Preparation of old painted steel surfaces of any description , not otherwise described over 10 cm width or girth and applying one coats of synthetic enamells paint ,complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer in Charge.

Providing precast cement concrete 1:2:4, type B-0, using 12.5mm graded mechanically crushed stone aggregates as in louvres and jallies,25mm thick (measured solid), in cluding all mould- ings but excluding frame in and including dismantling one way trellis work (Jafri) including taking as under of battens in trellis (posts and rails measured separately) and removal of rubbish outside MoD land , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note: Steel reinforcement shall be measured and paid for separetely.

Cutting hole in brick wall built in cement mortar exc. half brick but n. exc. one brick wall for inserting hold fasts and making good dismantled portion in cement mortar (1:3) or cement concrete (1:2:4) type B-1 using crushed stone aggregate as required , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Taking down Chowkhats with shutters without taking of shutter from the frame of any description exceeding 1.50 Sq. m but not exceeding 4.00 Sq. m each, and making good the disturbed surface in CM 1:4 & finished with similar specification as exists, complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Resecuring or easing & adjusting of Shutters of any description exc 1sq. m but n exc 2 sq. m each without taking down, after minor repair for smooth functioning and making good surfaces as per the existing surfaces,complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
