Surface dressing n.exc 30 cm deep and averaging 15 cm deep and getting out in soft/loose soil and removing rubbish/spoil to a distance n.exc 50m all as specified.

Excavating over areas, n.exc 1.5 m deep and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excacated material soil n.exc 50 m and depositing where directed at a level n.exc 1.5m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for moorum /red bajri filling in floors or paving, laid in layers n.exc 15 cm thick, spread, levelled blinded with earth and rammed including watering complete all specified & directed.

M&L for 75 mm thick granular subbase or light wearing surfaces with moorum or red bajri, spread rolled by power roller exc 2 tonne and n.exc 5 tonne and consolidated to gradient and camber required complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for providing PCC (1:4:8) type D-2 using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregates in foundations, filling mass concrete, paving, hardstanding and similar work complete all as specified

M&L for sand (screened river) filling 25mm thick under floor or in foundation including watering & consolidation complete all as specified & directed.

M&L for polyethylene film 400 micron, conforming to IS-2508 laid on sand layer complete all as specified & directed. Note : Sand shall be measured & paid separately, under respective item of this schedule.

M&L for Cement concrete work as in pavement/hardstanding of flexual strength 40 Kg/square centimeter in field using 400 kg of cement per cubic metre, thickness of concrete 250 mm or less including necessary form work etc. Note :- (i) Concrete shall be laid in paneis as decided by GE. (ii) Deduction shall be made for expansion joints. Joints shall be measured and paid for separately under respective item of this BoQ.

M&L for finishing surfaces of concrete pavement by brooming complete all as specified.

M&L for forming 12 mm thick expension joints filled with pre-formed bituminous filler and top 30mm primed and sealed with sealing compound grade A"as in 250mm thickness of concrete slab complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Forming construction joint (Dummy) 30 mm deep and 10 mm wide, primed and filed with sealing compound grade Á

M&L for repair to pot holes any depth, not exc, 1 Sq m each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths etc cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth, making good by applying tack coat @ 5Kg per 10 Sqm, putting in pre-mixed bituminous macadam, well rammed and sealed with binder 9.8 Kg/10 Sqm and blinded with 0.09 Cum of stone chippings, 6.3 mm size and again well rammed (including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chippings), depth of potholes exc 30mm complete all specified and directed.

Scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area not exc 400 Sqm depth, exc 50 mm and not exc 100 mm deep and including stacking materials in heaps complete all specified and directed.

M&L for premix bituminous macadam laid/rolled and compacted to a required gradient and camber using 4% paving bitumen (VG-30) by weight of mix shall be from hot mix plant and laid by mechnical paver rolled by 8 to 12 tonne vibrating (Tandem) and compacted to required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness 75 mm or less) complete all specified and directed.

M&L for providing and laying consolidating 150 mm thick premixed WMM for mixing plant rolled by 8 to tonne vibrating (Tandem) road roller to confirm uniform surfaces and compacted to required gradient and camber complete with mechanical paver and filler shall be added as per job mix design complete all as specifed.

M&L for preparing existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc and including applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminous primer @ 5 Kg per 10 Sqm complete all specified and directed.

M&L for preparing unsurfaced WMM surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc and applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminous primer @ 5 Kg per 10 Sqm complete all specified and directed.

M&L for Preparing macadam surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc and applying evenly a priming/tack coat of bituminous primer @ 3Kg/10 Sqm complete all specified and directed.

M&L for providing and laying and consolidating 40 mm thick bituminous premix semi dense asphaltic concrete with 5.5 % binder content by weight of total mix from hot mix plant, rolled by 8 to 12 ton vibrating (Tandem) road roller to confirm uniform surface and compacted to required gradient and camber complete with mechanical paver, filler shall be added as per job mix design complete all specified and directed. Note : (i) Work shall be executed as per design mix approved by GE (I). (ii) Filler shall be cement (OPC-43 Grade). (iii) Any variation in binder during design mix at site on plus side shall be borne by the contractor without any cost to the department. However, if binder contents is minus side (i.e less than 5.5%) same shall be adjusted as per condition 62 (G) of IAFW-2249 (GCC).

M&L for for boulder pitching laid dry hand packed tightly grouted with cement and sand mortar 1:6 complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparation including cleaning the surface of all dirts scales and foreign materials of new bituminous surfaces of road dispersal and the like n exc 10 cm in width and applying thermo plast reflective type road marking material conforming to BS standard 3362 with 20% glass beads (Inter mixed) minimum 2.5 mm thick with hot application, white or golden yellow by automatic engine drive in strips in desire pattern not exc 10 cm wide complete all as specified and directed,
