Dismantling GI Pipes (External Work) including excavation and refilling trenches after taking out the pipes, manually / by mechanical means including stacking of pipes within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge. Above 40 mm nominal bore.

Removal of existing membrane from the surface, .cleaning the surface with wire brush or grinder as required, removing all loose particles and sprinkling water to make the surface in Saturated surface. Undulation/depression present on the surface to be levelled properly using polymer modified mortar and made as smooth as possible complete as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Dismantling old plaster or skirting raking out joints and cleaning the surface for plaster including disposal of rubbish to the dumping ground within 50 metres lead.

12 mm cement plaster of mix : 1:4 (1 cement: 4 fine sand).

Providing and laying APP (Atactic Polypropylene Polymer) modified prefabricated five layer 3 mm thick water proofing membrane, black finished reinforced with nonwoven polyester matt consisting of a coat of bitumen primer for bitumen membrane @ 0.40 litre/sqm by the same membrane manufacture of density at 25°C, 0.87-0.89 kg/ litre and viscocity 70-160 cps. Over the primer coat the layer of membrane shall be laid using Butane Torch and sealing all joints etc, and preparing the surface complete. The vital physical and chemical parameters of the membrane shall be as under : Joint strength in longitudinal and transverse direction at 23°C as 650/ 450N/ 5cm. Tear strength in longitudinal and transverse direction as 300/250N. Softening point of membrane not less than 150°C. Cold flexibility shall be upto -2°C when tested in accordance with ASTM, D - 5147. The laying of membrane shall be got done through the authorised applicator of the manufacturer of membrane:3mm thick.

Brick work with F.P.S. bricks of class designation 7.5 in superstructure above plinth level upto floor V level in all shapes and size in : Cement mortar 1 : 4 ( 1 cement : 4 coarse sand).

Providing Gola 75 x 75 mm in cement concrete 1:2:4 (1 Cement : 2 Coarse Sand : 4 Stone Aggregate 10 mm and down gauge), including finishing with cement mortar 1:3 (1 Cement : 3 fine Sand) as per standard design: In 75 x 75 mm deep chase.

Providing and fixing G.I. pipes complete with G.I. fittings including trenching and refilling etc. External work

Making connection of G.I. distribution branch with G.I. main of following sizes by providing and fixing tee, including cutting and threading the pipe etc. complete: 50 to 80 mm nominal bore.

Painting with aluminium paint of approved brand and manufacture to give an even shade .Two or more coats on new work.

Providing and fixing gun metal valve with CI wheel of approved quality (screwed end).

Buy Back of dismantled existing pipe and G.I. Fittings i.e. socket, tee, elbow, Union etc. (used in plumbing work) and shifting the same from Ashok Hotel to desired location, complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Extra for covering top of membrane with Geotextile, 120 gsm non woven, 100% polyester of thickness 1 to 1.25 mm bonded to the membrane with intermittent touch by heating the membrane by Butane Torch as per manufactures recommendation.

Providing and laying brick tiles over mumty roofs, grouted with cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement : 3 fine sand) mixed with 2% of integral water proofing compound by weight of cement, over 12 mm layer of cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement : 3 fine sand) and finished neat: With common burnt clay FPS (non-modular) brick tiles of class designation 10.
