PROVIDING SERVICES FOR MANNING AND OPERATION OF MAIN RECEIVING STATION AND CAPTIVE POWER HOUSE DG SETS AT INS CHILKA UNDER GE CHILKA

Manning, Operation and Maintenance of Main Electricity Receiving Station 11 KV VCBs (11 Nos) including VCB at Pigri pump house and Captive Power House DG Sets ( 250 KVA DG set = 2 Nos) at INS Chilka under GE Chilka in three shifts by depolying 01 Electrician(skilled) & 01 Helper (unskilled) in each shift of 08 hours including sundays & holidays completed all as specified and as directed in following shift :- 1st shift timing : 0600 hours to 1400 hours 2nd shift timing : 1400 hours to 2200hours 3rd Shift timing: 2200 hours to 0600 hours Plants and Services to be covered under the manning & operation ( i ) 11 KV VCBs at MRS = 10 Nos (ii) 11KV VCB at Pigri pump house = 01 Nos (iii) DG sets at MRS = (a) 250 KVA DG set : Ashok Layland, (b) 250 KVA DG set: Kirloskar (iv) AMF Panel, Synchronization panel, OCB = 2 Nos, LT panel boards, Switching ON/OFF centralized Street light system at the MRS (v) 11KV 2 /3/ 4 pole structures at the stations, RMU VCB panels

(vi) Manned employees have to rectify the 11 KV no supply defects, including changing fuse wires, jumpers, disconnection/reconnection of Lightening arrestors, Drop out fuses, GOAB Switches, 11KV HT cables from Structures, VCB panels etc as directed by Engineer-in-charge. (vii) Operators have to carryout daily/weekly/monthly preventive maintenance of VCBS, DG Sets, panel boards, 11 KV Structures, RMU panels etc including general cleaning of equipments as per OEM directions or as per directoins of Engr-in-charge. Notes:- (i) Basic mobile phone, emergency light, tools and plant shall be provided by contractor for smooth functioning of installations. (ii) Minimum wages shall be as per notification issued by the Chief Labour Commissioner (Central), Ministry of Labour and Employment, Government of India. Any increase in wages rates during the period of contract shall be paid by the contractor at his own cost. (iii) The quoted rate shall include EPF, ESI, LWC, GST etc as applicable as per current rates / rules. Rate quoted shall be deemed to be inclusive of any future enhancement and shall be born by the contractor at his own cost. The contractors shall submit copy of receipts of EPF, ESI as applicable etc in respect of his employees alongwith RAR/FB while claiming payment. (iv) Contractor shall made payment to his employees through Aadhar link bank account and copy of receipt of such payment shall be submitted to Engineer-in-Charge for their verification.

(v) Contractor shall provide log sheet attendance register and other stationery items required for smooth functioning of installation. The rate quoted is inclusive of cost of such items. (vi) Rate quoted by the contractor is inclusive of cost of uniform to his employees for wearing during working hours. Pattern of uniform shall be approved by Engineer-in-Charge/GE. (vii) Contractor shall monitor his staff regularly and shall watch and guard installation during contract period. Any loss / damage due to negligence to the Govt property / installation / equipments/ plants shall be made good by the contractor at his own cost. (viii) General cleanliness and upkeeping of existing plants shall deemed to be included in unit rate quoted. (ix) In case of non submission of copy of receipt of EPF, ESI etc as applicable, the RAR/Final bill payment with not be entertained by the department for which responsibility shall be rest with the contractor. (x) Tenderer shall provide and keep all HT testing equipment and tools like HT megger, discharge rod,Gloves, Safety head gear, Belt,Jumper wire, fuse wire etc during the period of contract for use by the trademen so deployed. The rate quoted under this item is inclusive of such provn and nothing extra shall be paid on this account.
