Tender for Desilting and repairing of the existing storm water drains at Chennai Fishing Harbour

1. Demolishing damaged R.C.C. work manually / by mechanical means including stacking of steel bars wherever required without damaging the nearby structures including collecting, and depositing the debris nearby within a lead of 50m for disposal all as specified and all as directed at site of work, including , all labour, tools, tackles, equipments, fuel, etc., complete

2.Dismantling the existing damaged PCC Rich mix concrete wherever required without damaging the nearby structures including collecting, and depositing the debris nearby within a lead of 50m for disposal all as specified and all as directed at site of work, including , all labour,tools, tackles,equipments,fuel, etc., complete

3.Dismantling and removing the damaged brick work manually / by mechanical means in Cement Mortar to the required size wherever required without damaging the nearby structures including collecting and depositing the debris within a lead of 50m for disposing all as specified and as directed at site, including all all labour, tools, tackles, equipments, fuel, etc., complete..

4.Earthwork excavation by manually / mechanically in ordinary soil upto 1.50m depth, sand, clay, mixed with roots, boulders, weighing individually less than 250 kg. debris, rubbish etc., for foundation and wherever required, including dressing of sides, ramming of bottom as specififed under relevant schedules and drawings, depositing the excavated earth within a lead of 50m all as directed including shoring, shuttering, labour, tools, tackles, equipments, fuel, etc., complete.

5.Dewatering in the excavated area by pumping the water from foundation trench and wherever required hiring of Diesel pump motor as per site condition and as directed including pumping the water carefully without affecting the near by site including all labour, tools, plants, equipment, transport, fuel etc., complete.

6.Providing and laying of Plain Cement Concrete of mix 1:4:8 in volumetric proportion (1 cement : 4 CS sand : 8 Hard granite graded stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size) for levelling course for drains and wherever required including shuttering, mixing, transporting, placing, ramming, consolidating, curing all as per relevant specifications, drawings and as directed including all labour, materials, tools, plants,equipments, fuel, etc, complete.

7.Hiring of JCB for removing , lifting of precast drain cover slab, desilting / sludge removal work from drains and wherever required and re fixing of existing Precast slabs on the drain wall all as directed at site of work including all materials, labour, tools, equipment, fuel, etc., complete.

8.Providing and laying RCC of mix in 1:1.5:3, in volumetirc proportions (1 cement :1.5 CS sand : 3 Hard granite graded stone aggregate 20 mm graded down to 12mm size) in volumetric proportions for base slab of drain and wherever required including mixing, transporting, placing, ramming, consolidating, including the cost of centering, shuttering, finishing and reinforcement all as per relevant specification and as directed including all materials, labour, curing, tools, plants, equipments, transport, fuel, etc., complete. Note: 1.Supplying, fabricating and fixing in position of reinforcement steel will be measured paid seperately under relevant item of this schedule.

9.Providing and laying RCC of mix in 1:1.5:3 in volumetirc proportions (1 cement :1.5 CS sand : 3 Hard granite graded stone aggregate 20 mm graded down to 12mm size) in volumetric proportions for side wall of drain and wherever required including mixing, transporting, placing, ramming, consolidating,including the cost of centering, shuttering, finishing and reinforcement all as per relevant specification and as directed including all materials, labour, curing, tools, plants, equipments, transport, fuel, etc., complete. Note: 1. Supplying, fabricating and fixing in position of reinforcement steel will be measured paid seperately under relevant item of this schedule.

10.(a) Providing, casting and fixing in postion of RCC 1:1.5:3 mix precast Cover slab 75mm thick for drains of required size in cement concrete (1 cement :1.5 CS sand : 3 hard granite graded stone aggregate 20 mm graded down to 12 mm size) in volumetric proportion as per relevant specifications and as directed at site including shuttering, mixing, transporting, placing, ramming, consolidating, curing, etc, including lifting, transporting, placing of precast slabs in position over the drain, all labour, materials, transport, equipment, fuel, tools etc., complete Note: 1. Supplying, fabricating and fixing in position of reinforcement steel will be measured paid seperately under relevant item of this schedule.
