Tenders from Joint ventures are not acceptable.

Bidders shall not be under a declaration of ineligibility for corrupt and fraudulent practices issued by Government of Karnataka

Bidders shall ensure upload of relevant document certifying his/her status as Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe/other reserved category as prescribed in the tender document.

It shall be the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure credit of Tender Processing Fee and EMD into the respective receiving bank accounts of e-Procurement on or before the last date and time of bid submission.

EMD Payments through e-Payment mode shall be made as one single transaction and payments made in part are liable for rejection.

Addendum / Corrigendum will be published in the website for all modifications or corrections if any

Conditional Tenders are liable to be rejected .The Employer reserves the right to reject any or all Tenders without assigning any reason

The contractor has to make his own arrangements for procurement of all the required materials and the materials so procured shall confirm to the relevant IS Specifications or Equivalent and obtain necessary quality certificate from authorized quality control.

The Contractor is fully responsible for the Equipment / Material / Project, until the same is handed over to the EXECUTIVE ENGINEER in an operating condition after commissioning

The Contractor is responsible for the proper maintenance of equipment / material / Project, as well as protection of the same against theft, elements of nature, damages etc while in his custody as well as after erection until the same is taken over by the EXECUTIVE ENGINEER under due acknowledgment in writing

The contractor should furnish the name of the individual/ firm/company with address, telephone number, fax number, e-mail address with place of registration, year of incorporation etc.

The certificates furnished by the bidder shall be got confirmed / verified for its genuineness

The intending Bidders are advised to visit the site of work, make themselves familiar with local situation about the availability of the construction materials, workmen, land required for construction activities etc

If any of the dates mentioned above happens to be a general holiday, the next working day holds good.

All materials of approved quality including steel, cement etc., required for the above work should be procured by the contractor only. No departmental supply of any materials shall be made

Typographical errors, if any, will not be the ground for any claims by the bidder/ firm/company

The agency should establish temporary material testing lab near the work spot with all the required facilities.

The Period of completion is 06 months (including Monsoon).

Disposal of debris / unused excavated stuff including transportation and with all lead & lifts is in the scope of the bidder/ firm/company.

Safety measures, barricading, traffic management, etc. at work sites are in the scope of the bidder/ firm/company

All the cost towards measures to be taken by the bidder/ firm/company for dewatering necessary for the execution of the work is deemed to be included in the bid price.

Creating Documentation of day-to-day activities and submitting the same to the Department regularly, such as Photos/Videos, Progress/Other Reports, Log-books, History Sheets, Inventory Register, Correspondence Files, As-Built Drawings shall be maintained.

The bidder should provide the required safety measures and train all concerned staff in day-to-day operations. The bidder/ firm/company shall comply with all applicable health and safety regulations in all activities of the Scheme. The bidder/ firm/company is responsible for ensuring the health & safety of his personnel.

The bidder shall plan adequately for any accidents to the personnel and all statutory requirements according to the Labour Act shall be provided to the concerned personnel.

Any activity not specifically mentioned herein but deemed to be fairly contingent to the intent and spirit of contracted work as per the Engineer in charge will form part of the responsibility of the Contractor.

The intending bidder should adhere to the latest version of relevant IS standards which are applicable for all designs/execution/testing & commissioning etc. for this works.

The bidder is required to ensure browser compatibility of the computer well in advance to the last date and time for receipt of tenders. The departments shall not be responsible for non accessibility of KPPP portal due to internet connectivity issues and technical glitches at bidders end

Bidder shall pay Contract Management Module processing fees of 0.025% of the contact value (Min Rs.500/- & Max Rs.7500/-) soon after contract has been issued to bidder

Royalty on construction materials and other taxes will be deducted as per prevailing Govt orders. Royalty shall be deducted as per KMMCR 1994 Amendment rule 2016, Also KMMCR 2016 Amendment Rule 36(3), 42(1), 44(3), 44(4)

The cost of the Tender form shall not be refundable.

As per Karnataka State Govt Order No:LD/300/LET/2006/Bangalore Dt:1-1-2007 and Govt Ltr No:PW/134/BMS/2007, Dt: 27-7-2007, a sum amounting to 1% of the bill amount will be deducted towards Construction Labour Welfare fund.

Financial Year will be reckoned as the period between first day of April and Thirty first day of March of succeeding year (both days inclusive).

The tenderer shall furnish required information in all formats. Scan and upload all Formats/Original documents required for this bid to the KPP Portal. The Original Formats/Documents shall be produced at the time of opening of Technical Bid for physical verification.

The tenderer shall submit an affidavit stating that he has not involved in litigation with Government, also he shall state that, amount of existing / ongoing works and amount of works awarded to him and yet to be commenced.

The individual bidders should be Class III and Above Contractor registered in Karnataka PWD

The Tenderer has quote his rate by excluding GST. However Contract will be concluded for the amount (Exclusive of GST) but applicable GST will be paid extra prevailing at the time of execution. If the GST Rates are revised during the contract period, the Tenderer/Employer has to accept the revised GST rates for making payment / recovery

Line of Credit should be in prescribed format(In Bankers Letter Head), if not, then the Bid is liable to be rejected

The contractor has to furnish Additional security deposit for unbalance tender as per clause 25.1 of ITT, to an amount equal to difference in contract price and amount put to tender , in addition to 5 % performance guarantee (in any of the form prescribed may be deducted in running bill of the contractors).

In the case of the death of the contractor after executing the agreement / commencement of the work, his legal heir, if is an eligible registered contractor and is willing can execute and compete the work at the accepted tender rates irrespective of the cost of the work.

During the execution of work, if any minor minerals are required contractors have to abide by the Karnataka Minor Mineral Concession Rules 1994 (as amended up to date). As per the prevailing rules, for any use of Minor Minerals, the contractor has to submit the Mineral Dispatch Permit (MDP) obtained from Mines and Geology Department. If Mineral Dispatch Permit (MDP) is not submitted by the contractor along with the bill, the prevailing penalty and DMF contribution as per Karnataka Minor Mineral concession rules 1994 (as amended from time to time) will be deducted from contractors bills at the time of payment.

General

Minimum financial turnover (civil engineering construction works) not less than two times the annual payments from this contract (Rs. xxxxx Lakhs)

Satisfactoriy completed (atleast 90%) as prime contractor at-least one such similar work of value not less than Rs. xxxxxxx (80% of estimated cost of tender)

Executed in any one year the following minimum quantities of work (Cement Concrete - xxxx cum, Earthwork - xxxx cum, etc) (80% of peak rate of construction)

Tenderer or his identified Sub Contractor should possess valid Electrical License for executing building electrificatio works and should have executed similar electrical works totallng Rs. xxxxxx (not less than 50% of electrical works) n any one year

Tenderer or his identified Sub Contractor should possess valid license for executing water supply / sanitary engineering works and should have executed similar works totallng Rs. xxxxxx (not less than 50% of electrical works) n any one year

Owning the following key and critical equipment for this work (xxxx, xxxx, xxxx)

The granite/ trap/ basalt crushed graded coarse aggregates and fine aggregates as per relevant IS Codes machine mixed with super plasticizers laid in finished layers, well compacted using needle vibrators, including all lead & lifts, cost of all materials, quality confirming to the requirements of relevant IS codes, labour, Usage charges of machinery, curing and all the other appurtenances required to complete the work as per technical specifications. (The cost of steel reinforcement & formwork to be paid separately) M20 Design Mix Using 20 mm nominal size graded crushed coarse aggregates with all leads and lift etc. complete and as per the direction of the Engineer-in-charge.

Providing form work to concrete work of item no 10 including cost of materia, labour and machineries etc. as per direction of the Ingineer incharge to complete the work with all lead and lifts.

Providing and laying insitu vibrated M-20 (28 days cube compressive strength not less than 20 N/ sq mm) grade cement concrete using 20mm down size approved, clean, hard, graded aggregates as per relevant IS Codes machine mixed with super plasticisers, laid in layers, well compacted using needle vibrators, including cost of all materials of quality, confirming to the requirements of relevant IS codes, labour, Usage charges of machinery, curing, centering, formwork and scafolding and all other appurtenances required to complete the work as per technical specifications for check dam/ pickups/ irrigation tanks/ waste weir/ sluice, sluice canal and other allied works like abutments/ wing walls/ returns/ cutoff walls works & all necessary works as directed and complete as per specification etc., complete with all lead and all lifts.

Supplying, fitting and placing TMT FE 550/ 550D Steel Reinforcement for Dam & Allied Works including cost of all materials, machinery, labour, cleaning, straightening, cutting, bending, hooking, laping/welding joints, tying with binding wire/ soft nealed steel wire and other ancilary operations with all leads and lift etc. complete and as per the direction of the Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and constructing 75 mm dia PVC pipe weep holes for concret/ masonry wall including providing 200X200x200 mm size porous concrete block made of cement and 20 mm down coarse aggregate in 1:4 proportion including 100 mm thick sand backing at the junction of wall and soil back filling, cost of all materials machineries labour with all leads and lift etc. complete and as per the direction of the Engineer-in-charge.

Design, fabrication, supply, erection and commissioning of embedded parts consisting of sill beam, wheel tracks, seal seatss, guide rails, gate groove liners etc., with all accessories for canal escape/ regulator stoplog gate including cost of all materials, machinery, labour, cutting, aligning, anchoring, welding, finishing, cleaning, applying one coat zinc rich epoxy primer and four coats of cold applied coal tar epoxy paint etc., complete as per specifications and approved drawings with all lead and all lifts for including packing/ forwarding charges for other materials with all leads and lift etc. complete and as per the direction of the Engineer-in-charge.

Design, fabrication, supply, erection, testing and commissioning of 7.34. sliding type interchangeable stoplog gate elements consisting of skin plate, stiffeners, horizontal and vertical girders, lifting hooks, bronze padded slide blocks, guide shoes, rubber seals etc., with all accessories for canal regulator vent including cost of all materials, machinery, labour, cutting, aligning, welding, finishing, cleaning, applying one coats of zinc rich epoxy primer and three coats of cold applied coal tar epoxy paint, seal fixing etc.,complete as per specifications and approved drawings with all lead and all lifts including packing/ forwarding charges for other materials with all leads and lift etc. complete and as per the direction of the Engineer-in-charge.

Construction of Embankment by excavating the available approved Gravel/ Murrum deposited at a place or borrow pits during or prior excavation with all lifts and lead, transportation to site, spreading, grading to required slope and compacting to meet the requirement complete as per specifications, including cost of labour, rolling, water, all materials, usage& all other appurtenaces required to complete the work with all leads and lift etc. complete and as per the direction of the Engineer-in-charge.
